We’re looking for a creative and collaborative Head of Programme Design to lead the Programme Design Team at BookTrust, as part of our central Research and Design function.

The role will cover evidence-informed, human-centred programme design across the full spectrum from new opportunity definition to programme iteration and continuous improvement. We’re looking for a creative and organised Design Officer to join our Marketing team on a FTC until August 2027. This is an opportunity to play a key role in helping people recognise The National Lottery Community Fund and understand the difference our funding makes to communities across the UK.

Working closely with the Brand Manager and colleagues across Communications and Engagement, you’ll help create clear, accessible and engaging design materials for a wide range of channels. From templates, presentations and reports to campaign assets, event materials and branded guidance, your work will help us tell our story consistently and creatively.

We’re looking for someone with strong practical experience in graphic design, ideally with at least five years’ experience in a design role or similar creative environment. You’ll be confident creating high-quality design work across a range of formats, including digital, print, presentations, reports, social media, campaign materials and event assets.

You’ll need a good understanding of brand identity and be able to apply guidelines consistently while still bringing creative thinking and flexibility to your work. You should be comfortable managing multiple briefs, prioritising your workload and working to deadlines in a busy organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least five years’ experience in a graphic design role or similar creative background.
• A strong, up-to-date portfolio of design work that you are able to talk through.

You’ll bring substantial hands‑on experience designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform, supported by a relevant professional qualification. You have strong expertise in Dynamics customisation and extension, data modelling, integrations and APIs, and SQL Server, alongside solid experience with modern software engineering practices such as source control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.

You’re comfortable taking ownership of complex work in resource‑constrained environments, improving quality and reliability, and working directly with users to translate real needs into effective solutions. You understand the long‑term impact of technical decisions and are able to balance pragmatism with sound design.

Ideally, you’ll also bring Microsoft certifications, experience working in a not‑for‑profit or mission‑driven context, and familiarity with Azure or similar cloud platforms.

Above all, you’re a collaborative and credible senior developer who communicates clearly, works effectively with suppliers and non‑technical colleagues, and influences technical decisions through expertise and judgment. We’re looking for a Creative (Art) to join our award-winning in-house creative team. Role specifics

We’re looking for a talented Creative with a strong art direction background who can take ideas from concept through to high-quality final design. You’ll have experience delivering a wide range of creative work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of brand guidelines. Confident using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, you’ll create fresh, engaging concepts and polished visuals across print and digital, working to tight deadlines and supporting a variety of teams. You’ll also have a good eye for trends and visual craft, and be comfortable contributing to pitches, ensuring all work is impactful, on-brand and consistently delivered to a high standard.

· Educated to degree level or have the equivalent experience
