This is a people-facing, system-focused role. The MEL Systems Officer is responsible for maintaining the quality, organisation, and user uptake of Practical Action's online MEL system. You will develop the protocols that guide how data is entered and maintained, and support internal teams to follow them, ensuring colleagues always have accurate data to draw on for reporting, learning and influencing.
This role requires high degrees of organisational skills, demonstrating a methodical and people-oriented approach. You will act as a bridge between the MEL system and our internal MEL community, ensuring the system is user friendly, contains high-quality data, and that users feel supported in using it.
1. SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION & ORGANISATION • Ensure high-quality and well organised MEL data, system structures, indicators, results, and templates and carry out routine data quality checks to ensure consistency. • Work with the Data & Insights team to ensure Power BI reports are optimised, providing useful management information for analysis and decision making. • Maintain clear, accessible user guidance documentation and standard operating procedures. • Coordinate with system providers and IT colleagues to develop system upgrades and fixes, and ensure smooth integration with the Outcome Harvesting system.
2. USER SUPPORT & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING • Act as the primary point of contact for MEL and programme staff on system queries, providing high quality customer support, managing user accounts, permissions and access. • Routinely deliver onboarding and training sessions for new and existing users. • Build strong relationships across our MEL community, proactively identifying challenges and opportunities for system improvements.
3. REPORTING & DASHBOARDS • Produce organisational impact dashboards, MEL reports, and supporting information for both annual and donor reporting, all in clear, accessible formats for a range of stakeholders. • Support MEL colleagues to extract and present data for project reviews, evaluations and learning processes.
4. MEL PROCESS SUPPORT • Incorporate theories of change, results frameworks and indicators into the system as they develop over time, working with MEL colleagues to incorporate latest thinking. • Support knowledge sharing within internal communities of practice by ensuring that reports, evaluations, learning products and evidence are accessible on internal platforms. • Provide technical MEL advice and support to programme teams and II&I colleagues as required.

ESSENTIAL
• Applicants must hold a Bachelors Degree
Experience administering online data systems, databases or digital platforms, with confidence working with structured data and reporting tools.
• Highly organised and methodical, with a drive to produce high-quality output. • Confident communicator and relationship builder, with a focus on nurturing team coherence. • Demonstrable experience in leading and delivering training and user support.

The Information Services team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is responsible for providing information about dementia and dementia research to the public. The team operates the charity’s Dementia Research Infoline and produces and disseminates health information booklets and other resources. The team also has responsibility for promoting research involvement to the public, actively helps people to take part in studies and support the NHS service Join Dementia Research.
We are looking for a confident, friendly and proactive person to join us as a Health Information Officer. Alongside other officers provide day-to-day operation of the Dementia Research Infoline, answering questions from the public with about dementia, dementia research and about opportunities to get involved in research. Reporting to the Information Services Manager, the Information Officer will also play a key role in maintaining the relationship of the partnership between Alzheimer’s Research UK and Join Dementia Research, support in the delivery of outreach projects to underserved audiences and help with the updating and production of the charity’s dementia health information resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day delivery of the Dementia Research Infoline by responding to public enquiries and providing accurate, responsible and helpful information to the public.
· Acting as the first point of contact for Dementia Research Infoline callers, providing information over the phone about dementia and dementia research, as well as signposting to other organisations. Note – the Infoline does not provide counselling or medical advice.
· Responding to Dementia Research Infoline enquiries by letter, social media and email.
· Registering people to Join Dementia Research, via the telephone and via paper registration form. This involves processing and recording volunteer health information and ensuring data is up-to-date and contact with registrants maintained appropriately.
· Supporting existing volunteers on Join Dementia Research, with tech issues, keeping their data up to date, and discussing opportunities to take part in research.
· Average enquiry volumes are around 5-10 per day per officer, and can be up to 30 minutes long.
· Maintaining an up-to-date and evidence-based library of responses to common health and research enquiries relating to dementia.
Promoting to the public the importance of participation in research and acting as an entry-point for the UK research register, Join Dementia Research and other ways to take part in research.
· Discussing with the public, through the Dementia Research Infoline, the different ways people can get involved in research and the types of studies looking for volunteers.
· Managing the confidential handling of personal data.
· Finding ways to promote taking part in research to internal and external audiences, with a focus on reaching underserved audiences.
Creation and dissemination of health information
· Writing and updating evidence-based health information materials in line with inhouse standards and processes, including engaging and accessible materials in print, web and other formats.
· Liaising with expert and lay user reviewer volunteers.
Raising awareness of dementia research in underserved communities
· Assisting in the dissemination of information and resources to underserved communities.
· Looking for opportunities to raise awareness in hard to reach audiences.
· Embedding inclusive practices throughout the work delivered by the Information Services team.
Additional Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:
· Making contributions to articles on Alzheimer’s Research UK website.
· Contributing to staff Q&A sessions.

