Head and neck cancer is one of the fastest-rising cancers in the UK, now affecting around 14,000 people every year — the 5th most common cancer among men, 7th overall, and the fastest growing among young people. Too often, symptoms are missed or misunderstood, and more than half of cases are diagnosed at a late stage. That means compromised survival rates, more invasive treatment, and a recovery that can mean a new way of eating, speaking and living.
Oracle Head & Neck Cancer UK exists to change that story. The Role
We're looking for a Trusts, Foundations and Corporate Fundraiser to join our small, ambitious team. You'll bring specialist experience securing income from trusts, foundations and corporate partners, and you'll be confident building a robust funding pipeline and reporting on project delivery to funders.
We are looking for someone adaptable and hands-on, willing to engage fully with the breadth of activity a small charity requires. Who you’ll work with: Your line manager will be the Head of Fundraising. There is also a full-time Fundraising Officer in the team who will provide some support for this role. The postholder should expect to work regularly with the CEO and wider leadership team. Fundraising sits within Voice 21’s Operations Directorate.
Where you’ll work: All Voice 21 staff work remotely and this is a home-based role, with some travel expected to our London office (near Victoria station) and elsewhere for meetings. Occasional overnight stays may be required. Voice 21 pays all travel and accommodation expenses.

Supported by a multi-million pound grant from the wider church, they are setting up a new function responsible for engaging with clergy at all stages of life and ministry on their current and future plans, offering access to grants to kick-start saving, bespoke advice at key life stages and tailored products that will provide people more choice about their future. As part of this new function, they are now recruiting for a proactive, empathetic Regional Adviser to deliver personalised support to clergy based across the South West region, helping them with day-to-day financial wellbeing matters, and retirement planning.
Working across Dioceses operating across the South West, you will proactively lead local engagement with clergy through structured, personalised one-to-one conversations, events and outreach, helping to connect individuals with expert advice, guidance, products and services that support their current and future financial plans. As a key point of contact for individuals and dioceses in your region, you’ll champion the needs and experiences of clergy, helping to build confidence about what the future might hold, and connecting people to the right information, products, specialists or local support. What you’ll bring:

About the Role
We're looking for highly motivated and committed individuals to provide specialist advice and representation on welfare benefits, grants and financial support, managing a caseload that includes complex cases, mandatory reconsiderations and appeals. The Money & More Benefits Caseworker supports clients across all stages of the cancer pathway, including diagnosis, treatment, palliative care and end-of-life support. You will deliver advice through a range of channels including telephone, email, digital platforms and face-to-face appointments within healthcare and community settings.

· Deliver specialist welfare benefits advice and casework.

The Southmead Project is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraiser to support the charity’s long-term financial sustainability.
The postholder will identify, research and secure funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources. They will lead on developing high-quality, persuasive funding applications and reports that clearly communicate the impact of the Southmead Project’s work and the needs of the people it supports.
Working closely with the CEO, Head of Finance and trustees, the Fundraiser will develop and deliver an annual fundraising plan, maintain a strong funding pipeline, and support the organisation to diversify its income. The role will require excellent writing, research, relationship-building and organisational skills, alongside a strong commitment to the charity’s values and mission.
Develop an annual fundraising plan, alongside the Head of Finance and CEO.
Carry out ongoing prospect research to identify new sources of funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources.
Maintain a fundraising pipeline, ensuring that opportunities, deadlines, applications and reporting requirements are monitored effectively.
Build and maintain a database of prospective and current funders, including key contacts, deadlines, funding priorities and application requirements.
Monitor relevant local, regional and national funding opportunities, including being a sponsored charity at community events.
Produce funding applications for trusts, charities, foundations and statutory bodies as an ongoing part of the charity’s income generation.
Analyse data and feedback collected through outcomes processes for report writing.
Build and maintain positive relationships with funders, partners and relevant stakeholders, including the corporate sector as part of the charity’s income diversification strategy.
Attend monthly meetings with the Senior Leadership Team and trustee meetings as required.
