SafeLives have been commissioned to facilitate the Partnership’s Co-Production Panel and support the development of a network of survivors with lived experience of domestic abuse in Hertfordshire, through their Authentic Voice practice model.

Key purpose of role:

• To truly transform the response to domestic abuse, we must place the experience of survivors at the heart of everything we do.
• Supporting the organisational commitment of SafeLives, and that of the Partnership, to Authentic Voice.
• Working within the Innovation team and alongside the Partnership to develop an influential panel, a powerful approach to gathering and amplifying survivor voices, challenging ‘them and us’ attitudes, you will have the skills and values to support and engage with survivors of domestic abuse.
• Coordinating the implementation of the Authentic Voice principles, embedding co-creation throughout the work of the Partnership.
• Establishing creative ways to reach out to survivors across Hertfordshire including those who have increased vulnerability or multiple disadvantage, those who are marginalised and others who have not yet found their voice.
• Ensuring all who want to have their voice heard, are heard and that what we learn from their lived experience shapes the response to domestic abuse in Hertfordshire and nationally.
• Demonstrating the value of expertise by experience to influence all stakeholders, breaking down perceptions of ‘them and us’ and uniting voices of experts by experience to keep families safe and end domestic abuse.

The CYP Link Counsellor role makes a real difference by providing children and young people who have experienced Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) or other forms of sexual violence and abuse with timely, appropriate, trauma-informed, and compassionate specialist support as part of our wider CYP Services.

• Deliver specialist, boundaried, relational, and trauma-informed counselling for children and young people aged 5–17 who have been subjected to or are at risk of CSE.
• Actively engage children and young people to rebuild trust and encourage participation in Counselling and Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy (ISVA) services.
• Provide counselling in safe, secure environments where young people feel supported.
• Tailor counselling and therapy to individual needs and abilities, including conducting assessments and creating therapeutic plans.

This role will be responsible for delivering support to individuals experiencing complex ill mental health and substance misuse issues, targeting achievable outcomes that promote and deliver positive outcomes for tenants in our services.The post holder will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions with a holistic assessment to support personalised recovery and promotion of independent living skills. Key Responsibilities

Support Assessment & Delivery

• Implement and deliver dual-diagnosis support through 1.1 and group sessions to tenants experiencing issues with poor mental health and substance misuse.
• Undertake joint holistic assessments and risk assessments with tenants participating in the service to determine service and support needs and identity where these can be met.
• Provide outcome-based support measured against goals, personal aspirations of the tenant, and their achievements.
• Working with tenants, encourage them to identify their own goals and work towards independence and resilience. The key aims are to reduce the need for acute clinical interventions and hospitalisations.
• Put in place with the tenant, agreed SMART targets with a range of evidence-based interventions that addresses areas of need, such as harm minimisation, prevention of relapse for those in addiction recovery, and improved self-awareness and motivation.
• Through collaborative working with other teams in the organisation, enhance the personalised and choice-led support plan of tenants to integrate with their tenancy support needs and reducing the risk of tenancy loss due to dual-diagnosis issues.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis though support initiatives such as peer-led support groups.
• Be proactive in observing and responding to changing characteristics of tenants receiving support, recognising deterioration in mental wellbeing and putting in place interventions that reduce the likelihood of more acute support needs.
• Be a point of contact for tenants who are on the verge of experiencing a crisis episode, providing appropriate support and interventions to help avoid the need to access acute services.
• Foster positive working relationships with external stakeholders, breaking down barriers and improving access to appropriate support services such as specialised mental healthcare and addiction recovery programmes.
• Develop effective community links that expands support resources that to be offered to tenants.
• Develop all support plans and coaching sessions to embrace the key elements and principles of Trauma Informed Practice and Psychologically Informed Environments.
• Keep up to date with strategies and methodologies used in the support sector to ensure dual-diagnosis support in the organisation remains at a high level for all tenants accessing it.
• Promote the achievements of tenants receiving support through KPI reporting and case studies.
• Recognise goals and aspirations achieved by individuals and using the evidence obtained, formulate and develop future support plans and strategies that enhance the service.
• Work with team leaders and managers to develop our lived experience support in a structured and safe way.
• Deliver practical harm reduction, relapse prevention, and coping strategy workshops.

Risk Management

• Ensure accurate and up to date risk assessments are undertaken, putting in place effective risk management plans to mitigate risk of harm, neglect, and any other areas of risk to the tenant, staff, and wider community.
•  Ensure all records and support plans are managed in compliance with organisational policies governing confidentiality, privacy, data sharing consent, and keeping to the requirements and principles of the UK GDPR.

