Job description

Do you believe fitness can change more than just physical health?

MINDSET Charity is a brand-new initiative focused on helping men improve their mental wellbeing, build confidence, and live happier, more fulfilling lives. We’re now looking to develop a programme that uses fitness, training, and nutrition as powerful tools for positive change.

And we need someone to lead its creation.

We’re seeking a volunteer Programme Development Manager to design and build a fitness and wellbeing programme that supports men in boosting their mood, confidence, and overall mindset.

This is your opportunity to create something meaningful — a structured programme that goes beyond the gym, helping men feel stronger mentally as well as physically.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing a personal training, fitness, and nutrition-based programme.

  • Creating structured plans that are accessible, realistic, and effective.

  • Incorporating mindset, motivation, and habit-building techniques.

  • Ensuring the programme supports mental wellbeing alongside physical progress.

  • Working with the team to shape how the programme is delivered and experienced.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone with knowledge or experience in fitness, personal training, or nutrition.

  • An understanding of how physical health links to mental wellbeing.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.

  • A creative and proactive approach to programme design.

  • A genuine passion for helping others grow in confidence and wellbeing.

Formal qualifications are welcome but not essential — what matters most is your ability to design a programme that works and your desire to make a difference.

In return, you’ll gain:

  • The opportunity to design a programme from the ground up.

  • Valuable experience within a growing charity.

  • A strong portfolio piece with real-world impact.

  • The chance to positively influence men’s lives and wellbeing.

  • A supportive, purpose-driven team environment.

This isn’t just about fitness — it’s about helping men feel better, think clearer, and live stronger.

If you want to use your knowledge to create real change, we’d love to hear from you.

Join MINDSET and help build a programme that strengthens both body and mind.
