Clinical Guideline Compliance

• Support the Care Coordinator in implementing and maintaining up-to-date clinical guidelines, ensuring all activities align with best practice.

Beneficiary Safeguarding and Referral

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for beneficiaries, with particular focus on high-risk cases, and ensure all documentation is thorough.

• Risk assess and send initial referral for neurodiversity assessments

High-Risk Cases & Referrals

• Coordinate high-risk cases, working closely with the Care Coordinator to ensure robust safeguarding, timely referrals, and multi-agency collaboration.

Funding Eligibility

• Understand and advise on eligibility for funding and support, including eligibility and risk assessments, and accurate documentation for each applicant.

Care Complaints

• Manage and investigate care-related complaints, following formal procedures and ensuring detailed documentation.

Care Coordination

• Serve as a key point of contact for beneficiaries, families, and professionals, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.

• Develop and review personalised care and support plans, adapting to changing needs.

Essential Skills & Attributes

• Experience in safeguarding adults, care coordination, case management, or clinical support (NHS, social care, or charity sector preferred).

• Strong risk assessment, safeguarding, and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Commitment to AuDHD UK’s mission and values.

• Lived experience of AuDHD (desired).

Time Commitment Estimate

• Clinical Care Team Management and guideline compliance: 2-4 hrs/month (availability to join our Key Staff Meeting on Wednesdays at 12pm is desirable)

• Beneficiary risk assessments: 2-5 hrs/week at peak application times

• High-risk cases/referrals: 2–4 hrs/case

• Funding eligibility: approx. 1 hour per case ad hoc

• Care complaints: 2–4 hrs/case (plus 3–5 hrs/case for formal investigations)

The above times are estimates during peak application periods. General expectation approx. 3-5 hours a week

“Solta o Jogo” is a vibrant cultural competition and festival celebrating Brazilian heritage through Capoeira, music, dance, acrobatics, and a Brazilian arts & crafts fair. Hosted at Kingston University Townhouse, the event invites the community to participate in free performances, workshops, and exhibitions promoting cross-cultural understanding.

As part of this initiative, we are seeking a Personal Assistant to support daily coordination, scheduling, and communication tasks across departments. This remote volunteer opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and looking to gain experience in nonprofit administration while contributing to a meaningful community-driven programme. 

Position Overview:
The Personal Assistant will be responsible for organising meetings, managing calendars, supporting internal communications, and assisting in day-to-day administrative operations. For many of the children in our programme, OOEF is the first time they have ever seen a live musician or held an instrument. We bring guest musicians into school to perform for them and help them try instruments from our own collection. It is one of our most popular sessions — and one of the most memorable things you are likely to do as a volunteer. Any instrument welcome. Any genre. Amateur or professional. We will sort the instruments — you just need to bring yourself and your music.

About the role

Orchestra of Everything Foundation (OOEF) delivers free, immersive music education to around 250 children aged 7–11 at St Michael's Junior School in Twerton and Whiteway — two schools in nationally ranked deprived communities. Our impact is off the scale: school leaders tell us that 86% of children show improved attitudes to learning across all subjects, and we have been instrumental in a 39% reduction in pupil suspensions. Our work has caught the attention of the Department for Education, and Bath Spa University now incorporates our model into teacher training.

You might visit once or come back regularly. You might play solo, with a colleague, or as part of an ensemble. Sessions are supervised alongside OOEF staff and volunteers throughout — you will never be alone with children. The children's reaction — curiosity, delight, the moment a sound comes out of an instrument for the first time — is something volunteers consistently describe as one of the most joyful experiences of their lives.

What you'll bring

• The ability to play an instrument or sing to a standard you are comfortable demonstrating

• Warmth and confidence engaging with groups of primary-school-age children

• A love of sharing music — the enthusiasm is as important as the skill

Time commitment

Guest musician sessions are fully ad hoc — we confirm dates that suit you. A typical visit is around 1-2 hours. Some musicians come individually; others come as part of ensembles, university music societies or via employer volunteering programmes. There is no minimum commitment — one visit is genuinely valuable.

What will you be doing?

SPORT 4 SUCCESS is looking for an experienced marketing or social media professional to lead the development of our marketing strategy and improve how we communicate our work.

