The Bikeability Trust is entering a new exciting phase of our strategy to 2035 to ensure more children can cycle with confidence. A year into our strategy we have reviewed Executive Team roles and responsibilities and are now looking for a creative Communications and Fundraising Director to lead our mission driven communications, income generation and impact reporting functions.

Myaware is a charity dedicated to ensuring that all people living with or alongside myasthenia can live well, now and in the future. We are looking to expand our impactful welfare rights advice service and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team.
You would be working with our Professional Services/Welfare Rights Manager to advise our members on their welfare rights. You would also work closely with our National Support Service Team who provide a listening ear and advice on living with myasthenia for our members as they navigate their diagnosis and live with the condition.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years' recent experience of providing in-depth advice on welfare benefits, housing, employment law and other enquiry areas. You must be genuinely motivated by our cause and keen to make a difference to those living with a chronic illness and their families and carers. The role
As Welfare Rights Adviser, you will support our Professional Services/Welfare Rights Manager in delivering advice to members of myaware via telephone, email, Teams and Zoom channels. You will provide detailed benefit checks and advice and support with disability benefit applications, supersessions, reviews and mandatory reconsiderations/appeals. You will also advise on employment law, including the Equality Act and right to reasonable adjustments at work, driving and transport, heath and social care, housing rights, grants and utility discounts. You will provide initial advice and signposting for other areas.such as financial advice and immigration queries.
You will also be required to support Zoom sessions for members, create social media posts, write newsletter content and support our research and campaigning work.
About you
We require someone with a background of welfare rights advice who is compassionate, non-judgmental and who can listen and communicate to a high standard. This role is for someone who is a team player, with a commitment to providing an excellent service to all members, no matter who they are and what their background. You must be able to give and receive feedback sensitively and objectively, while maintaining professionalism and an awareness of appropriate boundaries with members.
Who are we?
Myaware is the only myasthenia charity in the UK.The myasthenias are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. Myasthenia Gravis, Ocular Myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS) are autoimmune conditions whereas Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS) is an inherited genetic condition.It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.
We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families and offer advice and tips for living with the condition. Members of myaware have full access to a wide range of support services and events including our welfare rights service.
We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors. We campaign for better medical services for people with myasthenia and work to inform medical professionals.

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role, based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with the flexibility to work from home 3 days a week. The Media and Communications Manager, reporting into the Head of Communications, is responsible for the creation and delivery of PAGB's external, member and internal communications, overseeing media relations and the PAGB brand.
Overall accountability
- To effectively manage all content on PAGB website and microsites
- To effectively manage the PAGB brand and visual identity
- To organise, co-ordinate and support PAGB events
- To manage all aspects of PAGB’s media relations
- To be the first point of contact for all media enquiries
- To effectively market PAGB services, events and training
- To create, manage and oversee creation of PAGB newsletters
- To support internal communications
Key areas of responsibility include:
Website and digital communications
- Managing the PAGB website to ensure it is regularly updated with relevant information and content is optimised for search and user experience
- Proactively managing website on on-going basis to ensure that it is up to date and actively liaising with PAGB teams to gather information to update as needed
- Managing relationships with PAGB’s website developers to ensure ongoing maintenance, updates and technical support are delivered effectively
- Managing relationships with PAGB’s IT suppliers over domain name and security certificate renewals as required
- Managing the Health and Food Supplements Information Service (HSIS) website
- Managing website and communications data analytics and analysis
Marketing communications
- Marketing communications to promote PAGB’s services, events, and training to members and non-members using appropriate channels
- Developing and supporting communications via various media e.g. social media, podcasts and video
- Working with external agencies to deliver engaging videos and graphics to demonstrate PAGB’s impact in key areas
- Managing PAGB’s partnership with the OTC Marketing Awards and other external partners

Media relations

- Responding in a timely and compelling way to relevant external developments or media stories to generate proactive coverage which communicates our core messages
- Developing and delivering the media aspects of PAGB campaigns to promote self-care and amplify PAGB policy priorities and key messages
- Building, developing and maintaining high quality relationships with key target media across print, broadcast and online (national, consumer and trade)
- Building, developing and maintaining relationships with PAGB media experts

- Managing and updating the Media Group Members on PAGB’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Media monitoring
- Responsible for relationship with media monitoring service
- Responsible for identifying trends and flagging any areas of concern
- Identifying opportunities for PAGB experts via ResponseSource
- Regularly reporting on PAGB’s coverage in the media by creating monthly media dashboards and generating statistics
Brand and design
- Responsible for PAGB’s corporate branding, ensuring correct and consistent use
- Maintaining PAGB brand guidelines and document templates
- Using Photoshop and Canva to undertake basic design tasks inhouse
- Managing relationships with external designers and oversee design and production of corporate publications and documents
Internal Communications
- Responsible for creating and generating content for internal staff newsletter
- Supporting monthly internal communications meetings
- Collaborating with other departments on internal changes, employee initiatives, and sharing company updates
General
- Contributing to the development and delivery of PAGB’s strategy, plans and activity
- Reporting monthly on activity and results to inform regular member value communications

- Staying up to date with new developments and best practice in the media and public affairs fields

We are looking for a Foster Scheme Coordinator to coordinate Battersea’s London Foster Scheme, working in conjunction with Operations and Clinic in sourcing suitable temporary homes for those dogs in our London site requiring foster and supporting both foster carers and dogs during their time away from Battersea.

