Main Purpose of the Role:
To ensure the charity operates within a robust governance framework and maintains high standards of compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Governance and Compliance
- Maintain and update governance policies and registers, and development of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison for Board governance matters, including preparing Board papers, ensuring timely reporting and minuting.
- Monitor compliance with charity law, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate annual policy reviews and ensure staff adherence.
- Risk and Audit
- Maintain and update the organisational risk register for quarterly Board review.

- Operational Efficiency

Overview of Role:
Church Army is looking for an experienced ‘Apprenticeship Programme Lead’ to implement, support and develop our Youth Ministry Apprenticeship Programme, focusing on developing practitioners to inhabit the qualities outlined in the Ministerial Formation Framework.
Church Army has been awarded funding by the Church of England’s Resourcing Ministerial Formation Innovation Fund and the 30K Project to develop a three-year pilot project to develop Level 3 Apprenticeship Training for Church Based Youth Workers. This is part of the Church of England’s 30K Project, to raise up 30,000 new children and youth ministers (both voluntary and employed) by 2030.
The postholder will manage programme delivery, resources, quality assurance, assessment, and reporting, and will act as the main liaison with dioceses, training providers, and National Church Institutions, including using the Church of England grant management system. You will contribute to the design and review of training pathways, teach and assess apprentices, and oversee Ministerial Formation Tutors. You will ensure that training is aligned with emerging practice and national strategy.
Salary: £46,085 per annum
Hours:37.5 per week
Pension: Church Army is an auto enrolment pension employer. You will be assessed under pension auto enrolment criteria.

Pancreatic Cancer Action is a national charity, dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. This post has a pivotal role to play in delivering our mission by increasing brand visibility, raising awareness amongst all our audiences and supporting the generation of income across the UK.
This exciting role will lead all our digital marketing channels and activities, with responsibility for delivering high-quality, creative and engaging content to our digital audiences. Paid Media
- This is a vital and rapidly growing area for the charity, and this role will manage all paid-for digital marketing, including lead generation and acquisition (Meta, Google, etc.).
- Create advertising campaigns and ensure effective tracking, monitoring, improvements, evaluation, and reporting of campaigns.
- Oversee our Google Ads grant (PPC) and (CRO) Google Tag Manager.
- Manage our main Google Ads account and launch Search, Display, and YouTube advertising for our digital-first Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month campaign.
- Deliver detailed advertising reporting using Looker Studio or other similar digital dashboards.
Digital content
- Manage and maintain the content calendar, including planning and scheduling content that aligns to both Pancreatic Cancer Action and project objectives.
- Create and manage the sourcing of high-quality content for blogs, website pages, social media posts, email content and for all other digital channels.
- Write, edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment to Pancreatic Cancer Action’s Text and Brand Guidelines.

Social media

About the Job
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will support the charity fundraising Team by generating appointments for the Fundraising Manager (Care Providers) and the Head of Fundraising (Corporate Organisations).

Overall Purpose
The Influencing Project Manager will work as part of a flexible team to develop, lead and manage the stakeholder engagement, influencing and communications elements of the Volunteering for Health programme.
Volunteering for Health is a £10million learning programme focused on testing, building and growing healthcare volunteering infrastructure. The programme has invested in fifteen systems across England who are navigating complex health systems to ensure that volunteering is embedded as a system wide NHS asset.
The team is responsible for developing and delivering the ‘learning and support’ and the ‘influencing and communications’ elements of the national programme, in partnership with NHS England and CW .
We have reached an exciting stage where we can turn our local learning into national change. By using the inspiring stories and impact from our programme, we want to show healthcare leaders what is possible. We are positioning our learnings to prove that volunteering infrastructure is a vital solution for a modern and sustainable health service aligned to the NHS 10-year Health Plan.
Overall Objectives
- Work collaboratively and strategically with a wide range of stakeholders including our member charities, NHS Trusts, VCSE organisations, funders, and government officials.
- Develop compelling narratives and high impact campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and mobilise stakeholders at every level.
- To identify and leverage cross-sector themes and opportunities to scale impact across health, social care, and the voluntary sector, underpinned by robust horizon scanning and a commitment to innovative, non-traditional problem solving.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Convene and engage stakeholders, including member charities, NHS trusts and employees, funders and evaluators, to co-produce plans collaboratively.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Provide support to funded partnerships, enabling their development and to become high performing.
- Represent the organisation externally, acting as a champion for NHS Charities Together and NHS charities.
