Age UK Westminster is seeking a Digital Inclusion Lead Coordinator to work with the Wellbeing Services Manager on the delivery of its Digital Inclusion service, supporting older people and those experiencing social isolation to develop the confidence, skills and access needed to participate fully in the digital world. About the role
This role will help to drive forward the public health, inclusion, and awareness team’s work across the UK, which is to empower patients and the public to play a full role in managing their own risk of getting breast cancer, diagnosing breast cancer earlier and improving their quality of life after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, thereby reducing the risk of recurrence.

Your role will consist of coordination between individuals and organisations enquiring about booking public health talks as well as supporting with drop-in sessions for volunteers. You will also support the manager to update resources, action feedback from stakeholders and work with other teams within the charity such as volunteering. This role involves frequent communication with a range of people through email, telephone and over MS Teams. You will use our database (Unity) to log all communications and to keep track of talks progress. Our database also tracks volunteer training and availability. Alongside our database, our volunteer portal allows you to interact with all the public health volunteers at once for events, online talks and resources.
About you
You will be highly organised, able to manage priorities and have excellent verbal and written skills. You will have solid customer service or stakeholder engagement experience. The Sickle Cell Society (SCS) is the only national charity in the UK that supports and represents people affected by a sickle cell disorder. We provide information, advice and support to enable people to improve their overall quality of life. Over 19,000 people in the UK have a sickle cell disorder, an inherited condition that predominantly affects people of Black African and Black Caribbean heritage; and to a lesser extent people of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, South Asian and Central/South American heritage.
Job Purpose:
To assist the Fundraising Manager in the delivery of our Fundraising Strategy and on-going development to achieve our fundraising priorities and targets. An exciting and varied role, we are seeking a strong team player, and someone with the confidence and initiative to help develop and grow charitable income. The post holder will be someone with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the enthusiasm to want to learn and get things done. We are a small, friendly and closely knit team of 20 skilled and highly committed staff and over 50 active volunteers.
The post-holder will work closely with the Fundraising Manager, and wider team to provide an engaging supporter journey and timely, efficient donor care to existing and new supporters of the Society. Responsible for helping the team meet our agreed income targets for celebratory giving, challenge events, community fundraising and corporate payroll giving initiatives.; the post-holder will be keen on developing their Fundraising career and interested in expanding their use of CRM databases, data management and the production of reports for effective donor stewardship.
You will be responsible for the membership and donors’ database (Beacon) keeping it up to date and reporting back on results, whilst ensuring data compliance and implementation of data. You will be highly proficient in the use of business IT systems in particular Microsoft Excel to analyse data, and you will also have at least one year’s experience, or equivalent, in producing detailed and insightful reports.
The post-holder will be a confident communicator and collaborator with proven relationship building and creative and innovative fundraising skills. You will also support the development of our fundraising communications, monitoring performance across all channels driving best practice and income growth. You will generate and develop engaging fundraising communications and be responsible for your own copywriting, including thanking our wonderful donors via the most appropriate communication channels.

Catalyst Support is looking for a confident and values-led Safe Haven Team Lead to support the smooth running of our out-of-hours crisis prevention and support service across Aldershot, Guildford and Woking. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a partnership model that brings together community connections and statutory mental health providers to reduce emotional and psychological distress for people experiencing, or at risk of escalating to, a mental health crisis.
You will help lead and support Safe Haven staff, manage rotas and cover, contribute to safe and effective incident management, and work closely with colleagues and partner organisations to ensure the service is consistent, high quality and responsive. The role will suit someone with experience in mental health or social care settings who can remain calm under pressure, communicate confidently, support staff wellbeing and performance, and build positive relationships across services.

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. It aims to raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions; fight to improve frontline mental health services for individuals and carers; provide support, information and guidance through SANEline, our Call Back service, email and text support; and promote and host research into causes, treatments and therapies through its Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE research.
We are looking for people interested in providing compassionate support to people affected by mental health problems. This includes supporting people with severe mental illness, and carers, families and friends. In this role you will provide confidential emotional support by telephone, email and text, as well supporting our skilled volunteers through their development and during their weekly shifts.
This role provides valuable practical experience in providing emotional support to vulnerable people. Working within SANE support services requires a high level of empathy and emotional resilience as well as excellent communication skills. SANE takes take pride in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for both our staff and volunteers. Fullers Mill Garden is an enchanting and tranquil waterside and woodland garden, situated on the banks of the River Lark at West Stow in Suffolk. It combines a beautiful site of light dappled woodland with a fabulous collection of rare and unusual shrubs, perennials, lilies and marginal plants, collected over the course of 50 years by the creator of the garden, the late Bernard Tickner MBE.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Fullers Mill Garden into its next chapter as a Perennial garden, maintaining and evolving a beautiful garden with a team of gardeners, volunteers and trainees – to give our garden loving visitors a magical experience on each visit. The garden is currently undergoing a process of proposed investment in its visitor infrastructure. The Garden Manager will be a key member of the project team.
Overall purpose
1. Through high standards of garden and landscape management and garden maintenance, ensure that the history, ecology, evolved design and artistic integrity of Fullers Mill and other grounds associated with the site are conserved and presented to an exemplary standard.
2. To recruit, train, manage and develop staff to achieve high standards of garden presentation and visitor satisfaction.
3. To build a culture that makes involvement in the garden a rewarding, rich and enjoyable experience for visitors, volunteers and staff.
4. To identify and develop opportunities for the promotion of the garden and the development of the visitor experience managing partnerships and relationships
Main responsibilities and duties
1. Management of gardens and landscape
a. To be responsible for the maintenance and management of the garden and its associated landscape within an approved budget.
b. To maintain high standards of garden and facilities presentation at all times.
c. Responsible for the day to day running of the garden and supervision of staff, volunteers and contractors to ensure that appropriate horticultural and service standards are maintained.
d. To oversee the management and delivery of educational, training and skills activities and events, utilising the facilities and buildings within the site.
e. To undertake the direct delivery of activities on selected topics relating to horticulture and the garden.
f. To contribute as a key member of the Perennial project team in the formulation and delivery of the plan for the long-term future of Fullers Mill garden and buildings.
g. To co-ordinate the Fullers Mill Garden Committee, establishing sound relationships with its members and utilising their knowledge and experience in maintaining and developing the garden.
2. Financial Management:
a. Work alongside the Commercial Development Director to manage allocated budgets, prepare and provide bids for capital expenditure and small projects associated with the site.
3. Staff management, training and development:
a. To be responsible for staff recruitment, training and development of competencies to deliver agreed maintenance and presentation standards and to be responsible for staff welfare, discipline and other employee issues in consultation with the organisations central support team.
4. Projects and coordination:
a. To participate in the project team overseeing the creation of new visitor facilities and infrastructure;

c. To ensure a coordinated approach for all site-based garden maintenance, development, visitor facilities and services and to effectively manage change as appropriate.

a. To work with the marketing team to explore and deliver initiatives both nationally and regionally to increase awareness of both the charity and its gardens.
b. Where appropriate explore and support local marketing opportunities to encourage greater access for visitors, to identify and engage in opportunities which promote the charity and the garden as a high quality visitor attraction.
c. To act as site representative, promoting the charity and the garden to ensure positive relationships.

a. To ensure that all site documentation is maintained and distributed where appropriate.
