SolidariTee is inviting new volunteers to join our regional and central teams for the 2025/26 academic year!
Whether you're a current student, have recently graduated, on a year abroad, or you’re a self-identifying young person who didn’t go to university, we want to hear from you! We offer a range of flexible, meaningful roles (some remote and some in-person) where you can gain skills, build confidence, and help create real change.

Who are SolidariTee?
SolidariTee is an entirely volunteer-run movement led by students and self-identifying young people who share a commitment to standing in solidarity with displaced people.
We support refugees and asylum seekers through advocacy, awareness-raising, and fundraising to provide grants to NGOs in Greece delivering vital legal aid and psychological support. We believe in the power of grassroots action - and in the ability of young people to drive real, systemic change.
Who are we looking for?
- Our applications are primarily designed for current students and self-identifying young people, but we warmly welcome recent graduates to apply too.
- You don’t need any prior experience to volunteer with SolidariTee - just passion, commitment, and a willingness to learn. Our goal is to empower individuals to develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge to make a tangible difference.
Volunteering with SolidariTee is a chance to:

We’d love to find someone passionate and who can face a challenge, someone who loves to prove that 'it can be done' trustworthy and god with deadlines, whos self motivated and wants to support the families we serve.
What difference will you make?
We are a small grassroots charity fighting hard to support our families, as we grow, we need to bring in more funding, we really need your support, supporting a grassroots charity can be challenging due to low funds to buy into bigger fundraising opportunities, the question is are you up for that challenge?
Your support will help us to grow and support more families, our families are extremely important to us, we support amazing children and young people fighting big issues due to neurodiversity or trauma resulting in mental health issues, many of our children are unable to access school or their own communities, our trauma children are often recovering from some of the following: grief, PTSD, bullying, physical, emotional or sexual abuse, we work hard as a team to fund staycations so our families can breathe and take a break so they can recuperate to face the challenges they so unfairly face. You will have the chance to make a huge difference to the lives of the vulnerable families we support at Barefoot and Free.

Shelter Bucket Collection – Slough Tesco Extra
Role summary
Through their ‘Taste and Tesco’ scheme, the UK’s biggest supermarket offer charities across the UK opportunities to apply for fundraising collections outside their stores. Following a successful application, this bucket collection will take outside the Slough Wellington Tesco Extra, Slough. Volunteers will be required to stand with buckets and card machines asking the public for donations.
- Availability: This is a flexible opportunity, with various shifts between 10:00 - 17:00
- Suggested involvement: Whatever works for you - you choose the shift you volunteer at!

We have an exciting opportunity for new Trustees to join the Carers’ Hub Board, responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity. We have recently reviewed the current Board and we are particularly interested to hear from people with the experience or skills outlined below, but these are not mandatory, and we would like to hear from anyone with an interest in being a trustee:
- Finance: accounting, managing budgets, producing financial reports. You might be a qualified accountant, or someone who has good financial management experience. We are looking for someone who can help ensure that the Board can provide adequate scrutiny, assurance, and support of the charity's finances.
- Fundraising: writing bids, securing corporate partners or raising donations from individuals. We are keen to diversify our income and we are looking for someone who has fundraising experience to advise and support our staff team to raise funds.
- Legal: employment law, charity law or a different discipline. We are looking for someone who can offer us advice and guidance when needed and help us with reviewing contracts and other documents.
At Carers' Hub, we want our Board to be representative of the diverse community we support. We are keen to hear from anyone who is interested, even if you haven't previously pictured yourself as a trustee or aren't sure if you have the experience or skills required.
Meetings take place at our offices, in person, in Brixton approximately once every two-three months. They currently run from 4pm until 6pm and we value our Trustees being able to attend meetings in person. It is hoped that you will be able to contribute your time to help develop pieces of work outside of meetings depending on your skill set and availability.

While observing activity at an event through regular patrols, you could be involved in anything from providing first aid advice to providing lifesaving skills for a patient until the emergency services arrive. Your actions can save lives. Whether it's a minor injury or a serious emergency, your skills will be the difference between panic and relief.
Become a CFA with Cheshire North and come along every Monday 7:30-9pm to our network meetings at the St John Ambulance building in Warrington.

Our fabulous team of volunteers run regular store collections across Suffolk helping to raise valuable funds and spread awareness of our vital work and upcoming fundraising events. We are looking for a Volunteer Store Collection Volunteer to help plan and organise these collections in both the East Suffolk area (Felixstowe to Needham Market) and West Suffolk area (Stowmarket to Bury St Edmunds)
We are looking for volunteers who could help volunteering at our store collections. Each shift usually last two hours and you can be inside/outside the store with collection/donation buckets and handing out leaflets.
Shifts cover:
10am-12noon
12noon-2pm
2pm-4pm

- No experience is necessary as we will provide you with the guidance you need.

Our voluntary roles are subject to an informal interview and trial period. We may ask you to provide contact details for two referees and depending on the position you may be required to sign an agreement and undergo specific training before starting the role.
