This is a senior role at the heart of RBL’s acquisition strategy, responsible for bringing new supporters into the organisation and creating the foundations for long-term engagement and income. Working closely with colleagues across Planning, Product, Digital, Brand and Fundraising, you will use data, insight and audience understanding to identify opportunities, optimise activity and continually improve performance. You will also work closely with colleagues across the wider supporter journey to ensure acquisition activity is coordinated with what follows, creating a cohesive experience from a supporter’s first interaction with RBL onwards.
You will also lead and develop a team of Acquisition Managers and Officers, creating clarity, supporting high performance and embedding new ways of working across the team. Strong stakeholder management will be essential, as you build effective relationships across RBL and with external agencies, while constructively challenging activity to ensure it delivers against wider fundraising objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience of developing mass fundraising or marketing strategies at scale, strong analytical and commercial skills, and a proven track record of managing teams in complex organisations. You will be confident working with substantial budgets, using data to inform decisions and translating organisational strategy into clear plans and objectives for your team.
