ADUK is looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to be part of our ambitious team at a key time for the charity.  In this new role, our Policy and Campaigns Manager will develop our policy positions and further our campaigning aims to promote standards-based approaches to the training and welfare of assistance dogs, and to facilitate better access for all those who rely on these highly trained dogs.

What will you be doing?

As a Service Manager at Hft, you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. You will be a role model to others through demonstrating excellent support to those we support and you will help the Regional Service Managers to coach, support and manage staff teams effectively. You will be responsible for nurturing and inspiring those coming to work for Hft to help ensure we have the best staff teams offering great support services. This role also offers great opportunities for career progression to help you develop your knowledge and skills.

The purpose of the role is to assist the Regional Service Manager by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the registered service. You will also have the responsibility to manage the performance of your team; including your team’s delivery of care and support which promotes dignity, wellbeing and independence and a person-centred culture.

Alongside the Regional Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service.

As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an exemplary role model.

As a Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. We provide 24/7 support to some people, so you will need to have flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis, including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.

A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is essential for the role.

About you

- You will have experience supporting adults with complex learning disabilities.
- You need good IT skills and experience of maintaining records to be a success in this role.???????

- You need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or acceptable equivalent) OR have the ability to achieve this within 18 months of appointment.

About the role
A key member of WVUK’s Humanitarian & International Programmes (HIP) management team, you’ll lead the unit that’s responsible for acquiring around £35m of institutional donor funding (grants & contracts) each year, as well as corporate and philanthropic proposal development on behalf of the Strategic Partnership Directorate. Defining and ensuring a consistent approach to delivering quality and timely submissions that are coordinated and informed with input from all relevant stakeholders will be important too, as will ensuring the available capacity and capability of a team to lead submission development. Line managing and developing unit members, providing strong proactive support to other HIP unit managers and playing your part in developing and delivering HIP team plans – all are aspects of this high-profile role.

About you

To succeed, you’ll need proven experience of developing and maintaining relations with institutional donors, analysing their funding requirements and shifting worldviews (particularly DFID/FCDO, EU/ECHO), and working with, managing, and developing relationships with consortium partners. You’ll also need field experience of working in different cultures and religious contexts. Proactive and creative in improving existing processes and developing new ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness, you’re adept at knowledge management within a demanding team environment and used to line managing and training, mentoring or capacity building a team.

You’re an excellent project manager too - someone who’s comfortable working on complex multiple tasks and prioritising to meet deadlines. Expertise in a specific technical area - e.g., child protection, health, nutrition, livelihoods, social accountability, resilience or economic development, would also be useful, as would working knowledge of a second language. More important however, is a general awareness of Christian teaching to appreciate the Christian ethos of WVUK and live their values. This role will support the operational smooth running of the team, with a particular focus contracting and onboarding Forest IQ’s users. 

Forest IQ provides major data-service providers and financial institutions with market-leading data about corporate performance on deforestation, conversion of natural ecosystems and associated human rights abuses. This will enable financial institutions to identify risks and opportunities to help them to deliver deforestation free portfolios by 2025.

To be successful in this role,  these are the things that will matter the most: 

• A track record of managing project operations to a high standard, particularly around contracting or licensing 

• Able to work with both external and internal stakeholders, delivering clear and professional communication 

• Able to work to support a variety of different team members including data scientists, researchers, finance business partners, and operations

The Role

As the Legacies Manager, you will assume a pivotal role within our dynamic Partnership and Development team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the strategy and execution of our legacy programme, driving forward our mission to support vulnerable children, young people, and families across the UK. Drawing upon your strategic vision and extensive experience in fundraising, you will design and implement innovative legacy campaigns aimed at maximising income generation and expanding the reach of the organisation’s Family Hubs.

• Provide excellent stewardship to all supporters who engage with legacies, working with stakeholders to ensure journeys are insight-led, respond to audience needs, and are well documented and reported upon.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of legacy giving initiatives and regularly report on progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and continuously improve strategies for maximising legacy support.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the end-to-end process for delivering the legacies plan is designed and documented. This includes solving problems in circumstances where there is minimal guidance available from established practices and precedents within the organisation.
• Work closely with the Head of Relationship Fundraising and other fundraising colleagues to ensure that all fundraising activities are well-coordinated and contribute towards the overall fundraising strategy.
• Identify growth opportunities that foster organisational projects which impact and improve the Legacy programme.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to raise awareness of legacy giving opportunities within the organisation. Utilise various communication channels, including digital platforms, events, and printed Job Description & Person Specification materials, to effectively promote the importance of legacy giving and its impact on the organisation's mission.

The role

MIND in Haringey and its partner Public Voice delivers the Voluntary and Community (VCS) Capacity Building contract commissioned by the London Borough of Haringey. The contract, which runs from May 2024 to April 2027 can be extended for a further four years at the discretion of the Client. The Contract includes the administration and management of the Volunteer Centre and the development and promotion of a Navigation Network (NavNet) knowledge sharing platform, META Workplace.

The Community Alliance team will be located across different sectors of the Borough employed by either MIND in Haringey or Public Voice who make up the consortium partners. Day-to-day management of the Community Alliance service is the responsibility of the Haringey Community Alliance Manager.

As leader of The Charity’s social and paid media team, you’ll develop and own the delivery of our social media and PPC campaigns and lead the strategic direction of our channels as we help all those with brain tumours live longer, better lives.

You’ll line manage two Digital Marketing Officers and work with a range of colleagues across The Charity to implement an overarching content marketing approach. You’ll be working to put our brand out there and grow our reach and influence with target audiences, mobilising their voices to inspire change – whilst also building and optimising flagship fundraising and conversion campaigns!

Who we're looking for:

You have strong digital marketing and paid social experience across both brand and fundraising campaigns. You’re passionate, with a flair for the creative, well organised and an excellent communicator and team motivator. You use a data-driven approach to plan your elements of multichannel marketing campaigns, working your channels hard as part of the wider digital marketing matrix.

Key accountabilities:

• Lead The Charity’s social media strategy
• Line manage and coach two Digital Marketing Officers to design and implement both paid and organic plans
• Oversee and develop the Google Ads grant and PPC plans
• Drive supporter acquisition as part of multichannel marketing campaigns, selecting the best channels, audience segmentations and ad formats
• Brief internal teams and work with the Digital Marketing Officers to create copy and content for ad creatives and our always-on social content calendar
• Work with the other Digital Marketing Managers to implement a cohesive content marketing approach with shared reach, conversion aspirations and goals, and to ensure the seamless tracking and use of data between platforms
• Own the brand awareness and re-targeting campaigns within Meta
• Contribute to shared marketing and fundraising strategies, including audience and segmentation development, multi-channel acquisition campaigns and brand and health information campaigns
• Grow and steward our network of digital influencers
• Participate in marketing campaign and creative concept development sessions
• Brief and manage external agencies
• Report on The Charity’s overall social media health and use analytical tools to make recommendations on a campaign-by-campaign level
