Job description

Are you passionate about enabling others to have an impact in their community? Are you able to lead the delivery of volunteer support services?

Do you want to ensure your local St John Network enables volunteers to deliver community activity? If this sounds like you, then you could be the next Network Volunteering Services Lead for your local St John Network

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We need people who have a passion for helping others, care about their communities and want to make a difference, supporting them to become safe and more resilient by enabling our volunteers and staff to have the right equipment and resources to do the job.

As a Volunteering Services Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery of volunteering support activities within the network, from the planning and delivery of recruitment drives, to helping volunteers in your network manage their data and training, to the delivery of welfare, retention, and recognition activities.

If you are successful you will need to undertake relevant training for the role, details of which will be discussed after you have been appointed.
