Job description

Are you curious about what digital data can tell us about how people find and engage with content?

We’re looking for a Digital Analytics Coordinator to join the Communications Directorate at the Royal College of Radiologists. In this role, you’ll analyse performance across our website, email and social channels, turning complex data into clear insight that helps shape how we plan and evaluate content and campaigns. You’ll also help ensure we’re measuring digital activity effectively, using tools including GA4 and Google Tag Manager to implement and maintain tracking.

Working closely with colleagues across the Content and Brand teams, you’ll help us understand what’s working, how our members are engaging with our content and where we can improve. Your insight will help us make evidence-based decisions, test and learn from what we do, and improve the digital experience we provide for our members.

What you’ll do:

  • Gather, analyse and present performance data across the College’s digital channels, including website, email and social media
  • Maintain analytics dashboards and produce regular insight highlighting trends, changes in performance and opportunities to improve engagement.
  • Implement, test and maintain tracking through GA4 and Google Tag Manager, ensuring digital activity is measured accurately and consistently.
  • Work with Content and Brand colleagues to establish appropriate measures for campaigns and evaluate performance against agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Analyse campaign and audience behaviour across digital channels, identifying the content, channels and approaches driving engagement.
  • Use email performance data, segmentation and A/B testing to identify opportunities to improve targeting and engagement.

What you’ll need:

  • Experience analysing and interpreting data from digital platforms such as GA4, Search Console, social media and email marketing platforms, and using insight to inform content and marketing decisions.
  • Practical experience of GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including implementing, testing and troubleshooting tracking.
  • Experience creating dashboards, automated reports or data visualisations and measuring performance against objectives and KPIs.
  • Experience using segmentation, A/B testing or dynamic content within an email marketing platform to evaluate and improve performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, practical recommendations for non-specialist colleagues.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong commitment to data quality and accuracy.
  • A collaborative and organised approach, with the ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Experience in a membership organisation, charity or not-for-profit environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

Why work with us?

The RCR is a membership organisation and charity that works with our Fellows and members to improve the standard of medical practice across the fields of clinical radiology and clinical oncology.

You’ll join a friendly and ambitious organisation with a clear sense of purpose – and a team that’s proud to support doctors working at the heart of cancer and imaging services.

When you join us:

  • Make a difference to the lives of Doctors and medical specialties
  • Hybrid working – up to 60% remote
  • Modern working environment with home‑working equipment provided
  • Generous annual leave, plus the option to buy up to 5 extra days
  • Enhanced family‑friendly leave (maternity, paternity and adoption) for those with 2+ years continuous service
  • Excellent pension scheme
  • Sabbaticals (5+ years’ service) and secondment opportunities
  • Interest‑free season ticket loan and cycle to work scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Long service recognition awards