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) is seeking to appoint an International Education Manager to join our team in central London, with the post requiring some international travel.
The BPNA is the professional organisation for doctors in the UK who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders. Building on our success to date, we are working jointly with the International League Against Epilepsy to facilitate the roll-out of an educational course for healthcare workers in countries around the world. Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) was developed by the BPNA and has been running in the UK since 2005, and internationally since 2012, with over 22,000 attendees around the world to date. PET has been successfully launched in 14 countries including Brazil, Ghana, Kenya, India, New Zealand and South Africa. Since 2012, there have been more than 9,000 attendees at courses outside the UK.
The purpose of PET is to raise standards of care for children with epilepsy. A UK faculty team delivers a 3-day launch programme in-country to faculty teams recruited locally, who commit to delivering a minimum of one course per year for 5-years. The purpose of a launch event is to train the local team to deliver courses without reliance on UK faculty members. Roll-out is achieved through a healthcare partnership with the national paediatric or epilepsy organisation.
The purpose of the International Education Manager is to project-manage ‘launches’ and provide additional support to further develop International Education at the BPNA. You will work closely with colleagues and volunteers both in the UK and internationally to plan, problem-solve and to monitor progress against objectives. You will be expected to develop strong project plans and budgets and to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role will involve travel to launch sites in order to run the launches and train local administrators. You will support the ongoing development of the international PET Programme, including managing the travel of 18 international Country Leads to the UK in March 2027. You will also provide continual excellent stewardship to international faculty both established and new. We are looking for an experienced international development professional, who also has events and project-management experience. You will need to be flexible, organised, have meticulous attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines and be comfortable working in a global team with colleagues across different time zones.

JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the International Education Manager is to successfully deliver international PET launches and rollouts and support the on-going delivery and development of the international PET programme. This role will:
· Project manage upcoming PET launches for the Caribbean and El Salvador/ Honduras.
· Travel to launch sites to manage launch events and to train local administrators to run PET courses.
· Manage project budgets and collate data for project reporting.
· Support the Director of Education to deliver the launch application process, monitoring incoming applications and queries.
· Support the overall delivery and development of the international PET programme.
· Maintain the quality and standards of PET, supporting others to do the same.
CORE DUTIES
1. Project manage PET launches ensuring that all activities are delivered on time and within budget.
2. Keep up to date with FCDO, news and local advice, produce travel risk assessments, and advise Director of Education and Executive Director on highlighted risks.
3. Work with Country Leads to set budgets for launches, manage expenditure and reconcile finances post-launch.
4. Work alongside the Director of Education, Education Content Co-Ordinator and International Programmes Assistant to support the delivery of the PET123 Update. Manage the travel of international attendees.
5. Develop relationships and Memoranda of Understanding with launch partners.
6. Carry out due diligence on new partners.
7. Working alongside colleagues across the Education department, ensure all course resources are consistent and maintain the quality standards for PET. Furthermore, support international partners to ensure easy access to the resources they need to run courses, including facilitating the translation of materials.
8. Contribute to quarterly Trustees’ reports on international short course activity and to the BPNA’s annual report.
9. Assist the Director of Education with launch information and data for fundraising proposals and reports as required.
10. Support BPNA’s annual conference as required.
11. Assist with other tasks as requested by the Director of Education, Executive Director or Trustees.
LEVEL OF SUPERVISION
Supervision of others
No direct supervision of others but will matrix-manage the International Programme Assistant on any tasks that require their support.
Supervision and support from your line manager and trustees
Your line manager will be the Director of Education. Your priorities and targets are set according to the BPNA Operational Plan and the International Education Strategy and monitored by your line manager.
COMMUNICATION
You will be in contact with both internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels, including some for whom English will not be their first language. You should be able to adapt your communication style to the audience, ensuring the clear and comprehensive communication of logistical details.

misunderstood and misdiagnosed. PANS PANDAS UK are the only charity in the UK

OVERALL PURPOSE
The Education Training Development Manager will lead the operational development, and delivery of the national education training programme, ensuring it aligns with organisational priorities and emerging national guidance. The role is responsible for the coordination, growth and quality assurance of PANS PANDAS UK’s national CPD training offer for teachers and educational psychologists (EPs), supporting the development and delivery of high‑quality training modules and strengthening partnerships.
The role reports to and works in close collaboration with the PANS PANDAS UK Education Lead, who retains overall ownership, strategic responsibility and final decision‑making authority for the training programme and the wider education strategy.
Central to this role is working collaboratively with the PANS and PANDAS community and the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) to ensure all training is informed by lived experience.
Key Responsibilities
Programme & Content Development
- Jointly review, update and refine existing CPD materials with the Education Lead, informed by national guidance and emerging research, with the Education Lead holding overall responsibility
- Support development of new training modules and associated materials.
- Explore future delivery models to expand national reach and scalability.
- Identify opportunities for integration of PANS or PANDAS training/materials within University/Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and other relevant programmes.

