As Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will:

• create and coordinate the trusts and foundations strategy focused on driving growth and income;
• personally manage a portfolio of trusts, foundations and other grant funders giving 6- and 7-figure gifts, ensuring you deliver fantastic stewardship and reporting;
• oversee and develop a high value T&F pipeline, proactively cultivating and building relationships with potential funders;
• produce compelling funding proposals, applications and cases for support to secure transformational restricted and unrestricted donations;
• provide leadership and support to the Philanthropy Coordinator – Trusts & Foundations;
• work closely with the rest of the Philanthropy team to identify and maximise the lifetime support of donors and partners.

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Demonstrable experience of managing and securing 6-figure+, multi-year funding from a range of trusts, foundations and statutory funders
• Proven experience of managing and developing a pipeline of funders
• Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive communication skills, with ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders of all levels
• Line management experience, and keen interest in motivating and developing direct reports
• A creative flare, team player, proactive and tenacious
• Passion for the arts, sciences and the work of the Royal Albert Hall

Missing People’s Policy and Research Team is a small team with a big impact, both within the charity and externally. CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) to join our small but dynamic Fundraising team.

The role requires excellent donor care and stewardship skills. All forms of communication will be required including the proactive use of digital channels such as the website and social media platforms.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role will also support the Head of Income in the delivery of a legacy and major donor program.

You will develop and deliver excellent stewardship programmes that drive retention by deepening audience understanding of the challenges that people affected by cleft face and the impact that their donations make. Using data and insight, you’ll deliver compelling campaigns, with people affected by cleft right at the centre. You’ll use creative tools and techniques to demonstrate impact and inspire future action.

About the Foundation:

The Avicenna Foundation was set up in 2023 to to support outstanding young British Muslims by providing them with scholarships for their undergraduate degree. The scholarships are mainly focused on awarding scholarships in the Social Sciences and Humanities for those interested in politics, policy-making and becoming agents of positive change.

Alongside the scholarship, the Avicenna Foundation runs a development programme for the scholars to expand their skills and abilities in various areas like leadership, communication and collaboration.

The Foundation has developed immensely in the first year with the launch of the charity; onboarding of it’s first cohort of 30 scholars and the development of a leadership programme.  It now needs propelling into the next stage as the charity develops to ensure a robust charity structure and programme in place.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the charity, and manage changes required within programmes and activities as a result of changing external landscapes or contexts.

- Implement strategies for advertising the scholarships, receiving and reviewing applications, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and making final selection decisions. Some of these things are already in place and may need reviewing and enhancing.

- Work with the Scholar Development Coordinator to oversee the leadership development programme, provide guidance and help the programme to grow.

- Maintain regular communication with the scholars, their progress, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

- Ensure programme objectives and outcomes align with the overall strategy and aims of the Foundation, and are realistic and achievable within timeframes and budgets.

- Organise any events, programmes necessary to the scholars.

- Use data to track progress and drive improvement; proactively manage risks; and ensure effective use of the Foundation’s resources and budgets allocated to you.

Governance:

You’ll have experience of working in a safeguarding customer-facing environment within the Charity or Public Service sectors. You’ll ideally have had experience in supporting vulnerable people in person, over the phone and/or online. 

An understanding of safeguarding within the charity or public service sectors is essential.

ISEAL is offering a new role for aspiring sustainability professionals who are comfortable with and excited by working with challenging topics around sustainability standards. The role will provide valuable exposure to ISEAL’s approach to working with standards systems and partners in business and government to catalyse global efforts on critical social, economic, and environmental sustainability issues. If you are looking to apply your existing project support, administration and writing skills, we can provide you with excellent insights and networks that will benefit your progress.

ISEAL supports sustainability standards and similar market-based sustainability systems to improve their impacts on people and planet. ISEAL’s Credibility Principles and Codes of Good Practice are used globally to guide the development of credible sustainability systems and to evaluate the credibility of sustainability claims. Our Innovations workstreams explore and pilot new solutions to operational and strategic challenges sustainability standards face. The position will be critical to the coordination of projects and engagement with ISEAL members on system innovation working on sustainability topics such as farmer livelihoods, sustainable landscapes, and the bio-economy.  Specific project assignments will change over time as our project portfolio evolves.

ISEAL is co-creating knowledge and content, often working on topics where good practice and solutions have not yet been identified.  The coordinator will be part of this journey of peer-to-peer learning, pilot testing, and discovery. The role will collaborate with different ISEAL teams and be in contact with ISEAL community member / partner organisations, making this an excellent opportunity to learn about a wide range of initiatives.

The key responsibilities we entrust you with

Project support

• Contribute to outreach to project stakeholders, Community Members, partners & event attendees, answering and directing queries and scheduling appointments and virtual/ in-person meetings
• Organise meeting logistics, agenda preparation, notetaking, audio recording and the tracking and implementation of follow up actions and communications
• Carry out background research, review documents, and gather and analyse information using templates and tools such as Excel
• Coordinate project processes, including implementing procurement procedures, drafting contracts with consultants (based on ISEAL templates) and maintaining project-related systems
• Maintain web pages related to event and programme activities and support email and social media campaigns; upload blogs, documents, and resources
• Support drafting and production of relevant newsletters, website articles, and report sections
• Proof-read, edit, design, and format documents in Word and Powerpoint, using ISEAL templates

Essential attributes, skills & knowledge

• Confidence in communications with peers and external partners, comfortable in public speaking situations (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)

Home-Start Lambeth offers a unique service, recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers to support families with pre-school children on a regular basis. Our staff and volunteers provide friendship and practical help to families experiencing stress or difficulties, including poverty, post-natal depression, domestic abuse, mental ill-health, isolation, and other challenges leading to crisis.

We are advertising for a Family Coordinator to join our small, amazing charity. Working alongside our team of Family Coordinators, you will oversee the work of our home-visiting volunteers, ensuring that the support they provide to families is targeted, high quality and empowers them to reach their goals.

You will also lead the delivery of our domestic abuse work. This includes the development and delivery of the Freedom Programme; a 7-week course to help survivors of domestic abuse understand and recover from their experiences. 

We are looking for a well-organised person, familiar with office systems, who can demonstrate empathy and good communication and interpersonal skills. Parenting experience, experience of working with disadvantaged families and survivors of domestic abuse would be advantageous.

This role involves significant amounts of travel around Lambeth visiting families and attending meetings. Reasonable travel expenses, other than from home to base, will be reimbursed. Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.
