Overview
The role will provide high-quality administrative, systems, and research support to the Quality Team, enabling consistent quality assurance across the grant-making cycle. The postholder will administer and improve the team’s Salesforce processes and data standards, coordinate key workflows and information management, support the Director of Quality, Quality Assurance Specialist and Impact (MEAL) Coordinator with scheduling and documentation, and deliver defined research tasks and short projects (e.g., into quality assurance approaches, MEAL frameworks, tools and best practice) to strengthen the team’s work.
Key internal relationships: Director of Quality; Quality Assurance Specialist; Impact (MEAL) Specialist; Regional Directors, Programme Managers and Project Officers; ICPO; Finance; Data/Systems owners.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce administration and systems support
- Administer the Quality/Projects components of Salesforce (and associated tools), including user support, data standards, fields/picklists, basic configuration tasks within delegated permissions, and documentation of processes.
- Maintain data quality rules and routines (validation, required fields, definitions, and guidance) and run regular data quality checks, working with colleagues to resolve issues.
- Produce and maintain reports/dashboards for the Quality Team (e.g., pipeline status, stage-gate progress, approvals, conditions, timeliness, data completeness, and quality metrics).
- Log, triage, and coordinate Salesforce improvement requests, liaising with system owners/IT and supporting user testing and roll-out of updates.
- Create and maintain user guidance (how-to notes, short training materials) to support consistent use of Salesforce and associated quality workflows
Administrative support to the Quality Director and team coordination
- Support the Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists with planning timetables, collating papers, maintaining decision/action logs, and following up actions with stakeholders.
- Prepare and format documents to agreed standards (templates, document control, version control) and maintain an audit-ready filing system in SharePoint (or equivalent).
·Coordinate team processes, including shared calendars, team meetings, process documentation, and communications that help the Quality Team operate consistently.
Research and special projects (Quality assurance, MEAL and learning)
- Undertake defined research tasks to support the Quality Team’s priorities (e.g., QA approaches in grant-making, MEAL frameworks and tools, file review methodologies, sampling approaches, learning loops, and good practice in documentation and audit trails).
- Produce short research summaries/briefings with practical recommendations for the Director of Quality and Specialists, including options, pros/cons, and implications for Barnabas processes.
- Support discreet improvement projects (e.g., updating templates/checklists, improving guidance, piloting a new dashboard or QA tool) and track actions to implementation.
·Maintain a small library of standards, templates, guidance, and reference materials (including MEAL and QA resources) for the team.
Pre-Committee Proposal Scrutiny
·Formal review of all project proposals before submission to the projects subcommittee to improve quality by ensuring:
oProposals are internally consistent;
oProposed solutions credibly meet the identified needs;
oThe response is proportionate and broadly consistent with other Barnabas Aid projects of a similar nature;
oBeneficiary selection is conducted appropriately and can be justified;
oThe proposal is strategically aligned, represents good value-for-money and meets all of Barnabas Aid’s project policies;
oRelevant harms have been considered and mitigated;
oA proportionate M&E approach is in place;
oPrudent but pragmatic financial arrangements (e.g. split into tranches, use of intermediaries) are adopted and justified.
·In conjunction with regional teams, undertake light editing of proposals to improve clarity and correct inconsistencies and typographical errors.
·Document checks to ensure all due diligence activities have been conducted before proposal is put to the subcommittee.
Post-Committee Follow-up
·Track actions provided by committee to ensure projects fully implement committee decisions (e.g. splitting into tranches, reporting requirements, risk management, etc)
·Draft, for regional team’s approval, project approval/project rejection letters to partners, including all relevant provisions for management of the grants.
Compliance, confidentiality, and continuous improvement
- Handle sensitive information responsibly, ensuring appropriate confidentiality, data protection, and information security practices are applied.
·Support the Quality Team to evidence required checks and maintain consistent records across systems and files, raising risks or gaps as appropriate.

Person Requirement
Essential

·Educated to degree-level or equivalent, with strong administrative and systems experience.
·Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to administration, data/systems, quality, research, MEAL, or project/grants work
·Experience in a busy administrative role, supporting multiple stakeholders, scheduling meetings, and coordinating actions to deadlines.
·Experience administering or providing ‘super-user’ support for a CRM/database (preferably Salesforce), including maintaining data standards and producing reports/dashboards.
·Experience with document control and shared filing systems (e.g SharePoint), including version control and maintaining audit-ready records.
·Experience undertaking structured research tasks and producing clear summaries/recommendations for non-specialist audiences.
·Highly organised with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
·Strong systems aptitude: able to document processes, apply data standards, run checks, and support colleagues to use systems consistently.
·Ability to produce clear reports/briefings and summarise research into practical recommendations.
·Confident with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and comfortable learning new systems.
·Discretion and good judgement when handling confidential/sensitive information.
Desirable
·Experience working in the charity, international development, or faith-based sector.
·Salesforce administration training/qualification (or equivalent CRM certification).

