We are now seeking an Deputy CYP Lead to join our CYP Team at this pivotal time on a permanent basis.
As a specialist charity supporting survivors of sexual violence across twelve South London boroughs, we provide counselling, group therapy, advocacy, prevention education, and professional training. With an annual income of approximately £4 million, we are growing and strengthening our infrastructure to better serve survivors and communities.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and committed Deputy Children and Young People (CYP) Lead to support the development and delivery of our therapeutic services at a pivotal time of growth and transformation.
Reporting to the CYP Clinical Lead, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to CYP counsellors and therapists. You will help ensure that services for children and young people are consistently safe, effective, trauma-informed, and survivor-centred.
This is a varied and impactful role that combines clinical leadership, safeguarding oversight, service development, and line management. It offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to shaping, strengthening, and expanding high-quality CYP services.
What You’ll Do
- Support the CYP Clinical Lead with assessments, allocations and case distribution across CYP pathways
- Provide clinical guidance and day-to-day support to CYP counsellors and therapists
- Line manage allocated CYP staff and contribute to recruitment, induction and staff development
- Oversee group work programmes, including family support groups
- Undertake the role of Designated Safeguarding Officer for the CYP team
- Deputise as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead as part of the rota when required
- Provide guidance on complex safeguarding concerns and ensure appropriate escalation
- Contribute to service improvement, contract delivery and performance monitoring
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies and partners
- Deputise for the CYP Clinical Lead where required
About You
- Degree-level qualification in counselling or psychotherapy (or equivalent experience)
Professional membership with an accredited counselling/psychotherapy body
Minimum of 200 hours post-qualification supervised client work
At least 3 years’ experience working with children and young people affected by rape and sexual violence
Experience leading or supporting a team
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation (children and adults)
Completed Level 3 safeguarding training
Experience in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector
Understanding of trauma-informed, survivor-centred and feminist practice
Experience working with diverse communities
Ability to use data and outcomes to support service improvement - Experience working with marginalised or under-served communities
Knowledge of housing, welfare benefits or related legislationn

Role Summary
The relationship between careers education and broader education, skills and socio-economic policy remains vitally important. The Senior Policy Manager will report to the Associate Director, Policy and Impact and play a key role in:
- Leading and contributing to policy and strategy that support CEC’s strategic objective to influence on behalf of careers education to help every young person find their best next step.
- Influencing CEC’s policy response to government priorities related CEC’s agenda including in education reform, NEET prevention, raising awareness and supporting take-up of vocational and technical options, and supporting young people with additional needs.
The post holder will:
- Bring together evidence from a range of sources and turn complex information into clear, structured advice and options to create evidence-based policy positions.
- Offer knowledge and experience of areas related to CEC’s work, including intersection with education, skills and youth employment.
- Be a highly effective writer with experience of leading on high impact reports and responses to inquiries and consultations.
- Confidently develop strong, supportive relationships with Whitehall policy makers and peers across the sector.
- Help connect policy development to corporate affairs and strategic communications to ensure that CEC can amplify great practice and insight to drive impact for young people.
The post sits within the Policy & Impact team as part of CEC’s Strategy & Communications directorate.
Key Responsibilities:
Support CEC representation at senior levels externally.
Develop CEC’s policy and impact positions, ensuring accuracy and fair representation of progress and opportunities within the careers system, with a focus on:
- Evidence – Filling evidence gaps and understanding of what works, working closely with impact and insight colleagues to analyse and present evidence.
- Influence – Shaping coherent, innovative, high quality and connected solutions to government priorities which amplify and embed the infrastructure and role of CEC.
- Proactive coordination – Leading internal and external efforts to identify opportunities and connect programmes and projects to amplify CEC’s mission, for example on NEET prevention or skills pipelines.

- Demonstrable skills at converting policy to impact including proven experience of working on strategic implementation of skills policy and good practice in education engagement.

The Role:
As a proactive and innovative Project Manager for Professional Development, you will support our CPD team. This new role is pivotal in ensuring effective systems management and record keeping, stakeholder engagement and relationships across various educational projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the management of a large, growing and innovative Schools CPD programme, in person and online
- Manage administrative tasks including documentation, scheduling, and reporting for CPD programmes

JOB DESCRIPTION
Fundraising and supporter engagement
- Engage and support individuals, communities and local businesses to fundraise for Duchenne UK, providing outstanding stewardship and care throughout their journey.
- Recruit participants for both ‘run your own’ and third-party challenge events (runs, cycles, walks, skydives, etc.), developing long-term relationships with supporters – including families directly connected to the Duchenne community.
- Manage and grow Duchenne UK’s community fundraising programme, including in-memory giving, birthday fundraisers, and local community initiatives.
- Respond promptly to fundraising enquiries and proactively inspire new audiences to get involved.
- Project-manage a calendar of third-party challenge events, overseeing logistics, communications, and participant stewardship from sign-up through to completion.

Job Purpose:
The Marketing & Fundraising Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing St Hilda’s East’s marketing strategy and will take the lead in organising fundraising events and securing funds from individual donations, and rental and room hire income.
They will lead on communications with external stakeholders through the development and implementation of SHE’s marketing plans and social media strategy. There will be a particular focus on strengthening our unique link with the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies’ College, as well as with parents and pupils of the school – to raise awareness of the impact of St. Hilda’s East and to organise joint events. The postholder will work alongside freelance fundraisers who focus on maximising grant income.
It is not essential to have experience in the non-profit sector; we would love to hear from you if you have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment and are looking to bring your talents to the charity sector.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join IRMO as our Youth Project Coordinator and lead the Latin American Youth Forum (LAYF) – IRMO’s youth-led group for migrant and refugee young people aged 13–19.
LAYF offers a safe, supportive and trilingual space (Spanish, Portuguese and English) where young people can overcome barriers and begin to find their feet in the UK. Activities are designed to build confidence, support integration and foster leadership. Through the programme, participants can learn English through fun and engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, take part in weekly educational, arts-based and themed workshops, and receive one-to-one support through a targeted coaching programme focused on education, volunteering and employment.
Young people also have the opportunity to join the LAYF Youth Steering Group, where they can develop leadership skills and inspire other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking young people, while exploring London and beyond through cultural trips and residentials.
As Youth Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for registering and onboarding new participants, designing and delivering a creative weekly programme of LAYF Space Workshops, and offering one-to-one mentoring to help young people access opportunities and build confidence. You’ll work closely with IRMO’s ESOL and Advice and Advocacy teams to ensure a joined-up and holistic approach.
This is a varied role that requires empathy, creativity and excellent organisational skills.
