As the Culture, Faith & Identity Communities Coordinator, it will be your role to support our 3,600 Student Leaders, Volunteers and Representatives who lead our 400 Student Groups. You will help students develop their leadership skills, build strong and inclusive communities through community cohesion, strengthen partnerships and collaboration, and ensure their groups remain compliant with relevant policies and procedures.  

This role will also be responsible for supporting and developing KCLSU Student Groups which include:

• Cultural Heritage & Nation Societies
• Faith & Spirituality Societies
• Identity & Community Societies

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Essential for Success

• Experience in community education, tenancy skills development, volunteering, training, and tenancy sustainment.
• Experience working alongside marginalised individuals or groups, using a coaching approach to build strengths and assets.
• A strong understanding of the needs, challenges, and sensitivities involved in supporting people facing homelessness and exclusion, with the ability to develop practical, person-centred solutions.
• Awareness of the barriers to engagement and participation experienced by people facing homelessness and an understanding of how these might be overcome.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an operations professional who shares EJF’s commitment to environmental justice and is ready to take on real responsibility across a fast-growing global non-profit organisation.

As Operations Officer, you will play a hands-on role in keeping EJF's international operations running smoothly across 16 countries on four continents, with a particular focus on our five European offices.

Your remit will be broad. About the role

Essential Criteria

1. An understanding of and commitment to the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service including a strong commitment to equality and diversity.

2. An understanding of the problems and issues associated with unmanageable debt and their implications for clients and advice service provision.

3. Recent experience of providing advice to the Advice Quality Standard and/or the willingness and ability to complete full debt advice training.

4. A good understanding of the skills and techniques used in interviewing clients through a range of channels including telephone, digital and face-to-face.

5. The ability to understand the needs of others and to empower clients to take action for themselves.

6. The ability to monitor and maintain own standards, prioritise work and meet deadlines and targets.

This Best Companies Top 100 mid-sized organisation and Top 20 Charity is looking to appoint a Neonatal Support Worker (35 hours, 5 days per week)' as part of a developing programme delivering high quality wrap-around care and support to families with a baby receiving treatment on the Neonatal Intensive Care units within the London & South East region, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team supporting the families.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the London & South East Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.
