We are seeking to expand our committed team of Programme Coordinators and Senior Coordinators who work directly with young people, supporting them to discover and achieve their best next step on their route to a successful career.

Our Coordinators work with young people studying in schools and colleges who face barriers to higher education and employment. Working closely with Careers Leads, Pastoral Support Workers and Referral Partners this role requires excellent relationship management skills to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and young people as well as local construction and built environment employers who are fundamental to the successful delivery of inspiring world of work programmes.

About You

What we’re looking for in our new Coordinator(s) includes:

· Enthusiastic about connecting young people to opportunities, particularly those facing barriers to work.

· Have a ‘can-do’ attitude, as a small charity you will be expected to get involved in a variety of our programmes and activities – including development of our programmes and processes

· Be able to work within established programme structures, but still be responsive to the individual needs of employers and young people

· IT literate and digitally savvy

You will provide clinical direction and maintain oversight of elop’s counselling services, bringing understanding and experience of delivering trauma-informed approaches to support the emotional health and psychological wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people.

You will oversee and contribute to clinical operational responsibilities, service coordination and delivery, ensuring a professional, safe, smooth running, efficient and well managed service is maintained.   You will work alongside the senior leadership team across both strategic and clinical operational levels ensuring lead responsibilities for our counselling teams and services. Working collaboratively with the senior leadership team, implementing clinical delivery decisions, ensuring the counselling service effectively maintains ethical and professional standards of practice and communication across key staff, other agencies and service users.

About Rockinghorse Children’s Charity

Rockinghorse Children’s Charity supports sick and disabled children across Sussex. We support babies, children and young people, along with their families, at The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and all of the specialist children’s wards and baby units throughout Sussex. 

We deliver and fund projects that enable doctors and nurses to do more. All of projects are led by the needs of children and young people and their families – the lifesaving medical equipment, the support for parents and families, the toys for children spending time in hospitals across Sussex, the environments and spaces that help children feel more at home when they are in hospital and additional staff to make sure children get the best possible care when they are unwell. 

Originally set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann, we have been supporting children for more than 55 years, and in that time, we have supported nearly a million children and their families. As the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, including the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, we work with the NHS, charity partners and the Sussex community to ensure children can be children no matter now sick they are.

About the Role

In 2025 we launched our five-year strategic plan, which prioritised our activities to enable us to support more babies, children and teenagers. As we enter the final year of this strategy the charity continues to expand and develop its projects and services children all over Sussex.

This role will support the Head of Finance & Operations and be responsible for organising and managing the charity’s volunteers and the volunteer programme, working across the charity to ensure we have the right individuals to support our work. Are you a strategic marketing leader with a passion for making a difference? Blood Cancer UK is looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Manager to manage a high-performing team, deliver insight-led, multi-channel campaigns, and make a real difference to the lives of people affected by blood cancer. This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for impactful direct marketing campaigns that grow individual giving and engage supporters. 

Based in London with hybrid working options (2–4 days per month in the office, may increase dependent on business needs), this role offers the opportunity to lead a talented team, innovate with digital channels, and champion campaigns that engage and inspire supporters.
