Harris Hill is delighted to be partnering with Age UK Oxfordshire, supporting their search for an interim Head of Income Growth.
This 6 month contract will cover a permanent recruitment period, working hybrid based, with 3 days per week in Abingdon and the rest of the week working remotely.
Working closely with the CEO to ensure the charity’s ambitions, as described in the Strategy to 2030 and the 2026–27 Plan on a Page are delivered, the role holder will proactively lead integrated fundraising, marketing, and communications work. The role is pivotal in aligning planning and tactical decisions to build a sustainable income engine, strengthening the charity’s profile, performance, and impact at scale.
Role Description
1. Income strategy and delivery
Lead the development and delivery of a clear, evidence-based income growth strategy, diversifying and growing income streams to deliver the charity’s agreed income ambitions and reduce reliance on any single source.
2. Integrated fundraising, marketing, and communications
Hold full accountability for all fundraising, marketing and communications activity, ensuring strategy, brand, propositions, campaigns, and channels are integrated, coherent and focused on measurable impact.
3. Supporter growth and engagement
Grow and deepen relationships with supporters, including donors, volunteers, ambassadors and advocates, increasing participation, loyalty, and lifetime value in line with our strategic ambitions.
4. Insight, data, and performance discipline
Use insight, data, and performance management to inform decision-making, strengthen propositions, improve return on investment, and give the CEO and Board a clear grip on income and engagement performance.
5. Leadership, culture, and capability
Lead and line-manage all fundraising, marketing and communications staff, setting clear priorities, expectations and accountability, and building a confident, high-performing culture aligned with the organisation’s values and Principles.
6. Organisational leadership and profile-raising
Act as the organisation’s most senior income and external-engagement leader, working closely with the CEO and trustees to raise the charity’s profile, influence, and credibility, contributing actively to collective leadership and strategic delivery.
Experience
Substantial senior-level experience across most areas of income generation, including at least two from:
Proven experience of successfully leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing people, including line management and leadership through influence/matrix working to deliver shared outcomes.
Experience demonstrating a strong understanding of integrated income and engagement models, with proficiency in leading fundraising, marketing, and communications as a joined-up system rather than discrete functions.
A proven record of developing and implementing income or growth strategy aligned to organisational purpose, values and long-term direction, including delivering measurable results or step-change improvement.

About the Role
As the External Affairs and Strategy Specialist, you will help shape Waythrough’s external influence, ensuring the organisation understands and responds to an increasingly complex political, policy and social environment. ABOUT THE ROLE
Start Network has an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Engagement Officer to join our growing Resource Mobilisation team. The role supports donor engagement and income growth, working with trusts, foundations and corporate funders to build strong, long term relationships through high quality stewardship, communications and engagement.

OUR FUNDRAISING
SBP is a growing organisation with an exciting portfolio of nature recovery projects across Scotland. Our key income streams include grants from charitable trusts, foundations and statutory bodies, philanthropic donations, corporate partnerships, regular giving and appeals. We have a strong track record in fundraising from trusts and foundations, and we are currently in receipt of grants from Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other significant environmental funders.
Our Fundraising Team comprises a Rewilding Investment Lead (who develops corporate partnerships) and a Trusts and Foundations Lead, led by our Fundraising Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Trusts and Foundations Lead, you would establish and maintain relationships with a wide portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, and be responsible for securing both project-specific and core income.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifying and researching funding opportunities, including due diligence as appropriate.
Networking, and building and stewarding relationships with prospective funders.
Liaising with senior, project and finance staff to identify, prioritise and cost key fundraising needs.
Managing a dynamic pipeline of applications matched to the agreed fundraising priorities.
Preparing and submitting compelling expressions of interest and funding proposals, including accurate financial information as required.
Processing grant offers and ensuring income is recorded accurately.
Managing a schedule of reporting and stewardship deadlines to ensure timely feedback and thanks to funders.
Securing progress updates from colleagues delivering funded work, in order to produce high-quality reports that meet funders’ requirements.
Seeking feedback in relation to unsuccessful bids, in order to guide and strengthen future proposals.
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records on our fundraising CRM database.
Contributing to the development of fundraising strategies, plans and campaigns.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Salary: £35,500 - £37,500 FTE, depending on experience. Salaries are paid on the last working day of each month by bank transfer and cover the period of the first of the month to the last day of the month.
Contract: Permanent position.
Place of work: This role is home-based and will require a suitable home office working environment. SBP will provide a laptop and additional equipment as needed.
Travel: Attendance of team meetings held across Scotland will be required (typically two to three times per year), and the role may also involve occasional travel elsewhere within the UK. Travel expenses will be paid in accordance with SBP’s expenses policy. Applicants must be based within a reasonable commuting distance and must have the right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship).
Hours: We are open to this role being full-time or part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE, equating to
22.5 hours per week). Working hours are flexible. The nature of the post may require occasional evening and weekend work. Paid overtime is not routinely available, but time off in lieu will
be given.
Flexibility: Subject to ensuring that the needs of the charity and the role are met, SBP endeavours to meet the flexible working needs of its staff.
Holidays: 28 days FTE (pro rata for part-time), including public holidays, plus 5 additional office closure days between Christmas and New Year.
Pensions: We offer a workplace pension scheme with a 5% employee contribution and 3% employer contribution.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Notice Period: 1 month during the probationary period, thereafter 2 months.

We Are Survivors is a survivor-focused voluntary sector organisation that aims to create and facilitate safe spaces for male (including trans and non-binary individuals) survivors of sexual harms across Greater Manchester, providing access to quality-assured support. Our work is focused on developing ways for individuals to empower themselves to work through personal and sometimes painful issues, guided and supported by our trauma-informed team, following the trauma and recovery model.

The Outside Outspoken Navigator supports men as they leave prison or another secure setting and begin rebuilding their lives in the community. This role provides intensive, practical case management, helping individuals navigate the challenges of release by connecting them with services such as GP practices, housing, benefits, employment, and wider community support. The aim is to reduce barriers, promote stability, and help people establish a positive foundation for the future.
You'll be someone who is comfortable working with trauma and has experience in mental health, support, or community engagement. We're particularly interested in hearing from people who have worked with men, sexual

The Clinical Supervisor at 2wish plays a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and resilience of staff by providing structured, reflective supervision. Working with colleagues who are regularly exposed to highly sensitive and traumatic situations, the supervisor offers a safe and confidential space to process experiences, explore emotional responses, and develop coping strategies. Through regular one-to-one and, where appropriate, group supervision sessions, the role helps ensure staff feel supported, maintain professional boundaries, and sustain their ability to deliver high-quality care.