Role Purpose
The Education Trainer supports the Education Manager in the design and delivery of specialist, evidence-informed trainings programmes for education professionals equipping them to support bereaved children, young people, adults and communities.
Using trauma-informed, evidence-based content delivered through both digital platforms and in-person, the role ensures schools and educational staff have practical tools to identify, respond to, support and/or refer bereaved children, young people and adults.

Overall Job Purpose

About the Role
As a Education & Training Officer you will be working with a small team within New Era, our support service for domestic abuse. You will be responsible for the education, awareness and training for partners, professionals and the local community. You will be delivering content relating to domestic abuse, with the sensitivity and professionalism as you would expect.

- Be the subject matter expert for Access Recruit & Onboarding and Better Impact for the team, the candidates/onboardees and the wider organisation
- Monitor and maintain ongoing compliance requirements across staff files, including (but not limited to): Right to Work documentation (i.e. valid Visas and passports); Professional Registrations; Dr’s professional insurance, etc.
- Ensure that all aspects of DBS process are managed in accordance with policy/procedures
- Assist the Recruitment & Compliance Manager in preparing, analysing and producing relevant reports and statistics.
- Conduct audit checks on new starters, volunteer and temporary worker files and report back to team to ensure continuous improvement and accuracy of data collected.
- Coordinate and/or supervise a regular and continuous calendar of personnel file reviews and audits, to ensure and maintain regulatory compliance, and where relevant escalate non- compliance issues to the Compliance Partner and/or the Recruitment & Compliance Manager.
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of an annual audit of CQC and Ofsted standards, across relevant business areas, e.g. The Children’s Trust School.
- Proactively maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our associated regulatory requirements, highlighting any updates and subsequent implications as soon as reasonably practical.
- Impart expertise and knowledge by delivering training sessions for new starters on compliance processes.
- In collaboration with the Organisation Development Team ensure the delivery of a seamless and engaging On-boarding and Induction experience for new staff and volunteers.
Recruitment & Selection
- Be responsible for the recruitment, on-boarding and compliance process for all types of permanent employees, Bank employees, temporary workers and volunteers.
- Maintain the administration of recruitment and onboarding records, ensuring that these are complete and accurate
- Ensure all recruitment activities and the candidate life-cycle are underpinned by our Promises, whilst adhering to current employment legislation including Disclosure & Barring Service, Care Quality Commission, Ofsted, KCSIE and all policies and procedures
- Maintain an up-to-date list of vacancies, and ensure that all vacancies are advertised internally and/ or externally, in a timely manner.
- Support the Recruitment Team in the review and implementation of new and progressive recruitment initiatives, e.g. Employee Referral Scheme; Graduate Programmes; Apprenticeships; and overseas recruitment, with a view to increase the diversity and skill set of our workforce, across the organisation.
- Support the Recruitment & Compliance Partners with advertising vacancies, as well as the organisation and delivery of recruitment events and campaigns.
- Support the Recruitment & Compliance Manager with Bank Administrator recruitment and management of assignments.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily work tasks of team Bank Administration or Volunteer support, ensuring that all administrative aspects of the recruitment process are delivered to regulatory standards, on time and in a professional manner.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
People Team Support
- Where required, contribute to the collation of relevant recruitment and compliance data, ensuring that these are complete and accurate, in order to support the preparation, analysis and production of relevant service reports, e.g. recruitment KPIs, time to hire (on-boarding KPIs), SCR school reports, right to work/visa reporting.
- Build strong internal and external relationships and provide a first class, added value service, to all staff and external partners/ customers.
- Where required, provide additional support on specific People Team projects, as informed by and agreed with the Recruitment & Compliance Manager.
- Assist in the streamlining and automation of processes to improve operational efficiency

The National Association of Special Schools (NASS) is the membership association for special schools in England and Wales. We bring together independent special schools, non-maintained special schools, special academies, maintained special schools and multi-academy trusts with specialist provision.
We exist to inform, support and represent our members, helping specialist schools improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND and secure the place of specialist provision within the wider education system. This is a pivotal moment for the organisation. In February this year, the Department for Education published a major white paper on SEND reform which will require NASS to both influence national policy on behalf of our members and children and young people, as well as support them to navigate the changes. As our next Chief Executive, you will:
