The Work Rights Centre is looking for a motivated employment law expert to lead our growing training programme, and support the wider development of the charity.
Over the last few years our legal teams have delivered a number of successful training and capacity building programmes to other advice charities and local authorities - from short teaser sessions, to in-depth programmes that walked attendees through the core pillars of employment law over the course of several weeks.
We are now looking for an experienced trainer to join the charity, drive the development and delivery of our new exciting training programme, and support the ongoing growth of the charity.

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities
The Rota Coordinator:
- Welcomes and onboards new volunteers, allocating shifts that reflect their shift preferences

The CCSA is the trade association accelerating the commercial deployment Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (or CCUS) through advocacy and collaboration. Our ambition is to see CCUS developed and deployed at the pace and scale necessary to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and deliver sustainable growth across regions and nations. We represent a wide variety of organisations with an interest in the development and deployment of CCUS across many applications to decarbonise industries, power, and hydrogen production, and remove carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere.
The CCSA operates as a not-for-profit company, overseen by a board of elected members. We have 22 staff across our London & Brussels offices.
The role
We are a dynamic and agile organisation looking for a proactive and confident Events and Membership Officer to support the delivery of events and services to our 120+ members. As we are small team, all staff have the opportunity to develop and own their own work streams. For this role, we anticipate that the successful candidate will become responsible for end-to-end event delivery, as well as taking the lead on oversight of the CCSA website. The role will be managed by the Events and Membership Communications Manager, but will also work closely with the Head of Membership and equivalent colleagues in our EU office.

Events delivery
Organisation and delivery of our annual programme of 30+ events, from our flagship conferences through to webinars, and smaller member events. Including:
- Delivering a structured programme of in person events, webinars, workshops and site visits.

We are seeking an experienced people and operations leader who is passionate about the issues of mental health, poverty, and social justice that underpin our volunteer programmes. This role will help us drive even greater impact through our network of church partners.
They will be naturally relational, organised, and collaborative - empowering others to lead where they are and championing the vital role of the local church in community transformation. With an inquisitive and solution-focused mindset, they will be skilled at identifying and guiding new ways of working that strengthen efficiency, productivity and impact.
With excellent people, communication, and training skills, they will lead and develop a staff team responsible for volunteer management, embedding TLG’s culture and values across both programmes. Our new Head of Volunteer Programmes will be a leader who is both operationally sharp and relationally intuitive - able to pioneer with resilience and build a strong, healthy team culture that enables exceptional performance.

Frontline has achieved significant growth and impact in our first 11 years, and we are now recruiting a director to lead on ensuring our culture, operational and financial infrastructure enable us to continue to grow and drive change for children and families.
With a ~£25m budget and ~150 employees we rely on robust systems, a clear strategy and an enabling culture to support people to do great work to achieve our mission. Reporting to the CEO, the director of culture and operations (DCO) will develop our annual priorities and strategy. They will lead on strengthening and further embedding our culture of freedom and responsibility by providing excellent operational leadership across Frontline. To effectively operate a culture of freedom and responsibility we need robust financial controls, excellent governance and strong relationships at our foundation – as DCO you will ensure these foundations are in place – and build on them.

As DOC you will lead on galvanising our leadership group to ensure they have the necessary resources, collective focus and communication channels across teams nationally. Some key responsibilities include:
- People – Lead the people team to identify new and creative ways to further strengthen our culture of freedom and responsibility
- Finance – Manage the head of finance and compliance, supporting them and the finance team to deliver sound financial controls/clear reporting and manage an annual budget of £25m – ensuring financial capability and clear cross-team communication
- Governance – Work with the chair of FARC (and other subcommittees as relevant) to ensure they are taking a strategic view on key issues, providing appropriate challenge and timely decisions (e.g. in budget process).
- Management of external contracts and relationships – Manage the contract governance manager with responsibility for DfE/university contracts and regulatory approval, ensuring effective governance and compliance

The role
We’re looking for a proactive Property Services Officer to support the delivery of safe, compliant homes, with a strong focus on Awaab’s Law, damp and mould, and HHSRS compliance.
You will coordinate repairs, compliance works and void property repairs and improvements, working closely with surveyors, contractors and housing colleagues to ensure works are delivered on time, to standard and in line with service level agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management of damp and mould cases, tracking actions and timescales in line with Awaab’s Law and HHSRS
- Coordinate responsive repairs, compliance works and property repairs, ensuring completion targets and SLAs are met
- Liaise with contractors to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to the required standard
- Monitor progress, chase outstanding actions and escalate delays or quality concerns where needed
- Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation and audit trails
- Assist with contractor compliance checks and invoicing processes

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Oxford Skylight as a Receptionist. You will be there to welcome people who are homeless seeking advice and start the process of helping them to end their homelessness.
You will support the team to manage a busy working environment, welcoming and supporting a range of people including new Skylight members, current members, members of the public using the café or arts facilities, staff, Crisis volunteers and visitors. You will provide administrative support for this fast and responsive service to those newly presenting as homeless. You will also carry out administration and housekeeping functions relating to the customer service and facilities management of the Old Fire Station. This role is based onsite with no option for homeworking.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with experience of working within a reception or administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who understand the issues faced by homeless people and is excited to learn about the ways we can support them. You will be able to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs, to reach a positive resolution through a calm and confident approach.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups and individuals. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and all the other activities taking place within the building.