We are a UK-based charity that uses sport to help young people develop life skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership. We have delivered a growing number of programmes and events, but our marketing and social media have not developed at the same pace as our delivery.

The volunteer will take leadership of our overall marketing direction, with support from trustees and less experienced volunteers who can help with content creation and delivery.

• Advising on the best platforms, audiences and types of content for the charity

This is a strategic and hands-on role. The volunteer will have freedom to shape our approach and test new ideas, while working closely with the charity’s trustees and wider team.

We are looking for someone with at least three years of professional experience in marketing, social media, communications, branding, content strategy or a related area.

The role is unpaid, UK-based and expected to require around two hours per week, with flexibility around when the work is completed.

The most important requirement is the ability to develop a clear, practical marketing strategy and turn it into consistent activity. You should be comfortable taking ownership of the charity’s marketing direction while working collaboratively with trustees and other volunteers.

Our ideal volunteer will have:

• Experience creating and implementing marketing or social media strategies
• A strong understanding of social media platforms, audiences and content formats
• The ability to create engaging written and visual content, or provide clear creative direction to others
• Strong written communication and storytelling skills
• The confidence to introduce new ideas and advise a small charity on its marketing priorities

Experience in the charity, education, youth or sports sectors would be useful, but it is not required. Experience supporting a growing organisation, working with volunteers or developing a brand would also be valuable.

You should be creative, reliable and comfortable working within a small team. We are looking for someone who will listen to different perspectives but can also make clear recommendations and lead the marketing approach.

You do not need to produce every piece of content yourself. Other volunteers and team members can support delivery. However, you should be able to set the direction, establish suitable processes and provide constructive guidance.

An interest in helping young people develop their skills and future opportunities through sport and education would be a strong fit with our work.

Strong marketing will help SPORT 4 SUCCESS reach more young people, schools, delivery partners, funders and volunteers.

At present, much of our impact happens through our programmes, events and direct relationships, but we do not communicate that impact consistently. This limits our ability to build awareness, attract support and show the value of our work.

Your work would help us create a clearer identity, communicate our purpose more effectively and build a consistent presence across our social media and wider marketing channels.

A stronger strategy would help us:

• Reach more schools and youth organisations
• Attract volunteers with the skills needed to grow the charity
• Build relationships with sports organisations and corporate partners
• Support fundraising and sponsorship activity
• Promote programmes and events
• Share evidence of our impact
• Give young people and schools a stronger voice in our communications

The role will also help us move away from ad hoc marketing and towards a structured approach that the wider team can follow.

As a small charity, this role would have direct influence. The volunteer’s ideas and recommendations would shape how SPORT 4 SUCCESS presents itself, communicates its work and grows over the next stage of its development.

The result will be a stronger platform for helping more young people build skills, confidence and future opportunities through sport and education.

The Role

We are seeking Peer Volunteers to support in designing and facilitating peer-led psychoeducation groups addressing root causes of gambling and a safe environment for loved ones to build meaningful peer connections. You will be joining a small team and be expected to work in partnership with your peer support workers and service lead. We are seeking autonomous, creative individuals with experiences of working or lived experience of behaviours around addiction.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has lived experience of addiction and/or mental health challenges
• Are a non-judgmental and friendly individual 
• To be able to provide a welcoming, authentic, and positive experience for all, being inclusive and embracing diversity 
• To feel comfortable engaging with people with addiction, mental health challenges / difficult life experiences, by validating strengths and experiences and using empowering language to overcome negative self-talk 
• Are empathic and understands the stigma / social bias's surrounding addiction and mental health 
• Are willing to tap into their lived experiences and use their stories to inspire hope in others when appropriate 
• Are comfortable with co-producing and co-facilitating peer led workshops 
• To assist the team with admin and planning
• Are able to take on any ad hoc admin/support responsibilities
• Knowledge around safeguarding policies and procedures 
• Knowledge and experience of risk management

Time commitment:

• Flexible hours between Monday-Friday. We are looking for someone to commit to a minimum of at least 1 or 2 activities a week.
• We will provide volunteers with an induction, training, and ongoing support to support them in the role.

We are looking to appoint a Trustee to our Board with skills specifically focused on Safeguarding Adults & Children.

