It’s really simple: we need you to bring your HR subject matter expertise and train our line managers on how to deal with the employment demands they are facing today – demands which continue to grow. About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are now recruiting an IPS Employment Advisor to join our Connect to Work service across Enfield. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, following the principles of the IPS model to support people into paid employment.
What you’ll be doing
If you were working with us, your days would be varied and people-centred. You would manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs, people experiencing homelessness, and people with offending histories, offering one-to-one support to help them secure and sustain employment that matches their preferences.
You would provide person-centred guidance using the IPS approach (training is provided), helping clients build confidence, prepare for work, and navigate challenges that may arise. A key part of the role involves engaging employers, promoting the value of our service, and identifying suitable job opportunities.
You would work closely with NHS clinical teams, contributing to an integrated approach to recovery through employment. This includes attending team meetings, coordinating support, and maintaining clear, client-led communication. The role also involves working to agreed targets while maintaining a high-quality, supportive service.

About the Role
This is a senior leadership opportunity with significant influence and visibility.

The Compliance & Recruitment Officer plays a vital role supporting the Recruitment and Compliance Team Partners to ensure that our recruitment and onboarding processes for permanent staff, temporary workers, and volunteers align with regulatory requirements and maintain the integrity and compliance of our hiring practice.
As a Compliance & Recruitment Officer you will deliver a high quality and responsive service to prospective candidates, recruiting managers and business stakeholders. In addition, you serve as a subject matter expert to the People Team and the wider organisation, ensuring that we prioritise the safeguarding of the children and young people right from the start of an employee’s recruitment and onboarding journey.
Skills and Responsibilities
On-Boarding & Compliance
- Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding and compliance process and ensure that the processes are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner, including: issuing contracts, pre-employment compliance checks, and keying new starters/setting up new starters on the onboarding system.
- Ensure the accurate entry and maintenance of data onto the relevant HR Systems/ spreadsheets, by employing robust quality assurance and due diligence measures.
- Be the subject matter expert for Access Recruit & Onboarding and Better Impact for the team, the candidates/onboardees and the wider organisation
- Monitor and maintain ongoing compliance requirements across staff files, including (but not limited to): Right to Work documentation (i.e. valid Visas and passports); Professional Registrations; Dr’s professional insurance, etc.
- Ensure that all aspects of DBS process are managed in accordance with policy/procedures
- Assist the Recruitment & Compliance Manager in preparing, analysing and producing relevant reports and statistics.
- Conduct audit checks on new starters, volunteer and temporary worker files and report back to team to ensure continuous improvement and accuracy of data collected.
- Coordinate and/or supervise a regular and continuous calendar of personnel file reviews and audits, to ensure and maintain regulatory compliance, and where relevant escalate non- compliance issues to the Compliance Partner and/or the Recruitment & Compliance Manager.
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of an annual audit of CQC and Ofsted standards, across relevant business areas, e.g. The Children’s Trust School.
- Proactively maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our associated regulatory requirements, highlighting any updates and subsequent implications as soon as reasonably practical.
- Impart expertise and knowledge by delivering training sessions for new starters on compliance processes.
- In collaboration with the Organisation Development Team ensure the delivery of a seamless and engaging On-boarding and Induction experience for new staff and volunteers.
Recruitment & Selection
- Be responsible for the recruitment, on-boarding and compliance process for all types of permanent employees, Bank employees, temporary workers and volunteers.
- Maintain the administration of recruitment and onboarding records, ensuring that these are complete and accurate
- Ensure all recruitment activities and the candidate life-cycle are underpinned by our Promises, whilst adhering to current employment legislation including Disclosure & Barring Service, Care Quality Commission, Ofsted, KCSIE and all policies and procedures
- Maintain an up-to-date list of vacancies, and ensure that all vacancies are advertised internally and/ or externally, in a timely manner.
- Support the Recruitment Team in the review and implementation of new and progressive recruitment initiatives, e.g. Employee Referral Scheme; Graduate Programmes; Apprenticeships; and overseas recruitment, with a view to increase the diversity and skill set of our workforce, across the organisation.
- Support the Recruitment & Compliance Partners with advertising vacancies, as well as the organisation and delivery of recruitment events and campaigns.
- Support the Recruitment & Compliance Manager with Bank Administrator recruitment and management of assignments.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily work tasks of team Bank Administration or Volunteer support, ensuring that all administrative aspects of the recruitment process are delivered to regulatory standards, on time and in a professional manner.