Who we are looking for
We're looking for an exceptional campaigner to lead an ambitious environmental campaigning programme for just over a year to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring leader who can develop bold, strategic campaigns that shift public debate, influence decision-makers and deliver tangible environmental outcomes.
You'll be an experienced campaign strategist who understands that lasting change rarely comes from a single tactic. You'll know how to bring together compelling communications, evidence and investigations, grassroots mobilisation, political engagement, legal interventions and partnerships into integrated campaigns capable of changing policy, behaviour and corporate practice.

What you’ll be doing:
As Head of Campaigns, you will be developing and delivering bold, integrated campaigns that drive lasting change for the UK's rivers. You'll lead and inspire a talented team of campaigners, helping them to develop innovative, impactful campaigns while fostering a collaborative, ambitious and supportive culture. You'll work closely with colleagues across communications, policy, legal, fundraising and research, ensuring our work is strategically aligned and greater than the sum of its parts.
Leading River Action's Campaigns Team, you will shape the organisation's campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is innovative, evidence-led and designed to influence public opinion, hold polluters to account and secure meaningful political and systemic change. You'll create campaigns that connect compelling storytelling with community mobilisation, strategic communications, political advocacy, legal action and partnerships, ensuring every part of our work contributes towards our mission to rescue the UK’s rivers.
You'll provide strategic leadership across the full campaign lifecycle, overseeing campaign planning, delivery, budgeting, resourcing and evaluation. You'll ensure our campaigns are informed by robust evidence, guided by clear objectives and measured against meaningful outcomes, using insight and learning to continually strengthen our impact.
You will lead River Action's communications and public profile, ensuring our campaigns cut through the national conversation, inspire public action and strengthen our reputation as one of the UK's leading environmental campaigning organisations. You’ll oversee media, messaging and campaign communications that amplify our voice and build public support for change.
Internally, you'll work in close partnership with the Head of Public Affairs to ensure our public campaigns reinforce and accelerate our political influencing work, while ensuring community campaigns and grassroots action inform our national priorities. You'll also work alongside the Head of Legal to develop campaigns involving strategic litigation to achieve change within and outside of court and legal processes, using legal action as a catalyst for wider public awareness, policy change and industry accountability.
As a member of River Action's Senior Management Team, you'll help shape the strategic direction of the organisation and contribute to organisational leadership beyond your own department. You'll work alongside the CEO and fellow Heads of Department to deliver our organisational strategy, embedding collaboration, innovation and impact across all areas of our work.
You'll also play a key role in securing the resources needed to deliver our ambitions. Working with the Head of Development, you'll help develop compelling funding proposals, inspire funders with our vision and demonstrate the impact of our work through robust monitoring, evaluation and reporting. Working with the Finance and Operations Manager, you'll oversee campaign budgets, ensuring resources are managed effectively and strategically.
Main Duties

Lead the planning and delivery of River Action’s creative interventions and actions, from polling, petitions and shareholder actions to public protests and high-profile actions.

Serve as a senior public representative and spokesperson for River Action, building the organisation's profile and influence through media engagement, public speaking, stakeholder engagement and high-profile external events.

Oversee River Action's digital campaigning platforms, including the strategic development of our website and digital engagement tools.

Lead campaign planning, governance and delivery, ensuring campaigns are effectively resourced, managed and evaluated against agreed objectives, budgets and monitoring, evaluation and reporting (MER) frameworks.

River Action is looking to develop a campaign around water security in the UK to launch in 2027. Please put together a campaign brief setting out the challenges faced, how we would develop and deliver this campaign including campaign asks; campaign outcomes; public, political and legal tactics; routes for funding and resource requirements.
Your campaign brief should be no longer than 2 sides of A4.