Alongside the Lead Safeguarding Trustee you will provide independent oversight, expert advise and strategic challenge to ensure the organisation upholds the highest standards in safeguarding our staff and our service users of women, young women and children. The role is central in promoting a safe culture and holding the Executive Team accountable for the effectiveness of safeguarding practices and risk management.

You will bring significant experience in safeguarding leadership, regulation or governance (in education, health, social care or the charity sector). You will have a strong understanding of legal duties and statutory guidance on safeguarding and the ability to provide strategic oversight and constructive challenge at Board level.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our experienced and committed Board.

You will join a dedicated and skilled group of Trustees and support the charity through a significant period of growth. Our staff team now includes over 150 skilled and passionate women across our programmes and our 10 women's’ centres in London and the South and East of England.

Time commitment

• Five Board meetings per year (in person in Hammersmith west London), plus membership of at least one board sub-committee (four meetings a year online)

• Ad hoc availability as matters arise (by telephone)

• Participate in one strategy away day each year (on a Saturday, usually held in January)

• Commit to the Board of Trustees for at least three years

• Note - the Chair of the Fundraising, Business Development and Communications Committee will be expected to chair a committee meeting four times a year (online) in addition to the Board meetings

The statutory duties of a trustee

• To ensure the organisation complies with its governing document in the articles of association

• To ensure that the organisation pursues its objectives as defined in its governing document

• To ensure the organisation applies its resources exclusively in pursuance of its objectives - the charity must not spend money on activities which are not included in its own objectives, no matter how charitable and worthwhile those activities are

• To contribute actively to the Board of Trustees' role in giving firm strategic direction to the organisation, setting overall policy, defining goals and setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets

• To safeguard the good name and values of the organisation

• To ensure the effective and efficient administration of the organisation

• To ensure the financial stability of the organisation

• To protect and manage the property of the organisation and to ensure the proper investment of the organisation's funds

• To appoint the Chief Executive and monitor their performance

In addition with other trustees to hold the charity in trust for current and future beneficiaries by:

• Ensuring that Advance has a clear vision, mission and strategic direction and is focused on achieving these

• Being responsible for the performance of the charity and for its corporate behaviour; ensuring that the charity complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

• Acting as guardians of the charity’s assets, both tangible and intangible, taking all due care over their security, deployment and proper application

• Ensuring that the charity’s governance is of the highest possible standard

As well as the various statutory duties, any trustee should make full use of any specific skills, knowledge or experience to help the board make good decisions. We are looking for team members who can commit for a minimum of 10 weeks, with adaptable profiles and who have the enthusiasm and energy we need to provide support in various areas across the organisation.

In this generalist role, you will find yourself responsible for a variety of tasks, helping to ensure that both our programme activities and day-to-day operations run smoothly. Second Tree works in a transparent way, in a challenging and changeable situation in the field; therefore, an ability to learn quickly and be open to feedback is vital. 

Your role would include:

The possible tasks included below are not exhaustive or rigidly defined; an exact role profile is dependent on the skill set of individual applicants. An average day might see you talking to students in a camp to tell them about a new class, or supporting the writing of a grant proposal. Tasks could loosely fall within 4 key areas:

Programmes

• Supporting programme coordinators in maintaining the day to day running of their activities with the Youth or Adult Education Programmes

• Supporting our children’s teachers or workshop facilitators in the planning or delivery of classes or excursions outside of camps

• Communicating key messages about our programmes to our students in camps

Admin, Finance & Logistics

• Supporting our management team in liaising with external partners

• Maintaining organisation-wide financial processes

• Coordinating the arrival and housing of incoming team members

Grants & Partnerships

• Supporting in the identification of relevant grants

• Supporting in grant writing activities

 Communications & Fundraising

• Contributing to the written/visual content of Second Tree’s social media output

• Developing social media strategies to expand our reach and impact

• Producing regular reports on performance

• Maintaining our website

• Supporting the planning and implementation of Second Tree’s fundraising initiatives, such as campaigns

• Organising and maintaining regular communications with Second Tree’s donors (newsletters, thank you letters)

You should be able to:

• Be accountable and efficient, making sure that tasks that you take up are completed on the agreed timeframe

• Be honest and transparent, being able to give and receive feedback in the most straightforward way possible

• Care for people; the interests of the people we work with should always be your first concern

• Learn quickly, managing a wide-ranging and intense workload