General Responsibilities

• Support colleagues through the sharing of support strategies and techniques that will benefit tenants outside of dual-diagnosis sessions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our policy, evidence and influencing team to deliver change for people with breast cancer in Scotland.

Role Mission.

To ensure that Scotty’s understands and demonstrates the impact of its work — through high-quality research, meaningful measurement, and clear reporting. You will lead the development of internal and external research projects, manage beneficiary insight gathering, and oversee the systems and frameworks we use to evaluate and share our effectiveness. 

This role is central to helping us improve what we do and explain why it matters and ensuring that lived experience remains at the heart of everything we do. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:

Impact Measurement 

• Develop and maintain frameworks to measure the outcomes of all services and programmes. 

• Ensure Success Measures (KPIs) and qualitative feedback tools are aligned to our Theory of Change. 

• Work with the Families (service delivery) team to embed consistent and meaningful data collection across all services. 

• Design simple, automated reporting processes to reduce manual admin and improve data use. 

Research & Insight 

• Lead internal research projects using beneficiary data, surveys, and feedback loops. 

• Scope and manage external research partnerships with academic institutions or sector bodies. 

• Design and deliver surveys to beneficiaries and the wider bereaved military community 

• Produce evidence to support service development, strategic decisions, influence national policy, and funding bids. 

• Lead our existing advisory group (for children and young people) and establish new groups as required (e.g. for adult services).

About You

Must-Have 

Proven experience in research and/or impact evaluation, ideally in the charity or public sector

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Event Operations & Logistics

• Lead operational planning for all IWA conferences and events.
• Develop delivery plans, run sheets, floorplans, schedules, and onsite procedures.
• Manage all venue arrangements including room allocations, technical requirements, catering, access, and safety.
• Ensure all events meet required standards in health & safety, insurance, safeguarding (where applicable), and contractual compliance.
• Oversee onsite setup, delivery, and breakdown.
• International travel will be required several times per year.

2. Supplier & Contract Management

• Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers including venues, AV/technical contractors, caterers, staging companies, decorators, and logistics partners.
• Ensure value for money, delivery quality, and adherence to agreed timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain clear documentation.

3. Onsite Delivery

• Act as the operational lead during live events.
• Coordinate suppliers, onsite staff, volunteers, and support teams.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and maintain a professional delegate environment.

4. Budget & Reporting

• Manage operational budgets and track expenditure.
• Prepare post-event operational reports and lessons learned.
• Support continuous improvement of delivery processes and supplier frameworks.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in event operations and logistics, ideally with international or multi-day events.

Ashinaga UK is recruiting a Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of the Ashinaga Africa Initiative leadership development programme for African Scholars studying in the UK. As part of a mission-driven global organisation, the coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth programme operations, student support, and administrative excellence throughout the annual Scholar cycle. Programme Coordinator

• Location: Remote. Candidates must be willing to travel regularly for programme activities and team meetings. 
• Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional work on weekends or evenings.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Coordination & Operations

• Coordinate speaker invitations, facilitator briefs, and session materials. 
• Track Scholar attendance, progress and compliance across the year.

Scholar Support 

• Support Scholars in their academic, personal and professional development through the AAI leadership framework, including check-ins, coaching and progress tracking.

• Support Scholars as they develop their Ashinaga Proposal social impact projects. 

Data & Systems Management

Communication

We are looking to recruit HOPELINE247 Advisers to provide individually tailored suicide prevention advice and guidance to young people and those who are concerned for them via our national multi-channel helpline HOPELINE247 and deliver suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.

What you will do:

• Work as part of a team providing suicide prevention support to a range of clients via multichannel communication platforms. 
• Work on a 7-day shift system
• Use professional judgement to assess the needs of the service users who present with risk to life and manage and report any matters related to safeguarding.
• Maintain accurate records and input data monitoring into the data base system.
• Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practise. 
• Provide training, mentoring and coaching to new recruits.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• a degree or professional qualification in Health or Social Care, Community Work or a related discipline
• previous experience of working in an advisory capacity in suicide prevention or mental health
• a proven record of working directly with vulnerable young people 
• experience of providing advice and guidance via multiple communication channels
• the ability to empathise, support and build rapport with suicidal people and those who care about them, remaining non-judgemental and adhering to the remit of the service