The role
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Income & Engagement to join our senior leadership team. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and implementing robust income generation strategies to diversify and grow our voluntary and traded income streams.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and/or fundraising, building strategic partnerships and driving innovation in income generation. As a key leader in our organisation, you will be responsible for a team of c.10 people, and work collaboratively across the charity to enable us to grow sustainably and ensure that we have the support to reach and impact more young people
Key responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing income generation team of 10 people, including two direct reports (Head of Partnerships and Head of Philanthropy)
- Develop and execute a comprehensive income generation strategy and plans that align with the charity’s mission and goals
- Oversee all income generation and stakeholder engagement activities, maximising the growth potential and visibility of Future Frontiers to deliver impact
- As a member of the Senior Leadership Team and wider leadership team, contribute to discussions and decisions around Future Frontiers’ performance and plans for the future
- Play a key role in the development and delivery of charity-wide initiatives and embedding an inclusive and enabling culture
Partnerships and Business Development:
- Lead the team to identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with businesses, foundations, and other organisations
- Motivate and enable the Partnerships team to develop new business, retain existing partners and meet stretching sales targets
- Develop and grow high value partnerships through attending meetings, sharing impact and exploring wider opportunities for collaboration
Fundraising and Product Development:
- Equip and empower the team to develop compelling grant applications, fundraising campaigns and events to attract new supporters and further engage existing ones
- Collaborate and innovate across the organisation to develop new products and services that align with the charity’s mission, generate income and support diversification
- Stay abreast of trends, opportunities and challenges in education, employment and the charity sector, enabling Future Frontiers to plan ahead, embrace opportunities and mitigate for emerging risks
- Marketing and Communications:
- Lead collaborative efforts across Future Frontiers to develop marketing and communications plans and content that align with the charity’s objectives
- Act as an ambassador for Future Frontiers, championing our work and impact with supporters, stakeholders, prospects and the wider public
- Enhance the charity’s reputation through effective brand management, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all channels
Performance and Accountability
- Prepare and manage the Income & Engagement budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and working closely with the Finance & Operations team to accurately account for income and expenditure
- Take overall responsibility for achieving income targets and developing sustainable, diversified income streams that support the charity’s long term growth
- Monitor and report on income performance, providing regular updates to colleagues, the CEO and Board of Trustees
- Oversee the production of the Annual Impact Report and Annual Report & Accounts
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and best practice
About you
Knowledge and experience:
- Proven experience in developing and delivering successful income generation strategies (Essential)
- Demonstrated success in growing income through diverse streams, including one or more of fundraising, sales, partnerships, philanthropy and product development (Essential)
- Experience of leading successful sales and/or fundraising teams (Essential)
- Experience in the social mobility, education, or charity sectors (Desirable)

Job description
Job Purpose
The hospital to home service works collaboratively with hospitals to support people when they are discharged from hospital to return home. As a Hospital to Home Outreach Worker, you will provide temporary, practical and emotional support to service users within their home and make sure they understand the care and local community services available to them.
The service is time limited, usually up to 4 or 6 weeks, to adjust and settle back in their homes.
Key Tasks

Assess the needs of service user’s either in hospital before discharge, or in their homes, and understand what barriers and enablers there might be to moving home.

Aid the discharge process and improve patient experience through tasks such as:

Key cutting

Co-ordinating with colleagues for the setup of the home environment such as checking fridge for in-date food

Checking heating, electric and gas is functional prior to discharge

Allowing access to the property for cleaning/repairs and receiving equipment

Provide and/or arrange the practical and emotional support needed to enable service users to return home and/or remain safely at home.

Be vigilant and make referrals/signpost for additional needs that our wider team, or partners can support. E.g. for benefit checks, energy advice, carers support, befriending.

Help maximise service user independence by adopting an enabling approach.

Develop a listening, caring and professional relationship with the service user and their families/carers.

Provide domestic practical support within the home such as:

Light cleaning,

Ensure service user’s feedback questionnaires are sent at the end of each intervention and record returns.

About Adolescent Health Study
The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people aged eight to 18 years from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. Recruitment will take place mainly through schools. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. Purpose of the post

The Philharmonia is seeking to appoint a Box Office and CRM Manager to lead the management, development and optimisation of the Orchestra’s CRM strategy, systems and audience experience. The roles focuses on ensuring a seamless customer journey while overseeing the effective operation of the Box Office and the ongoing development of Tessitura.
This is a key role overseeing both the day-to-day operation and strategic development of the Philharmonia’s Box Office and CRM function. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing ticketing and customer strategies that maximise sales income, improve conversion and enhance the audience experience.
As a public facing member of staff, the Box Office and CRM Manager will be a key representative of the Orchestra, ensuring customers receive a welcoming, efficient and accessible service whether booking online, by phone or in person. A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service is therefore essential.
The role will also lead on the effective management and ongoing development of Tessitura, supporting audience insight, segmentation, reporting and customer journeys across the organisation. The Mental Health Support Teams ( MHSTs) in the West locality team in North Cumbria are recruiting a Service administrator for 30 hours a week due to the growth of the teams.

