Construction Youth Trust is an ambitious, impact-led organisation pushing the boundaries of how charities work in partnership with business to create social change. The role

Construction Youth Trust is in a strong financial position with an excellent Fundraising & Partnership team, supported by well-established systems. We already have a strong pipeline in place to meet our fundraising targets (£2M - £2.5M p.a.) This is an opportunity for a Senior Fundraising Leader with the skills and experience to consolidate and build on this success. We are looking for someone with the drive and experience to help the Trust meet our ambition to significantly increase opportunity for disadvantaged young people within the build environment.

We are seeking a Head of Fundraising & Partnerships with a strong desire to play an active Senior Leadership role and contribute to the Trust’s wider strategy, governance and day-to-day charity management. There is the opportunity to play a significant role shaping and steering the Trust’s next business planning cycle. Ideally, the post-holder would be willing/able to deputise for the CEO and the salary offered to the successful candidate will be dependent on experience and level of responsibility.  There is significant headroom at the Trust for a fundraising leader who is looking to take on a more strategic role within this dynamic charity, either immediately or with structured development and support.

Role Purpose

The Head of Philanthropy is accountable for delivering significant philanthropic income for Justice & Care, including through personally secured major gifts, alongside building and leading a high-performing philanthropy function.

The postholder will design and execute the philanthropy strategy, hold and actively manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, and personally secure five- and sixfigure gifts through direct relationship management and solicitation.

Global Scope

This role will support the growth of philanthropy across multiple markets, including strengthening the UK portfolio and developing opportunities in the US and emerging markets (e.g. Middle East), working closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver market-specific approaches. 

Main Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:

1. Strategic Leadership and Income Delivery

• Lead the development and delivery of the philanthropy strategy, with a clear focuson generating major donor income in the UK and driving growth in the US and emerging markets
• Be accountable for achieving philanthropy income targets, including through personally secured major gifts, working closely with the Global Director of Fundraising
• Translate organisational priorities into fundable propositions and compelling donor opportunities

2. Major Gifts and New Business

• Personally secure new major gifts through one-to-one relationship building, tailored proposals and direct asks
• Develop and maintain a live pipeline of prospective donors with clearly defined next steps
• Take primary responsibility for preparing and delivering high-value asks, working closely with the CEO, Board members and Global Director of Fundraising
• Convert access to senior networks into tangible income outcomes

3. Team Leadership and Development

• Line manage and develop the Philanthropy Specialist and future members of the team
• Build capability within the team to support pipeline growth, donor stewardship and future expansion of the philanthropy function
• Establish strong ways of working, including prioritisation, pipeline management and CRM discipline
• Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team

4. Events and Strategic Engagement

• Design and lead a programme of philanthropic events with clear income andpipeline objectives
• Personally leverage high-value donor events to progress relationships towards major gifts
• Use international engagement and trips selectively where they support donor cultivation and solicitation
• Represent Justice & Care in philanthropic networks to generate new donor relationships

5. Pipeline, CRM and Reporting

• Own and maintain a live, decision-ready major donor pipeline
• Ensure robust pipeline management and accurate forecasting
• Maintain high-quality CRM data and reporting (Salesforce)
• Provide strategic insight on income performance, risks and opportunities

6. Other ad hoc duties

• Collaborate across the organisation to support delivery of shared objectives

Where you’ll fit in

You will join an ambitious Marketing and Communications team focused on raising the Royal Hospital's profile, supporting fundraising, and engaging new audiences. Reporting to the Digital Product Manager, you will play a central role in maintaining the Royal Hospital's digital presence - working closely with colleagues across the organisation to manage platforms in a way that reflects its standards and distinctive character.

What you’ll be doing

You will manage the Royal Hospital Chelsea website and its associated digital platforms, ensuring they remain accurate, accessible, and well maintained.

You will:

• Manage and maintain website content, structure and assets in Drupal
• Act as the first point of contact for website updates and internal requests
• Support digital platforms including ecommerce and ticketing systems
• Support the implementation and ongoing administration of a Digital Asset Management System, ensuring assets are well organised, tagged and used consistently across the organisation
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Tag Manager, supporting campaign tracking, reporting and SEO performance. Experience with Google Ads would be an advantage.
• Coordinate with external suppliers to deliver updates and improvements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has hands-on experience managing websites in Drupal or a comparable CMS
• Is technically confident, proactively identifies issues and opportunities, and knows when to resolve them independently and when to escalate
• Is organised and methodical, able to manage multiple priorities
• Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Takes ownership of day-to-day platform operation, maintaining high standards consistently over time
• Is comfortable working within a structured, heritage-led organisation

About the team

The Legacy & In Memory (LIM) Marketing Team is responsible for increasing awareness and consideration for gifts in wills and/or an in memory gift. The team develop and deliver cross- funnel and multi-channel legacy consideration campaigns, supporter journeys and engage staff in the cross promotion of gifts in wills and in memory giving.

Our legacy income is growing, and the activities the LIM Marketing Team delivers is leading to long-term income growth to ensure that future generations around the world can change their lives with clean water.

About the role

As our Legacy & In Memory Senior Marketing Officer you will deliver a range of compelling communications to increase consideration for legacy giving and implement personalised stewardship journeys for our legacy and in memory supporters, as well as delivering engaging thank you events, and work closely with the Legacy & In Memory Marketing Manager to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Plan, manage and execute print, email and digital campaigns across the marketing funnel to raise consideration for legacy giving
• Deliver exceptional stewardship, through personal communication journeys, for our Legacy and In Memory supporters
• Manage a legacy and high value supporter event programme
• Operate a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Proven experience in a direct marketing or supporter engagement role
• Proven experience in delivering and/or supporting on events
• Experience of developing and implementing supporter journeys across multiple channels
• A working style that reflects WaterAid’s values of Respect, Accountability, Courage, Collaboration, Integrity and Innovation.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• A recognised direct marketing qualification
• Experience of legacy or in memory fundraising

As Southwark Cathedral’s Audience Development Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to monitor visitor numbers and build new audiences. Leading on impact and evaluation, you will develop strategies to attract new visitors, engaging existing audiences, and improve the overall visitor experience.

You will collaborate on projects related to the Cathedral’s marketing, visitor engagement and cultural events programme.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop and implement strategies to attract new audiences and deepen engagement with existing ones through various channels like social media, email, and events.

· Work with the Head of Engagement to improve the visitor experience to encourage repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth

· Work with the Communications Team to create and manage marketing campaigns to promote the Cathedral and its offerings

· Attend Cathedral public events and programming to gather relevant data and audience feedback

· Build creative and engaging forms of visitor feedback that captures qualitative and quantitative data key to the building of an audience-led Engagement programme

· Work with the Engagement team to plan and execute audience-led programming to attract visitors and enhance engagement, such as concerts, lectures, or tours, delivering on the new Engagement Strategy

· Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of audience development efforts

· Work with other departments, including marketing, fundraising, and education, to achieve the Cathedral’s vision and mission values

· Working with the Head of Engagement, CFO and COO to manage budgets related to audience development activities

· Develop and implement an audience development strategy and an evaluation framework that aligns with the Cathedral's overall goals

· Lead on data and feedback analysis and the building of reports to inform key stakeholders and SLT of Cathedral programming

From managing content workflows to producing engaging social content, your work will help ensure our audiences can make informed choices about alcohol.
