Our client provides retirement services to those who serve or work for the church. Both a regulated pension fund and registered charity, more than 44,000 people rely on them for their pensions. The board also supports 2,500 retired clergy with housing, including managing a national portfolio of 1,200 rented homes and Community Living options.
Supported by a multi-million pound grant from the wider church, they are setting up a new function responsible for engaging with clergy at all stages of life and ministry on their current and future plans, offering access to grants to kick-start saving, bespoke advice at key life stages and tailored products that will provide people more choice about their future. As part of this new function, they are now recruiting for a proactive, empathetic Regional Adviser to deliver personalised support to clergy based across the South West region, helping them with day-to-day financial wellbeing matters, and retirement planning.
Working across Dioceses operating across the South West, you will proactively lead local engagement with clergy through structured, personalised one-to-one conversations, events and outreach, helping to connect individuals with expert advice, guidance, products and services that support their current and future financial plans. As a key point of contact for individuals and dioceses in your region, you’ll champion the needs and experiences of clergy, helping to build confidence about what the future might hold, and connecting people to the right information, products, specialists or local support. You will also have experience of planning and delivering local events, workshops or learning sessions. Overall, you will be an organised, proactive self-starter, comfortable working autonomously, managing a varied workload and prioritising fieldwork alongside virtual delivery.

In this role, you’ll:

Provide clinical expertise and input on a distinct project with a service improvement focus related to the UK Parkinson’s Audit.
Act as an ambassador for the Excellence Network.

What you’ll bring:
Be a UK-based clinical healthcare professional, working in Parkinson’s or with extensive interest and expertise in the condition, with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills. Healthcare professionals living with Parkinson’s are also encouraged to apply.
Have a good understanding of the landscape of health and social care delivery, education and workforce development to support the strategic aims and objectives of Parkinson’s UK.
Be skilled in sharing insight and lived experience with a range of stakeholders to help inform decision making.
Have an understanding of clinical audit processes. Experience of working with or contributing to the UK Parkinson's Audit is desirable but not required.
Experience with a database used in a Parkinson’s service.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build and manage successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior clinicians.
Experience of operating in a modern digital workplace, including using digital tools, platforms and techniques to work collaboratively and productively.

About the Role
We're looking for highly motivated and committed individuals to provide specialist advice and representation on welfare benefits, grants and financial support, managing a caseload that includes complex cases, mandatory reconsiderations and appeals. The Money & More Benefits Caseworker supports clients across all stages of the cancer pathway, including diagnosis, treatment, palliative care and end-of-life support. · Deliver specialist welfare benefits advice and casework.

About You

The Southmead Project is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraiser to support the charity’s long-term financial sustainability.
The postholder will identify, research and secure funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources. They will lead on developing high-quality, persuasive funding applications and reports that clearly communicate the impact of the Southmead Project’s work and the needs of the people it supports.
Working closely with the CEO, Head of Finance and trustees, the Fundraiser will develop and deliver an annual fundraising plan, maintain a strong funding pipeline, and support the organisation to diversify its income.
