ABOUT THE ROLE 

Team: Strategy and Engagement/ Policy and Communications 

As the Head of Policy and Communications you will lead our policy, communications and influencing work in England, helping to increase support for walking, wheeling and cycling. As a key member of the Policy and Communications leadership team, you will raise the profile of Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, strengthen engagement with supporters and influence decision-makers to create positive change. 

Working closely with senior leaders, you will shape political strategy, develop clear and compelling messages, and build strong relationships with policymakers, partners and stakeholders. You will use evidence, insight and collaboration to influence national policy and help deliver our UK-wide goals. 

This is an exciting opportunity to drive real change by championing healthier, greener and more accessible journeys for everyone. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Lead our influencing work with the UK Government and coordinating that with our influencing work with the other three nations, government agencies, mayors and regional policymakers.

• Build trusted relationships with UK Government policymakers and partners who share our goals. 

• Provide strategic advice to the charity’s senior leaders on communications and political risks and opportunities. 

• Lead our UK-wide and England focused media and communications team, building and protecting the charity’s reputation. 

• Working with the Head of Brand and Marketing to plan and implement our supporter engagement campaigns. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading both communications and public affairs for a cause, working with others internally and externally to achieve positive change.

About the Role

As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records on a bespoke case management system
• Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support.
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer
• Work as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

You will need:

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including the ability to navigate and utilise bespoke case management systems effectively and an ability to use Microsoft Office applications to a high standard
• Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.
• To work effectively both as part of a team & independently
• To develop & maintain partnerships with internal & external organisations.
• The ability to maintain professional boundaries & confidentiality.

Ambition Aspire Achieve is seeking an exceptional, values-led Chief Executive to lead our much-loved children and young people’s charity into its next chapter.

About the Role

As a Service Delivery Assistant, you will provide high quality administrative support to the service. You will act as a first point of contact for enquiries into the service and support the wider team with administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upload referrals to our computerised case management system, in accordance with our standards.

Mind works across England and Wales with 11 staff at Mind Cymru's Cardiff office. Mind Cymru also works closely with our 15 affiliated Local Minds in all parts of Wales.

The Business Administrator works directly to the Director and supports the Senior Management Team (SMT), and is responsible for the effective running of the office, including dealing with correspondences, diaries and meetings and internal systems, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Stakeholder Register, Decision Time, Smartsheet's and Risk Management systems, keeping these up-to-date in support of the SMT.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

-Effectively manage the efficient working of the Director's office being the first point of contact and providing administrative support and coordination across all functions, i.e. planning, risk, budget, training and general office activity.

-Organise and plan diaries, to optimise time, making travel and other arrangements as required.

-Be responsible for managing and responding to correspondence to the Director, identifying appropriate action and responses.

-Set up internal and external meetings as required and ensure the smooth running of these by setting dates, ensuring papers go out in good time, booking rooms and refreshments, taking accurate minutes and being proactive in following up actions arising.

-Provide high level customer care in dealing with routine and non-routine enquiries from staff, local Minds, external stakeholders using judgement to take or decide on appropriate action.

-Provide secretariat and administrative support for governance and other fora including Pwyllgor Cymru - the governance sub-committee for Wales; One Mind in Wales - the local Mind network in Wales; and The Wales Alliance for Mental Health - the alliance of leading mental health charities in Wales which is Chaired by the Director of Mind Cymru.

-Be the first point of contact for key members of the above groups and, with the Director, manage relations with them.

-Be responsible for co-ordinating and supporting meetings and be pro-active in ensuring that actions arising from the meetings are followed up.

-In keeping with the level of access and trust commensurate with this role, the post holder is required to maintain and observe an appropriate level of confidentiality at all times.

-Process invoices and make payments via Minds internal accounting processes, being planned and accurate in line with delegated responsibility.

-Work closely with the Social Impact Directorate Executive Assistant when required to ensure coordination with Mind Cymru and the wider Directorate plans, meetings and commitments.

About The Role
Every story matters here. Some are quiet, some joyful, some hard to tell. As a Video Production Executive at Alzheimer’s Society, you will help bring these stories to life with care, honesty and craft.
You will join a creative team that believes in storytelling as a force for understanding, challenge and change. Working with the Video Production Manager, you will create and edit content across social media, interviews, campaign films and longer-form storytelling.
This role has a strong focus on editing and post-production. We’re looking for someone who enjoys shaping stories in the edit: finding the right moments, building pace and structure, working with sound and graphics, and turning raw footage into engaging, polished content.
People come to this role from many paths, whether film or media training, freelance work, community storytelling or self-taught practice. What matters most is strong editing ability, a good instinct for storytelling and a commitment to creating inclusive, respectful work.
What you’ll do
You will work across the production process, but a significant part of your role will be focused on editing and post-production, supporting everything from quick-turnaround social content to interviews, campaign films and longer, story-led pieces.
Using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar professional editing software, alongside tools such as After Effects where appropriate, you will edit raw footage into clear and engaging stories. You will make confident decisions around narrative, pacing, music, sound and visual treatment, as well as adapting content for different channels and formats.
You will create cutdowns and different versions of content, add subtitles and graphics, and apply accessibility best practice so our work can reach as many people as possible.
You will also have opportunities to support filming and production. This may include shooting interviews and documentary-style content, setting up lighting and sound, and helping to create a calm, respectful environment where people feel comfortable sharing their experiences.
Alongside editing and filming, you will support production planning and logistics, including call sheets, scheduling and risk assessments, and contribute creative ideas about how our stories can be brought to life.
Collaboration is central. You will work closely with the Video Production Manager and colleagues across our creative and wider teams, respond constructively to feedback and help ensure finished content is delivered accurately and consistently across platforms including social media, YouTube and internal channels.
About you

You may have:

- Experience working across the full video production process, from pre-production through to filming and editing
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (and ideally After Effects), with the ability to edit content to a high standard
- Practical experience recording sound and working with lighting in documentary or factual filming environments
- Experience working on story-led content, including supporting people to share personal or sensitive experiences in a respectful and ethical way
- An understanding of motion graphics, or a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area
- A collaborative and inclusive working style, with strong organisation skills and a commitment to accessible, high-quality storytelling

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Contract: Fixed term contract - secondment opportunity until 31 March 2027, with the possibility of extension

About the role

CTI is part of a housing-led response to ending homelessness. CTI is an evidence-based model, designed for times of transition for people who require support to navigate often fragmented systems. It uses a time limited case management approach to support people through a period of transition which works towards preventing and ending homelessness.

The model is strictly time limited and prescriptive in its application and Crisis’ CTI pilot will run close to the CTI principles. The timing of movement through the phases is defined by the Programme model.

CTI consists of four main phases:

1. Pre CTI: in which the relationship with the client is developed and their goals and ambitions are identified, (no timescale – could be days, months or years)
2. Transition: providing support & beginning to connect client to people and agencies that will assume the primary role of support and enable them to meet their goals (3 months)
3. Try out: monitoring and strengthening support network and client’s skills (3 months)
4. Transfer of care: terminating CTI and stepping right back (3 months)

The post holder will be working within the framework of CTI, supporting prison leavers from prison into accommodation, thus preventing homelessness on release from custody.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have experience of delivering person centred support with statutory and non-statutory services within the criminal justice system, offering coaching and mentoring, learning support and/or personal development training, ideally working to matrix standards. You will also have an appreciation of delivering this within a time limited framework.

You will demonstrate knowledge of issues affecting homeless or vulnerably housed individuals which could include mental illness, addiction, the benefit system and housing. Being committed to empowering homeless and vulnerably housed individuals is essential to this role.
