Volunteer Opportunity: CV Reviewer for Sixth Form Students

Are you passionate about helping young people kickstart their careers? Do you have experience in HR or recruitment and an understanding of early careers requirements? If so, we’d love for you to join our team!

We’re looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to review and provide feedback on sixth form students’ CVs, ensuring they are tailored to the positions they’re applying for. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping students stand out and secure opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Volunteer Physio or Sports Therapist (Up to 3 hours/week)

Ideal for 3rd Year+ Students

Ready to kickstart your career in sports therapy or physiotherapy? 
Kenningwell United WFC is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Physio or Sports Therapist** to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on experience supporting women’s football—and make a genuine impact on player wellbeing.

What you’ll do:
- Provide pitch-side support at matches and training sessions, managing minor injuries and delivering first aid
- Advise players on injury prevention, recovery, and general wellbeing
- Keep straightforward records and communicate clearly with coaching staff
- Be an essential part of our club’s commitment to player health and safety

What we’re looking for:
- Currently a 3rd year (or above) student in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy
- Solid understanding of basic sports injuries and first aid
- Friendly, approachable, and proactive communicator
- Passionate about women’s football and community sport
- Able to volunteer up to 3 hours per week (with flexibility for your schedule)

Dancers’ Career Development (DCD), the national charity that enables and empowers dancers to thrive professionally and personally leading up to and beyond their performance careers, seek two new Trustees to join our welcoming and experienced Board.

We are looking for people with lived professional dance experience or senior management experience in the performing arts, with a broad knowledge of the dance sector.

Trustees work closely with the Chair, fellow Trustees and the Executive Director to set and deliver DCD’s strategic priorities and realise the organisation’s charitable objectives. 

No former Governance experience is required. The role of a Trustee is voluntary (unpaid). The time commitment is approximately two days a year.

Orpheus is seeking a creative professional to join Level Up, our mentoring programme for young disabled adults beginning their journey in the creative industries.

This role is an opportunity to support an emerging artist to build confidence, develop their creative practice, and navigate the industry. We welcome mentors from all creative backgrounds, including design, fashion, film, animation, theatre, writing, music, dance, and more.  On this occasion we are seeking someone with experience in fashion, retail, styling, and voice performance, particularly those specialising in character driven performances for animation, gaming, audio dramas, and related media.

About the role

You’ll work one‑to‑one with a participant, offering guidance, industry insight, and practical support. You’ll help them set goals, explore opportunities, grow their networks, and develop their creative portfolio. We are looking for someone who understands and values the social model of disability and is committed to inclusive practice.

Our Trustees support all aspects of our work, with the aim of providing strategic support, governance and assurance that enables us to continue to deliver our core service and increase the number of women we can support into work by dressing and coaching women for interview and job success. 

The time commitment for this voluntary, unpaid role is an average of a day a month, with more time given at busy periods of the year. There will be a requirement to attend board meetings, with some trustees also sitting on subcommittees that meet around 4 times a year. In addition, there are events to attend and occasional additional duties to support our wider work.
