Job description

The Marylebone Project is one of the largest women’s hostels in the UK for women affected by homelessness. Those we support are often affected by substance misuse, unemployment, domestic violence and mental health issues. Whatever their story, we aim for the same ending; self-esteem, employment and independent living. We do this by providing shelter, education and employment opportunities, spiritual space and events in a welcoming and secure environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal sensitively with people
  • experience of data entry and finance systems
  • good organisational and communication skills
  • the ability to work under pressure

As part of the admin team, this role plays an active part in ensuring the team can deliver the various functions of the department and you therefore may be required to cover for other members of the team in the service assistant role and reception. This successful candidate will need to be a strong team player, who is willing to get stuck in and happy to help where needed.
