We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Outreach Executive who is passionate about the mission of Smart Works Birmingham and committed to helping more women access the support they need to secure employment.
In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners across Birmingham and the Midlands, increasing awareness of our service and driving referrals. You will represent Smart Works Birmingham at community events, job fairs, networking opportunities, and stakeholder meetings, acting as a representative for the charity and identifying opportunities for partnership working.
A key part of the role will be supporting the delivery of our Empowering Diverse Communities projects, working with organisations that support women facing additional barriers to employment, including young women, women from minority ethnic communities, women with disabilities and women with offending backgrounds. Through targeted outreach and partnership development, you will help ensure that more women from underrepresented communities can access our service and achieve their career goals.
Working closely with the wider team, you will play an important role in delivering our strategic objectives and helping us expand our reach and impact across the region.

We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our Stroke Recovery Service in Sheffield.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to provide support following a stroke.
Position: 000016 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based Sheffield. However, extensive travel across the region will be required as part of this role (including team meetings and other work related meetings)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

The Role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will deliver high-quality, person-centred support to stroke survivors and their carers/family members across Sheffield.
You will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting newly diagnosed stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
· Supporting a diverse caseload including anyone experiencing communication or cognitive difficulties
· Providing support via a combination of face-to-face visits, telephone calls, emails or letters and digital methods (such as video calls).
· Using a person-centred and person first approach to provide specific, tailored information, advice and support to stroke survivors and their carers.
· Empowering stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to live life well after stroke.
· Working with other health and social care professionals across the stroke pathway to ensure high quality support.
· Working from home but as part of a team of coordinators.
· Delivering stroke support groups in the area.
· Visiting stroke survivors in hospital to introduce the Stroke Recovery Service and provide information and support.
About You
You will have:
· Experience working with people within a health and/or social care profession or other caring capacity.
· Experience of maintaining accurate records using IT skills and database systems.

This role requires extensive travel across the service area to visit people at home, in hospital and community settings as well as running groups across Sheffield and also travel further afield for team and Locality meetings. About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. What you'll do:
* Support the Area Service Manager to drive business planning activities within your contract, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary
* Support the Area Service Manager, using sound financial and accounting principles, manage contract budgets to deliver on corporate and local contract financial targets
* Successfully lead and motivate the team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service

Tabard Court is a mental health supported accommodation for individual with significant offending histories and complex mental health needs.
What you'll do:
1. Keyworking, Support Planning & Recovery
? Hold a keyworking caseload (typically 4-6 customers), meeting each customer regularly for structured keywork sessions focused on mental health, risk, daily living skills and recovery goals.
? Complete and regularly review support plans, risk management plans and crisis plans with customers and the wider team, ensuring they are meaningful, co-produced and linked to clear, achievable outcomes.
2. Risk Management & Safeguarding
? Undertake initial and ongoing assessments of risk and need, including dynamic risk indicators
(e.g. changes in behaviour, non-engagement, relapse indicators), and escalate concerns promptly.
3. Day-to-day Support & Service delivery
? Provide practical support with daily living skills (e.g. budgeting, shopping, appointments, selfcare, routines) to enable customers to build independence and sustain their accommodation.

About you:
Experience & Knowledge
? NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
? Experience of working with people with significant mental health needs, ideally in forensic or criminal justice settings (secure services, probation, prison, step-down or similar).
? Understanding of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed approaches in mental health.
? Awareness of risk assessment and risk management processes in forensic mental health (e.g. working with index offences, relapse indicators, safeguarding, conditions of discharge or licence).
? Experience of keyworking or case management, including multi-agency liaison and report writing.
? Comfortable working in a structured environment with policies, procedures and clear documentation standards, while remaining flexible and responsive to individual need.
