Who we are:
Hope is here. The Global Returns Project (GRP) is a UK charity unlocking new philanthropy to deliver urgent solutions for our planet.
We are a fast-moving nonprofit that makes donations to high-impact nature and climate charities simple – and we don’t take any fees. We’ve already mobilised over £3 million for top environmental solutions and are working to unlock at least £30 million annually by the end of the decade.
We are growing quickly: Last year's annual fundraising was nearly triple the previous year's.
The problem: Charities protecting our planet can turn the tide on climate change and nature loss. They have the skills, strategies and networks to deliver fast and global impact. But less than 2% of philanthropy goes to climate mitigation.
Our solution: In the UK alone, around £2 trillion sits with “HNW+” individuals – those holding between £100k and £30 million. Yet traditional philanthropy largely overlooks them. We’re unlocking this funding by offering trusted, pro bono advice and a simple, portfolio approach to giving. Our expertise in UK wealth advice offers a unique path to scalability and systems-change.
What we are looking for:
Job Title: Philanthropy Officer
We're looking for an organised, proactive Philanthropy Officer to support our work engaging high-net-worth individuals and the wealth advisers who refer them to our work, maintaining a strong pipeline of partners and donors.
You'll support prospecting and, where appropriate, outreach and relationship management across wealth adviser partnerships, helping to grow our referrals and giving channels. Alongside this, you'll help coordinate the logistics and admin behind our Planet Adviser Network, helping build and sustain the pool of wealth advisers collaborating with us.
On the HNW side, you'll support contact mapping across GRP's donors, contacts and Board to help identify high-net-worth individuals and families, and support relationship management with them when appropriate.
The ideal candidate will be excited to take on admin and logistics for major donor stewardship: including our Planet Leadership Circle, support of big and small HNW events, helping produce major donor impact materials (including reports), and other stewardship touches.
You’ll thrive in a small, fast-moving team – taking initiative, being collaborative, and contributing to shared goals. Crucially, you’ll care deeply about climate and nature.
Experience preferred:
Some professional experience in fundraising and HNW philanthropy (as a guide, likely 1-3 years).
Please see the full job description attached for information on main duties and responsibilities.
Location: Centrally located, light and airy office on Regent Street, London. Hybrid working: estimated 3-4 days per week in the office.
Benefits: 25 days’ annual leave, plus statutory bank holidays. Occasional 1–2 days’ additional paid leave over the Christmas period. Flexible working.
Reports to: Chief Partnerships Officer
Timetable: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis; early application is encouraged.
Preferred start date: 7 September 2026
Applicants should apply via CharityJob with both a CV and cover letter addressed to the CEO, Jack Chellman. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered. Please include the name, email and phone number of a reference we can contact.
Hope is here. We're unlocking new philanthropy to deliver urgent solutions for our planet.

About the role
This is a senior role working across the whole Charity, tasked with growing public awareness and support for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. Leading on marketing, PR, brand and design, this role will manage relations with media, stakeholders, supporters and the wider public, creating and delivering engaging campaigns, generating support for the Charity, demonstrating impact and increasing income generation.
This is an exciting time to join the Charity as it moves to the next stage in its growth. As part of a busy and ambitious team, this role would suit an experienced, proactive and creative individual with a talent for storytelling and a knowledge of data-driven marketing.
You’ll have strong commercial knowledge, with the ability to apply this to the charity sector; adding value to our existing fundraising activities and impact reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
· Create and deliver a comprehensive marketing & public relations strategy for the Charity to increase levels of awareness, reaching and engaging audiences.
· Build brand awareness, promote income generation and communicate activities and impact.
· Identify, create and maximise media, PR and marketing opportunities for the Charity to achieve strong positive coverage in print, broadcast and online media.
· Utilise the full mix of communications and marketing tools, including media and public relations, internal communications, brand marketing, advertising, campaigns, direct marketing, digital and social media and production of materials.
· Lead and give strategic marketing direction to the Charity team, taking responsibility for all marketing activities within the Charity to ensure consistent messaging.
· Identify and develop key relationships with journalists and influencers across a broad
range of media.
· Lead, manage and plan key Charity marketing and communications initiatives such as the annual Glow Green Night Walk and annual ball.
· Be responsible for brand management, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications and adherence to brand and corporate identity guidelines.
· Oversee the design, production and dissemination of marketing and communications collateral as required, including annual reports and impact statements.
· Oversee the design and production of all printed materials for Charity events to ensure consistency of brand and messaging.