About the role
We are the UK’s largest independent non-profit investigative newsroom. Our reporting is published by media partners around the world and holds power to account across five areas: environment, health, big tech, dirty money and local power.
This role will manage 2–3 of our editorial teams, providing strategic fundraising support to help them deliver journalism that drives real-world change. While the exact portfolio will be confirmed with the successful candidate, the role will initially support 2-3 of our core teams and may also contribute to work on emerging issues such as mis- and disinformation and its impact on UK communities.

Our fundraising
The Bureau is almost entirely funded through grants and donations – without our supporters, we couldn’t do what we do. Over recent years, we’ve grown to a team of 35 people with an annual income of £2.8m, backed by a committed network of trusts, foundations, and individuals.
This is an exciting time to join our fundraising team as we build on those strong relationships and explore new ways to diversify our income.
Responsibilities

Work with project leads to develop their ideas into a strong case for support, translating complex issues into powerful, accessible narratives for funders.

Manage relationships with existing funders, ensuring timely reporting, effective stewardship and continued support.

Skills and experience

About the role
We are looking for a Data Selection Analyst to join our Customer Experience Data Team. As a Selections Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate data selections to support fundraising and marketing communications. Through analysis you will help shape and enhance fundraising efforts, informing targeting and testing, ultimately influencing how we engage with and support our community of donors, volunteers and supporters.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging individual giving digitalappeals across multiple channels

Working hours and location
This is a part-time role (14 hours per week). You can do this across two or more days, depending on your preferred work pattern. This role will ideally be hybrid / London-based. We can currently provide London office space on Mondays (Victoria), Thursdays (Shoreditch) and Fridays (Victoria). (Please note we don’t currently have any other staff members in the office on a Friday.) We will occasionally hold team days in London - you will be given advance notice of these dates. We may be able to offer remote working for an exceptional candidate, but our preference would be for a hybrid schedule with at least one day in the office (Monday or Thursday) per week - please note this could be a shorter day, e.g. 9-3 to accommodate other commitments.

Job Purpose:
The Strategic Communications Planning Lead is accountable for ensuring that all communications activity across the organisation are strategically prioritised, coherently planned and effectively integrated to advance MSF UK’s strategic objectives, reputation, fundraising performance and advocacy impact.
Working in close partnership with senior leaders and heads of teams across departments, the postholder leads the organisation’s communications forward-planning process and comms calendar; establishes high-quality strategic briefing standards; and oversees the coordination of complex, multi-channel campaigns. They ensure that communications planning and delivery are aligned with organisational priorities, values and ethical standards, and that resources are deployed effectively to maximise impact.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Strategic communications & planning
- Significant experience in strategic communications, campaigns or marketing roles within a complex organisation, ideally in the charity or international development/humanitarian sector.
- Strong understanding of audience insight, comms planning, and multi-channel communications (owned, earned and paid).

