Pact (the Prison Advice & Care Trust) is a pioneering national charity that supports individuals in custody, those with criminal convictions in the community, and their families. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Development Officer to join our Families Together Project in South Yorkshire.

About the role

The Development Officer will be responsible for delivering Family Forums within HMP Lindholme and HMP Moorland, supporting the Development Manager with Professionals Forums and training, and engaging with families and partner agencies in the community. This role plays a vital part in improving the lives of people impacted by imprisonment by fostering engagement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver monthly Family Forums within each prison.
• Engage families and ensure their voices are heard.
• Monitor and track progress from Family Forums.
• Build relationships with prison departments and community agencies.
• Support logistics for Professionals Forums and other events.
• Recruit and manage volunteers with a person-centred approach.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, a commitment to equity and inclusion, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Experience in working with families affected by imprisonment and knowledge of safeguarding and data protection policies are desirable.

At Scripture Union, we’re looking for two experienced and driven fundraisers to join our team. The fundraising team work to a target of around £2m per year, generated from a range of channels and segments. We’re looking for two more people to grow this team as we expand our mission to reveal Jesus to the younger generations in England and Wales. 

About the roles    

We’re looking for two fundraisers to tackle the following areas: 

• Individual Giving, working to maintain and grow our portfolio of donors giving between £10pa -  £1,500 pa each.

• Fundraising Innovation, coming up with fresh new ideas that will generate more income for the mission that take us beyond our tried and tested fundraising activities. 

Between them, the two roles account for 1.8 FTE, and we’re flexible about how that’s allocated. It could be that both roles work 4.5 days a week each, or one full time and the other four days. We’re open to suggestions as we seek the right candidates for the team.

The salary for both roles will be £31,500 - £34,800  per annum for an FTE.

• Individual Giving: Grow income from individual donors through the management of campaigns, regular giving and invitations to increase gifts from general individual donors and mid-level donors. Work to acquire and retain new donors and reactivate lapsed donors. 

• Fundraising Innovation: Develop, trial and implement new and innovative approaches to income generation, contributing to our annual target through new strategic ideas. Work with the fundraising team to ensure these activities align with our fundraising strategy and relationships with grant making trusts, major donors and legacy income.

The Events Officer will be responsbile for delivering a wide range of events to our members such as training courses and the annual conference, and must be a highly organised and enthusiastic individual working in collaboration and partnership with one other part time Events Officer. Job Purpose

BSR education programme is a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, providing updates on the essentials needed to deliver top-quality care for patients and ensuring professional development opportunities.  

This role sits within the Education team who are responsible for delivering BSR’s educational activity. Working alongside the Head of Education, the Events and Education Manager, Event Executive and the Digital Events Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of a range of education courses, webinars, bursary schemes and digital learning activities.  You will work with the team to support the work of our Education Committee, Trainee Committee and Digital Learning Board.  

This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more hands-on experience in planning and executing a variety of educational events and activities and liaising with multiple stakeholders. Main Responsibilties 

Event & Course Management 

• Lead on course and webinar registration processes, including delegate bookings, communications, data management and reporting, and producing delegate materials.

Marketing & Communications

About The Role

Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute towards Poppyscotlands annual Poppy Appeal?

We’re looking for a Temporary Administration Assistant to join us for the Poppy Appeal 2025, supporting one of the UK’s best-known and most meaningful fundraising campaigns. This is a great opportunity to play a key part in helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring our teams and volunteers have the support they need to make this year’s Appeal a success.

Duties will include:

- Data entry - logging donor payments, recording communications and orders received from existing volunteers and new supporters and creating new records
- Mailing out letters and forms
- Interacting with members of the public and volunteers by email and on the telephone ensuring the charity’s high standards of customer service are maintained
- Coordinating selected Poppy Appeal collection activities at various venues in and around the Greater Glasgow area between 20th October – 11th November
- Banking and cash handling
- Overseeing the distribution schedule of the Temporary Drivers on a daily basis
- Occasionally accompanying the Driver whilst delivering and collecting in Central Glasgow and other areas of West Scotland
- Supporting other members of the fundraising team with other administrative tasks when required
- Participating in Poppy Appeal collections at various venues around Glasgow on Saturday 8th November 2025

You will have demonstrable experience using various IT systems (including Microsoft Office and data entry) and will be a confident communicator. You will have the ability to work to deadlines and offer a flexible approach in your work to the changing needs of the Poppy Appeal. A current driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Reporting to the Poppy Appeal Organiser, this role is offered on a basic contract of 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 3.30pm, with some flexibility required to meet business needs. Occasional weekend work may be necessary, including Saturday 8th November, 9.00am - 4.30pm.

Centre 33 offers a free and confidential counselling service to young people aged 13-25, living in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. We have a team of volunteer counsellors / therapists, from a range of modalities and backgrounds, some of whom are on clinical placement and others fully qualified. We also have a substantial team of Mental Health & Counselling Project Workers who are qualified to a minimum of Level 4 and support young people experiencing a range of difficulties, including more complex presentations that sit outside of the statutory offer. Case work includes ongoing counselling (in person, telephone and Zoom)- applying a short term model of 6 sessions (with option to extend to 12 in specific cases) alongside assessment and a ‘single session thinking’ approach.

Young people can access our counselling provision via our ‘Someone to Talk to Service’ which offers a ‘drop in’ triage to gain a holistic understanding of needs prior to joining a waiting list for intervention. Centre 33 also sits within the ‘YOUnited’ partnership- a single point of access for professional referrals where we work closely with CPFT, CCS and Ormiston Families to ensure needs are meet by the appropriate service.

In addition to the counselling service, we have other front line teams holding complex case work of young people experiencing mental health difficulties.

Clinical Supervisor Role Description

Centre 33’s Clinical Supervisors are self-employed consultants, remunerated on an hourly basis for their work with us.

Principle Duties

The supervisor’s primary responsibility is to provide supervisees with professional consultancy for their work. Supervisors are expected to:

Offer regular fortnightly supervision to counsellors - a total of approx. 20 hours per year per counsellor.

Oversee the professional integrity of the work the counsellor is doing. ·

Be a resource for the professional development of the counsellor and to identify training needs for individual counsellors or the group as a whole. ·

Take part in six month probationary review of new counsellors and annual appraisal of counsellors. ·

Engage in annual 121 meetings with Clinical Lead to review supervisory practice.

Keep professional boundaries about confidentiality appropriately within Centre 33 and outside it, and assist the counsellor to do so too.

Be familiar with and act within the policies, guidelines and ethos of Centre 33 and the BACP code of ethics & practice, and to support the counsellor to do the same.

Be available to counsellors in crisis work, if required.

Liaise regularly with the MH&C Senior/Team Leads/Clinical leads and inform them of any concerns (s)he may have about the supervisee's competence, engagement or professionalism.

Attend bi- monthly Supervisors’ meetings and feedback on processes and policies Centre 33 develops in relation the Mental Health and Counselling work · Ensure that all supervisory administration is undertaken as appropriate

Ensure their own supervision, professional development, accreditation or professional registration requirements are fulfilled with particular focus in remaining updated on themes effecting clients in the C33 age range.

Maintain excellent standards of communication and organisation around sessions. Ensure supervision sessions are scheduled in a clear and timely manner and cancellations, absences and annual leave are communicated appropriately to both supervisee and Clinical Lead.

Be open to offer supervision where deemed appropriate to non-clinical staff either on ad-hoc single session or ongoing basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and strong Administrator, preferably with HR recruitment and administrative experience; to support our newly formed people-oriented team.