· Manage staff within the Marketing and Individual Giving team.
About the Charity
Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is an independent charity, dedicated to supporting patients and research at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - one of the UK’s leading cancer hospitals.
It’s thanks to our supporters that we can achieve so much for people with cancer across Merseyside and Cheshire, which may not be possible through NHS funding alone.
This includes funding life-saving research to shape cancer care for generations to come, investing in leading technology that drives better outcomes for people with cancer, enhancing the patient environment to support health and wellbeing and enabling innovations in care for every patient, every day.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working with base office at The Spine Building, Paddington Village, Liverpool L7 3FA
Closing Date: 11 September 2026
Interview Date: 24 September 2026
Flexible / hybrid working available
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
We pride ourselves on being a values-driven organisation, and we’re looking for a likeminded fundraiser to join the team. Blending storytelling with statistics, events management with stakeholder engagement, and research with data protection, this varied role would be ideal for someone with an interest in criminal justice who communicates as well in person as they do on paper.
Ideally, you will bring at least one year of fundraising experience, however, this is not a limiting factor. We would consider your interest and passion for working in the criminal justice sector a key ingredient to make the role a success. If you have a talent for writing creatively and demonstrating our impact, this is something we are keenly interested in.
In our new strategy, we will have a focus on the development of other funding streams, diversifying our income to give a strong foundation on which to build future plans and ambitions. We have a strong base of funders and individual donors from which to work, and this role is intended to solidify existing, and develop new, relationships.
Research tells us that marginalised groups of people may not apply for jobs unless they meet 100% of the criteria. We also know that fundraisers come from many backgrounds with different experiences that might not seem “standard” – and that’s okay! We value people who bring unique perspectives and knowledge to our team.

Join Challengers as Community Events and Partnerships Manager to play a key role in growing sustainable income and supporter engagement for the charity.
Location: Hybrid / Guilford (3 days per week in office)
Applications close: 9 a.m. Monday 10th August 2026
About Challengers
For almost 50 years, Challengers has been transforming the lives of disabled children and young people through inclusive play. We break down barriers, reduce isolation, support families, and provide respite and community when it’s needed most.
Nearly 1 in 5 children has a SEND need, yet many are excluded from school, play and community life, lacking safe spaces to connect and belong. This leads to isolation for children and intense pressure on families. Children become isolated, missing out on vital opportunities to develop confidence, friendship and independence. Parents are facing exhaustion, declining mental health and often being forced to give up work.
Challengers exists to break this cycle, creating inclusive, community-based spaces and providing services where disabled children and their families are supported. From play and youth schemes to family days and parent carer training and three alternative provision sites, our work tackles inclusion at its root by focusing on belonging, connection and dignity.

Leading the community, corporate & events team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious programme of community fundraising, challenge events, partnerships and supporter engagement activities.
You will ensure supporters receive an exceptional experience throughout their journey with Challengers, building long-term relationships that maximise impact, retention and income.
Working collaboratively across the fundraising, communications and service delivery teams, you will identify opportunities to strengthen supporter engagement, raise the profile of Challengers and support the delivery of organisational fundraising objectives.
Acting as an enthusiastic ambassador for Challengers, you will represent the charity at fundraising, networking and community events and help build meaningful relationships with supporters, volunteers, local organisations and partners.
Who we are looking for
We seek a relationship-focused fundraising professional who thrives on bringing people together to make a tangible difference. You’ll be passionate about creating exceptional supporter experiences, building lasting relationships and delivering engaging fundraising activities that inspire individuals, communities and corporate partners to support our mission.
You’ll have experience of managing successful fundraising or engagement events, corporate partnerships and delivering community fundraising programmes which deliver on ambitious income targets.
Above all, you’ll be a collaborative and supportive team player who shares our commitment to delivering outstanding supporter experiences. You’ll be inspired by Challengers’ mission, embrace the social model of disability and be motivated by the opportunity to help create a world where disabled children and young people can play, learn and thrive without barriers.
