We are Buttons & Bubbles C.I.C. We aim to increase inclusion and representation for the disabled community across society. We have several different services including bespoke characters, workshops, free resources, events, sensory trails and more. 

As we continue to grow, we are on a mission to make finding and accessing information around everything to do with disability easier. Hence, we're putting together a brand-new team of volunteers who are passionate about content and using the power of social media for good

Are you looking to gain finance experience while making a meaningful impact in the community? Join Hidayah as a finance assistant in this volunteer-based role under the guidance of the treasurer.

Hidayah is a volunteer-led organisation supporting LGBTQI+ Muslims through community support, advocacy, education, and wellbeing initiatives. The finance assistant supports the financial operations of the organisation by helping maintain accurate financial records, assisting with reporting and budgeting, and supporting the treasurer with day-to-day finance administration.

This role is flexible and requires a minimum of 2 hours per week, with occasional additional time required during busy periods or year-end processes.

• Support the Treasurer with financial administration and record-keeping.

Role Overview

As a Production Assistant, you will support the Video Production Manager and team in all stages of video production, focusing primarily on the pre and production phase. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our video projects are well-planned and executed smoothly. You will be involved in tasks ranging from script writing to stage setting, ensuring that all necessary preparations are in place for successful video production.
 

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Video Production Manager to develop and refine scripts for various video projects, conducting research to gather relevant information and insights to inform script content and invite guests when necessary.

• Assist in planning and setting up stages for video shoots, including arranging props, lighting, and other necessary equipment, and coordinate with the production team to ensure all stage elements are in place.

Join us as a Volunteer Communications Assistant! 

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to support our Community Connections Officer and the People we support in Wales.If you’re looking for Communications experience or you love to make a difference, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved! 
 
Activities will include 

Supporting our Facebook and social media presence. This includes:

• Assisting with poster creation and promotional materials 

• Using Canva to create visual content and graphics 

• Creating content and engaging with Dimensions Wales Facebook group members 

• Networking with community social media groups 

• Liaising with Dimensions Community Connections Officer 

About you 

We are looking for someone who is: 

• Interested in communications, marketing, or social media 

• Experienced in using Canva and confident with social media 

• Creative with good written communication skills 

• Friendly, enthusiastic and interested in others

• Passionate about supporting people to live better lives 

• Reliable/dependable and willing to volunteer regularly

About the position

The role provides you with flexibility and autonomy at work. Where necessary, specific training will also be provided to help you develop and grow your skill set.

Main Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic.
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design.
• Test graphics across various media.
• Amend designs after feedback.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• General tasks
• Contribute to staff meetings and other internal meetings with views and suggestions etc.

Essential

• Proven graphic designing experience.
• A portfolio of illustrations or another graphics / CV
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Suite)
• Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of tasks.
• Focused, organised and able to prioritise and execute tasks independently.
• To show professionalism at all levels and in all environments
• Strong team player
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.

Desirable

About the position

Quilombo UK is looking to recruit a Legal Assistant who helps organization in various legal matters.

Main Responsibilities

• We are looking for an experienced lawyer to assist the organisation in overlooking projects, ensuring they are compliant with relevant and up to date legislation and regulations.

• The legal assistant will be responsible for making sure all contracts, legislations and documents are treated within correct legal standards. They are to make sure that all activities are being performed in line with contracts and the law. 

• The Legal Assistant will work closely with the HR department in overlooking the volunteer forms, legislations and documents. They should also assist the different departments within the organisation(Marketing, Funding, HR, Finance) in upholding the legal requirements needed to run the tasks that they do. 

• Provide written reports as and when required. To undertake additional duties as required for the role.

• You will need to be an experienced lawyer or have a good legal understanding.
