Sex Education Forum is the national voice of relationships and sex education (RSE) in England, with youth involvement at the heart of everything we do. Having launched our new strategy for 2026-30 we now have an incredible opportunity to join our Board and help achieve our plans! .

This is a pivotal moment for our organisation and for the sector. Universal RSE provision in schools is entering a new phase under updated statutory guidance. Over the next five years our work will be focused on four pillars: convening the sector, communicating about RSE, equipping educators and innovating to address gaps. Our plans involve advocating for RSE beyond school and equipping trusted adults in supporting children and young people, particularly those who are marginalised, with high quality, inclusive RSE.

Being a trustee is a voluntary role open to anyone of 18+ years old. Trustees play a vital role in helping us grow sustainably and increasing our impact. We’re particularly keen to hear from people with expertise in:
• Fundraising and business development
• Working with marginalised, minoritised and racialised groups
• Digital and IT / CRM systems

Previous trustee experience is not essential. If you are committed to inclusive, evidence-based RSE for all children and young people this could be for you! 

Are you passionate about helping others and skilled with digital tools? TVS is a small volunteer-led charity working with rural schools in South Africa to empower vulnerable young people through education. We are recruiting a team of volunteers and are searching for dedicated individuals to support our charity’s digital fundraising efforts.

As a volunteer digital fundraiser you would contribute towards unlocking potential and shaping a brighter future for children living in poverty in South Africa. Your responsibilities would include one or more of the following:

Website & Platform Maintenance: Updating online donation pages, using Content Management Systems (CMS), and ensuring tools like JustGiving or Easyfundraising are effective.

The Baobab Centre supports young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced severe human rights abuses and arrived in the UK as unaccompanied minors. Our work focuses on rehabilitation and justice, providing long-term, holistic support to help young people heal from trauma and rebuild their lives.

Saving Strays is looking for a dynamic fundraising co-ordinator with experience in grass roots and event fundraising to help take our team of dedicated fundraising volunteers to the next level! Role Summary

As the Fundraising Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping create and implementing strategies to fundraise from both existing and new sources (individuals, mosques, grants etc.) with the aim of securing the long-term financial stability of Roots Academy.

Key tasks

Fundraising Planning:

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve income goals.

Campaign Management:

Proposal Development:

• Research trusts, foundations and corporations for grant opportunities.
• Work with the team to develop proposals, supporting with grant writing when needed.

Budget Oversight:

• Work closely with the finance team to monitor fundraising budgets, expenditure, and financial projections.

Donor Relations:

• Support with Donor Communications in activities related to donor relationship management and stewardship.

Role summary

St Helena is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to be part of their fundraising team, supporting events and initiatives in their local areas to help raise awareness and much needed funds. About TreeAction UK

Tree Action UK is a not for profit community initiative dedicated to restoring local green spaces through tree planting and environmental care.

We plant trees in schools, colleges and on public land in Sussex. Our projects help support environmental education for young people, improve our local environment and enhance community wellbeing.

About the Charity

Since 2014, Barking Mad Dog Rescue has been rescuing and rehoming hundreds of abandoned dogs and cats from the Castelu area in Constanta, Romania. We have provided veterinary care and second chances to animals in desperate nee, but our work is just beginning.

We are a lean, committed team of passionate volunteers working remotely across the UK, supporting a dedicated team working on the ground in rural Romania, where resources are severely limited and where access to modern infrastructure is precarious. We now need to enhance our resources to help us achieve our aims of transforming animal welfare in Castelu, educating the local community about responsible and compassionate pet ownership, and building sustainable solutions to the stray animal crisis.

Role Overview

As our Fundraising Lead, you will play a vital role to help deliver BMDR’s mission, driving the development and delivery of the charity’s fundraising strategy and all related projects and materials.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will design and help us implement a multi‑channel fundraising strategy that includes regular giving, corporate sponsorships, legacy gifts and other income‑generating programmes.
