The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls, exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs, and facing barriers to social protection.
The Head of Policy and Public Affairs will provide strategic leadership in developing and delivering LAWRS’ key influencing and media priorities and policy positions. This 6 month contract will cover a permanent recruitment period, working hybrid based with 3 days per month in Abingdon.
Working closely with the CEO to ensure the charity’s ambitions, as described in the Strategy to 2030 and the 2026–27 Plan on a Page are delivered, the role holder will proactively lead integrated fundraising, marketing, and communications work. Role Description
1. Income strategy and delivery

5. Leadership, culture, and capability
Lead and line-manage all fundraising, marketing and communications staff, setting clear priorities, expectations and accountability, and building a confident, high-performing culture aligned with the organisation’s values and Principles.
6. Organisational leadership and profile-raising
Act as the organisation’s most senior income and external-engagement leader, working closely with the CEO and trustees to raise the charity’s profile, influence,
and credibility, contributing actively to collective leadership and strategic delivery.
Experience
Substantial senior-level experience across most areas of income generation, including at least two from:
• voluntary income (e.g. trusts & foundations, legacies, individuals, community)
• marketing and communications
• supporter or audience growth and engagement
• digital fundraising or campaigns

Proven experience of successfully leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing people, including line management and leadership through influence/matrix working to deliver shared outcomes.
Experience demonstrating a strong understanding of integrated income and
engagement models, with proficiency in leading fundraising, marketing, and communications as a joined-up system rather than discrete functions.
A proven record of developing and implementing income or growth strategy aligned to organisational purpose, values and long-term direction, including delivering measurable results or step-change improvement.

Job Summary
Working closely with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role will support the delivery of high value corporate partnerships, including stewardship and engagement activities, as well as business development, identifying opportunities with aligned brands and up-coming charity of the year applications, to develop new corporate partnerships. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with one day a week in the office in West London, and expectation to attend partner events where required.
You will be a creative, organised and reliable individual, ideally with experience in a fundraising team, supporting corporate partnerships or community fundraising. An excellent communicator, able to manage your time effectively and build good working relationships, you will support the Income team to deliver and secure corporate partnerships, working with colleagues across the charity to identify opportunities for engagement.

About the Role
The Academy Administration Assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the delivery of the Frank Williams Academy education programme. The postholder will support the coordination of training courses, study days, conferences and online learning activities across face‑to‑face, virtual and hybrid delivery formats, as well as support for project activity. They will ensure the smooth running of booking processes, communications and event logistics, while maintaining accurate records and systems.
Working closely with other members of the Academy team under the line management of the Education and Development Coordinator, the role will contribute to high-quality learner experiences by supporting scheduling, responding to enquiries, maintaining learning systems and assisting with post‑event processes including feedback collection and reporting.
The role is key to ensuring that Academy activity is delivered efficiently, professionally and in line with organisational standards and priorities.

2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death. We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales and the bordering counties in England, including; Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset, with the plan to continue to roll out support to the whole of England. We work in partnership with professionals who refer int the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
Context of role:

The Partnerships Coordinator provides coordination, administrative and relationship support across corporate partnerships, event sponsorship and partner stewardship.
Working closely with the Partnerships Manager, the role supports activity across Wales and England, ensuring partner engagement is well organised, accurately recorded and followed up.
The postholder will work with fundraising, events, marketing and regional colleagues to support a joined-up approach to partnership delivery.
The role will involve travel across Wales and England, with some evening and weekend work required.

What we do for you:
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.
Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

About the Role
