The role

As a Board Member you will be responsible for:

About the Service

The Social Support service delivers flexible and person-centred support across our Wellbeing Centres in St Albans, Hatfield, and Stevenage. The service is designed to respond to the individual needs of clients, supporting people to improve their wellbeing, build confidence, reduce feelings of isolation, and access community services and resources.

About the Role

The role involves managing a one-to-one client caseload while contributing to the delivery of Social Support Groups. Through personalised support, the post holder will offer emotional support and empower individuals to focus on what matters most to them, working towards meaningful and achievable changes in in their lives.

As a Peer Support Worker you will:

• Offer 1-1 support in St Albans, Hatfield and Stevenage, and within other HMN Wellbeing Centres across the County depending on client need and waiting lists
• Deliver Social Support Groups within our Wellbeing Centres
• Work with clients to identify their individual needs and support them through a personalised, person-centred approach
• Support clients in a variety of settings, including within the community, their home, and our Wellbeing Centres
• Play an integral role in embedding HMN’s values through our 1-1 and group support
• Play a key part in the development and delivery of our groups
• Ensure the consistent delivery of a high quality, responsive service that promotes wellbeing and positive outcomes for clients

The successful candidate will have a great understanding and proven skills of delivering mental health services, proven skills around working with adults with mental health needs, an understanding of the relationship between mental health and social issues and how these issues may impact on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and Significant proven knowledge of models and services to meet the needs of adults with mental health needs. They will also have experience of working in both group settings and 1:1 and creating and reviewing dynamic risk assessments and support plans.

Are you ready to take the next step into a senior leadership role and shape the future of dementia services across West Sussex?

We are looking for a Local Services Manager to join our team on a permanent, part time basis, working 21 hours per week. The role is homebased, with flexible hours between 9am and 5pm.
You will cover West Sussex, so regular travel and access to a vehicle are essential. Each Tuesday, you will work from our Horsham office to support and directly manage local volunteers. Mileage claims will be paid from the West Sussex border.

You will also work with colleagues across the wider Sussex area to support regional service development and strengthen provision for people affected by dementia.
This is a high impact leadership opportunity to lead the delivery and ongoing development of our dementia support services across a diverse and largely rural county.

You will play a critical role in ensuring people affected by dementia receive high-quality, accessible and person-centred support, while working within a well-established, innovative, grant-funded contract.

About the role

We are growing our specialist Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Team and are looking for exceptional people to join us as Adult ISVAs, Children and Young People’s ISVAs (CHISVAs), and a Family ISVA.

You do not need to have worked as an ISVA, CHISVA or Family ISVA before. For applicants who are not already qualified, Lincolnshire Rape Crisis will fully fund the accredited ISVA qualification relevant to your role. As an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA), you will provide specialist, trauma-informed and survivor-centred advocacy to survivors across Lincolnshire. You will support individuals whether or not they choose to report to the police, helping them understand their rights and options, access appropriate services and make informed decisions about their support.

For clients who choose to report, you will help them navigate every stage of the criminal justice process, from making an initial report and progressing through a police investigation to decisions made by the Crown Prosecution Service and any subsequent court proceedings. You will explain complex processes in a clear and accessible way, provide regular updates, liaise with criminal justice agencies, support clients to prepare for court and attend court with them where required.

You will provide consistent, independent advocacy throughout each client’s journey, ensuring their voice, choices and wellbeing remain central. You will work closely with the police, courts, Crown Prosecution Service, health services, safeguarding teams and voluntary-sector partners, while remaining independent from the criminal justice system.

The role includes managing a varied caseload, developing individual support and safety plans, identifying and responding to risk, maintaining accurate and confidential records, and advocating confidently on behalf of clients. You will be supported by an experienced management team, regular supervision, specialist training and a wider multidisciplinary team passionate about delivering exceptional services.

What We Are Looking For

This role involves providing intensive, person-centred support to women in a residential setting. You will co-produce Support and Safety Plans with residents, focusing on their strengths and goals, and offer advice on safety, domestic abuse, housing, and independent living. Responsibilities also include liaising with statutory bodies on safeguarding matters, supporting move-on accommodation, and promoting empowerment through workshops and social activities. The role follows “The Hestia Approach,” prioritising co-production, recovery, and partnership with service users.

Applicants should have experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs, including mental health issues and substance misuse. Reporting to the Advocacy and Complex Needs Manager for the region, key responsibilities will include:

- Complete effective and efficient case management of circa 20 complex beneficiary cases; ensuring case records are maintained, accurate and up to date.

- Complete visits with beneficiaries in their homes to assess need, build and maintain positive, professional relationships, build engagement, review progress and provide practical, person-centred support.

- Work holistically with beneficiaries to explore their full range of needs, identify and agree their priorities, and develop a clear, person-centred support and action plan.
- Provide specialist advice and advocacy, identify appropriate statutory and external services, including mental health, addiction and substance misuse, and housing services, and support beneficiaries with referrals.
- Work collaboratively with beneficiaries and partner agencies to overcome barriers, coordinate support around agreed priorities, and provide practical and motivational support throughout.

Face to face work with beneficiaries is an important part of the role, and the successful candidate will need to be able to travel across the designated area to meet beneficiaries in their homes or other appropriate community locations (travelling within working hours).You must live within the Staffordshire or Shropshire area.Other periodic travel will be required for team meetings.

The Expeditions & Fieldwork Officer will join a specialised team at a time of transition and growth, helping to expand the Society's capacity to support expedition and fieldwork practitioners and reinforce its position as an international leader in geographical exploration.

Drawing upon first-hand experience of expeditions or field research, the post holder will support the delivery of the Society's advice, information, training and outreach activities. They will act as a key point of contact for the exploration community, assisting with enquiries, maintaining specialist information resources and contributing to the development of practical guidance and publications.

The role combines operational and administrative responsibilities with support for a wide range of public engagement activities. This includes producing the Society's monthly exploration community bulletin, helping to organise training for grant recipients, maintaining exploration directories and databases, creating digital resources, and supporting the delivery of events including the annual RGS Explore Weekend.

The successful candidate will bring experience of expeditions or fieldwork together with strong communication, organisational and digital skills. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, they will help ensure the Society's support for modern geographical exploration remains rigorous, accessible and impactful as the community continues to grow.

Salary and Benefits:

This is a permanent, full-time post subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months. The salary range for this post is £30,295 to £32,930 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. The post is based in Kensington, London.

About the role

This is a people-focused role for someone who enjoys picking up the phone, starting conversations and building genuine relationships.

You don't need previous legacy fundraising experience. You could come from customer service, account management, telesales, supporter care, fundraising or another relationship-focused role. What's important is that you're confident speaking with people, motivated by achieving results and excited by the opportunity to work for a charity.

You'll build relationships with existing supporters, helping them understand the difference they can make through their ongoing support and the possibility of leaving a gift in their Will. You'll manage your own portfolio of supporters, developing relationships from initial conversations through to longer-term engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Making proactive outbound calls to existing supporters and having warm, engaging conversations.