People Team Support

ABOUT THE ROLE
Mission 44 exists to drive change and build a fairer, more inclusive future for young people around the world. As our work continues to expand, so does our ambition to influence policy, shift power, and drive systemic change by addressing the barriers young people face and advancing evidence-based solutions.
The Senior Manager, Policy & Campaigns will be central to this mission, leading the development of policy positions and research that strengthens Mission 44’s ability to influence decision-makers and shape public discourse.
Mission 44’s impact model brings together strategic investment (through grantmaking) and targeted influence to drive systemic change. The Senior Manager will work closely with grantmaking teams to ensure that insight from funded work is embedded in policy and research, while also feeding learning and evidence back into funding strategies to strengthen decision-making and maximise impact.
The role will lead and manage Mission 44’s policy and research agenda, acting as a key point of contact for partners and building trusted relationships across government, the education and youth sectors, and civil society. The role will lead the development of policy recommendations, commission and translate research into clear, actionable outputs, and collaborate with internal teams and partners to align policy priorities with wider organisational objectives and maximise influence.
The role also plays a critical role in advocacy and external engagement, ensuring Mission 44’s voice is present in key policy moments, supporting strategic campaigns, and connecting research and insight to high-impact opportunities that drive political attention and sustained change at a national and global level.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
POLICY
- Lead the development and delivery of Mission 44’s policy strategy, aligned to organisational priorities and focused on driving systemic change for young people
- Develop clear, evidence-based policy positions and recommendations that influence government, civil society, the education sector and key decision-makers
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with policymakers, advisors, think tanks, academics, and sector leaders to strengthen Mission 44’s influence
- Identify and shape opportunities to influence policy agendas, consultations and legislative processes at national and global levels
- Work cross-functionally to align policy priorities with external engagement and advocacy activity
- Monitor and analyse political and policy developments across relevant landscapes, leading on timely evidence-led responses and providing strategic insight and recommendations
- Track and evaluate the impact of policy and advocacy activity, using insights to refine strategy and approach
- Account manage Mission 44’s external policy and research partners and consultants, ensuring high-quality delivery and value for money
CAMPAIGNS
- Support the design and delivery of integrated advocacy campaigns that connect policy, research and storytelling to drive political attention and action
- Work closely with partners and young people to co-create campaigns, ensuring their voices and experiences shape campaign priorities, policy recommendations and delivery approaches
- Work cross-functionally with communications and partnerships teams to maximise influence

- Contribute to campaign messaging and narratives that translate policy positions into compelling calls to action for target audiences
RESEARCH
- Commission and oversee high-quality research, ensuring outputs are rigorous, relevant, and actionable
- Translate complex research and data into compelling policy briefs, reports, and insight-driven narratives to support advocacy and influence
- Ensure all policy and research outputs are accessible, inclusive and reflect the lived experiences of young people
ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
- Strong experience in policy development with a track record of influencing decision-makers
- Experience shaping or contributing to successful community-led movements, advocacy campaigns or policy change initiatives
- Deep understanding of political and policy-making processes, ideally in education, employment, social justice, or youth-focused areas
- Experience in participatory and youth-centred research approaches, including co-creation with young people and gathering insight through polling, perception studies and stakeholder engagement - alongside more traditional research methods
- Ability to translate complex research and evidence into clear, persuasive policy recommendations and narratives
- Proven experience building and managing senior stakeholder relationships across government, civil society, education, employment and/or youth sectors

About the role

As part of a small and busy team, the post holder will be required from time to time to support with delivery of these services, as well as playing a key role in their strategic development.
About you
We are looking for someone with a background in service delivery; with experience of providing information and advice, and designing and delivering training and learning.
The ideal post holder will be equally comfortable planning strategically and rolling up their sleeves to deliver. This means we need someone who is a great communicator with excellent leadership skills who can also turn their hand to managing budgets and client accounts, helping us to plan the future development of our services offer.
You’ll be fluent in Welsh including in written correspondence with a solid understanding of carers and the issues and challenges they face.

JOB TITLE: Community Support Worker
RESPONSIBLE TO: Community and Families Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
• To support the community work of Adoption UK Scotland community support services, to plan and deliver community events, provide professionals, parents/carers, children, and young people access to information, resources, and services and to engage with families in their local communities.
• To offer a front-line service, primarily to adoptive and kinship families, and care experienced individuals and young people, by supporting delivery and administration for activities and events, including regular support groups delivery, youth and teens/young adults, and family events. Support of events across Scotland based on resources and availability.
• Support planning, organisation of, and attendance at, in person and online events through funded projects and services to bring together adopted and care-experienced individuals and young people and adoptive and kinship families, enable peer support, build a sense of community and promote an active and supportive Community Network.
• To respond to enquiries received via the Information and Support Service and relevant email inboxes with relevant information and/or signposting.
• To be part of the wider communities within Adoption UK Scotland, working across teams and services.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across all services areas of Adoption UK
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working alongside service leads within the communities team, and with the wider Adoption UK Scotland team members to plan and deliver specific events and activities for adoptive and kinship community members, and care experienced children and young people via our E Project youth service for children, teens and young adults.
• Provide administrative coordination for community event provision, including collating event materials, gathering feedback and evaluations for reporting purposes, supporting delivery of events, maintaining records using existing required systems, and responding to enquiries via our Information and Support line and relevant email inboxes.
• Working alongside Communications colleagues and across teams to ensure promotion of events to relevant target groups
• Attending events to promote the wider work of AUK Scotland at conferences or support groups
• To hold responsibility for administrative requirements relating to community events, including setting up booking pages, sharing information via newsletters and social media, and recording service delivery interactions, using existing Adoption UK systems and processes
• To work with colleagues in the Foundations for Families kinship support service to support delivery and coordinate activities between services where appropriate.
• To report to line manager and directors in Adoption UK Scotland relating to service delivery, including contributing to monitoring and reporting on activities.
• To work alongside Adoption UK colleagues to develop and improve resources and services for our communities.