We are seeking a strategic and inspiring Head of Funding and Programme Development with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and mobilise resources in a values-driven environment. This role calls for a leader who is deeply committed to equitable partnerships with communities and organisations in conflict-affected settings, guiding teams to raise resources effectively while advancing peace and justice outcomes. About the role
- The Head of Funding and Programme Development will shape Saferworld’s income profile in alignment with our organisational strategy and change process. The post-holder will lead the development and implementation of Saferworld’s funding strategy, ensuring it supports our strategic, programmatic and operational priorities.
- The role will focus on strengthening the quality, flexibility and diversity of Saferworld’s funding base, nurturing relationships with strategic institutional donors, growing philanthropic funding, and identifying new income opportunities.
- This is an exciting opportunity to influence Saferworld’s fundraising and programme development approach during a pivotal period for the organisation. The role will line-manage a small team across programme development, philanthropy and funding.
Key responsibilities
- As part of Saferworld’s senior leadership, you will support organisation-wide initiatives and contribute to strategic decision-making. You will monitor funding trends, identify emerging issues relevant to Saferworld’s work and partnership approaches, and develop appropriate strategies to respond.
- Working closely with the Senior Operations Team, you will ensure funding plans are developed across business units and thematic/regional areas, and that income pipelines are maintained while quality assurance and active cost recovery are proactively pursued. You will oversee the funding and prospects pipeline, produce data and analysis to support decision-making, and provide regular reporting to senior leaders and the Board.
- Externally, you will represent Saferworld with key donors, partners and networks, building strategic relationships and identifying funding opportunities.
- You will lead the development, implementation and monitoring of Saferworld’s funding strategy, ensuring a balanced, ethical and diverse portfolio of restricted and unrestricted income streams. This will include securing quality funding against agreed targets and supporting income diversification through trusts and foundations, commercial funding, and other sources.
- You will work closely with Saferworld’s Grant Management Team to ensure a coordinated and strategic approach to donor relationship management and cultivation. You will also lead the design of multi-country and thematic proposals, as well as consortia bid development, to strengthen partnerships and support new ways of resourcing Saferworld’s strategy.
- The post-holder will set standards for collaborative and participatory programme design, manage proposal development processes from opportunity notice to contract signing, and ensure learning from donor feedback is used to strengthen our fundraising approach.
- You will lead the Funding Leadership Team to ensure cross-organisational ownership of fundraising efforts, and work closely with regional, thematic, policy and grant management colleagues throughout the funding cycle.
People and leadership
- You will line-manage the Funding and Programme Development Team and foster an environment where staff feel empowered, take responsibility and are accountable for achieving organisational objectives.
- You will ensure the team facilitates strong participatory programme design and proposal development with partners and staff, embedding Saferworld’s organisational values and principles. You will also support the team to work closely with colleagues across the organisation, grounding proposals in learning, evidence and evaluation findings.
About you
- You will bring proven senior leadership experience in funding, with a track record of developing and implementing funding strategies and raising income through a range of donors, including individuals, institutions, trusts and foundations. You will also have experience securing high-value contracts and grants of seven figures.
- You will have strong experience of leading complex participatory programme design, including developing budgets, monitoring frameworks and proposals. You will be confident coordinating programme development processes with multiple teams and partners to ensure a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- You will have a proven track record of motivating, mentoring and managing a team, and supporting that team to think creatively about fundraising. You will also be confident developing networks, building alliances, and nurturing relationships with individuals, collaborators and funders.
- You will bring a strong understanding of key political, development and humanitarian trends and debates, particularly linked to peacebuilding, development, human rights, governance, and security and justice. You will also have sound knowledge of UK civil society and charity regulatory requirements, and an understanding of the current international aid, peacebuilding and human rights funding environment.
- Experience of working and/or living in conflict-affected contexts, and understanding of peacebuilding and conflict prevention, are desirable.

- You will have excellent leadership and management skills, including strategic planning and business development. You will be able to provide sound financial and compliance advice, demonstrate good financial stewardship, and bring a creative, proactive approach to your work.
- You will be able to set priorities while working under pressure, adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities, and move between hands-on involvement in proposal writing and strategic oversight.
- You will bring strong communication skills, including experience of communicating across cultures and with diverse audiences. You will understand the power imbalances that may be reflected in programme design and budgeting, and bring a strong commitment to inclusive processes and to shifting power and resources to partners.

About the role
Cardiomyopathy UK's Director of Research and External Affairs leads the charity's research, policy and advocacy, and communications and marketing functions, with a team of four staff. The post-holder sets the strategic direction of the directorate, drives high-quality delivery, upholds the charity's values, and represents the charity externally. The Director is a member of the charity's Leadership Team, working closely with the CEO to steer the charity forward.
For the right person, this is an opportunity with real strategic scope. We want to build on our strong policy positions and evidence base and translate them into more proactive campaigning and influencing, moving from good policy thinking to concerted public affairs activity, strategic stakeholder engagement, and campaigns that achieve real change.
The Director will also lead the next phase of our research work, following our inaugural research grant-funding activity and James Lind Alliance top ten work. They will work with the Research Manager and our clinical and academic partners to better define and deliver our ambitions.
Raising awareness of cardiomyopathy, its signs, symptoms and genetic risk, is also within the team's scope. Too many people are still diagnosed late because neither they nor their GP knew what to look for. The Director will drive our communications and marketing agenda purposefully, equally ensuring the charity’s external profile is actively managed and enhanced.

They will have strong strategic, analytical and planning skills, with the ability to develop coherent strategies.