Spoons is a charity dedicated to supporting families through neonatal care. Their sole aim is to facilitate a community where families who have experienced neonatal care, can come together and feel safe in sharing their experiences and supporting one another. The Role
The Fundraising Manager will lead on the delivery of a sustainable and diverse fundraising strategy. The main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering a fundraising strategy and annual income plan.
- Growing sustainable income across all fundraising streams, predominantly Community, Individual Giving and Events.
- Building, nurturing and stewarding supporter relationships.
- Storytelling and communicating impact via social media, digital campaigns, supporter communications and community fundraising materials.
The Person
We are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious individual with a proven track record of delivering income from individual giving and community and events fundraising. The person should also have knowledge of other fundraising income streams. Additionally, you should have an understanding of fundraising regulations, GDPR, and a keenness to keep abreast of fundraising best practice.
Perhaps most importantly, you should be excellent at building relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You must be organised, driven and resilient, and able to multitask effectively in this varied and interesting role. About the Role
We’re seeking a highly-motivated creative campaigner to support our work in reducing the environmental harms caused by advertising. You will become an expert in the tactics used by major oil firms to maintain their social licence to operate, including advertising, PR and lobbying; as well as co-developing creative interventions and strategies to counter these. You’ll keep a watching brief on how big oil firms respond to cultural and political trends regarding climate and net zero, attend coalition meetings in Britain and mainland Europe and join a growing movement to end the greenwashing practices of the world’s worst polluters.
About Adfree Cities
Adfree Cities is a network of ‘Adblock’ groups across Britain. We campaign to reduce the harms of corporate advertising by building grassroots power to oppose plans for new billboards and showcase community arts, nature and ad-free space as positive alternatives. We lobby for policy change at a local council and national level and work with a growing network of allies to address the social and environmental impacts of advertising. In particular, we work closely with the ‘Badvertising’ campaign to stop adverts fuelling the climate emergency. In recent years we have supported councils such as Edinburgh, Sheffield and others to prohibit advertising for polluting products on council-controlled sites. We’ve filed successful complaints to the UK ad regulator leading to greenwash adverts by Shell, Total, HSBC and Toyota being banned. We supported a coalition of groups to instigate Parliament’s first debate amongst MPs on banning fossil fuel advertising and sponsorship in July 2025.
What we do:
- Hold the line: We stop new advertising sites in our cities. We support residents and community groups to oppose planning applications for new digital billboards.
- Positive alternatives: We showcase arts, nature and ad-free space as positive alternatives to corporate advertising.
- Movement building: We produce resources, train new organisers and run events to raise awareness about the impacts of corporate advertising on mental health, wellbeing, environmental damage, climate breakdown, body image and the local economy. We also contribute to international coalitions working to reduce the harms caused by advertising.
- Lobby for change: We engage in a constructive dialogue with the advertising regulator, local councils and MPs to strengthen the regulation and legislation of advertising.
We are currently a team of six part-time staff based in Bristol. We are an official partner to the Badvertising campaign which aims to stop advertising fuelling the climate emergency. This includes ads and sponsorships for cars, airline flights and fossil fuels. Badvertising is a project run by the New Weather Institute with Adfree Cities.
Big Oil Creative Campaigner: Primary Responsibilities
a) Keep a watching brief on the fossil fuel industry

- Liaise with other movement actors working to end the advertising and marketing practices of major fossil fuel companies (Big Oil), especially UK-headquartered firms
b) Develop and deliver creative campaign interventions
- Co-create artistic interventions to expose misleading greenwash practices of major oil firms. Examples and inspiration from other groups include Darren Cullen’s Hell Bus, Glimpse’s spoof advertising agency Atmospheric, Brandalism’s ‘subvertising’ campaigns, Badvertising’s Ministry for the Climate Emergency, Fossil Free London’s street protests and Channel 4’s documentary Joe Lycett vs the Oil Giant.
- Develop press plans around these interventions
- Deploy a health message framing around the topic of advertising for high carbon products and create outreach plans to engage health workers and air pollution campaigners around the need for fossil ad bans
c) Liaising with policymakers and delivering workshops
- Deliver workshops about advertising for high carbon products to policymakers, campaigners and residents.
- Travel to different parts of Britain to run events, build local campaigner networks and lobby local councils. This will include co-managing transport and logistics of our Billboard Dystopia art installation – supported by other members of the Adfree Cities team.
- Support Adfree Cities’ policy team in engaging councils wishing to implement a ban on advertising and sponsorship for high carbon products, especially in collaboration with publlic health officers.
Days per week: 3 days per week.
Start Date: Late February 2026 / March 2026
Salary: £34,000 pro-rata.
Contract: 2 year fixed term contract – with the possibility of extension depending on funding.

We are looking for a creative communications professional with an interest in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), or vice versa. You will help embed more consistent, robust
approaches to evidence, learning and communications across the organisation, with the aim of improving service quality and better demonstrating our impact to our community, partners and funders.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with the primary goal of strengthening our communications and supporting our MEL processes across the organisation. There may be potential to extend the contract, depending on organisational needs and funding.
You will be well supported by the Head of Programmes and Impact and work closely with Programme Managers to support the collection of impact data in meaningful ways — not just to meet funder requirements, but to inform learning and improve delivery. You’ll work closely with our Advocacy, Research and Campaigns manager to support the delivery of strategic communications and will play a key role in communicating our impact - using our branding guidelines - via social media channels, our website and internally.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited about making data meaningful and useful for social justice work and understands the power of communicating impact via visual and social media. You are comfortable working in multicultural and multilingual settings and have a track record of working in MEL or in communications. Person specification
Essential

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and good communication skills in Spanish or Portuguese

2+ years experience in a MEL, research or communications role, ideally in a community or non-profit setting

Working within the Money Advice Team (Community Debt)
Casework – The post-holder will carry a specialist caseload, providing advice and casework covering the full range of debt issues and solutions. This includes but is not limited to, dealing with emergencies, making use of the Breathing Space scheme, making offers of repayment, drafting financial statements, advising on insolvency options and providing budgeting advice. They will ensure that income maximisation is carried out and refer to other in-house advisers or specialist agencies as appropriate.
They will be required to act for the client where necessary and communicate with third parties to progress a case.
Advice will be delivered through a variety of channels including face to face (drop-in and appointments), telephone or digital channels and must conform to the Citizens Advice Quality of Advice standards and funder requirements.
The post-holder will work to individual targets that must be met in order to contribute to team targets.
