The role
As a Senior Coach you will be working on the frontline delivering high quality one-to-one support to a caseload of young people across London. You will support young people to recognise and capitalise on their strengths by taking a coaching approach. You will work with young people who have been identified as having higher support needs and be proactive in taking steps to manage risk across your caseload. We are looking for a Senior Coach who can lead on demonstrating best practice across the coaching team and support the Programme Management Team to maintain an excellent standard of support. You will use your insight and experience to act as a mentor to new coaches and support coaching colleagues in their practice, and to look to actively improve our support offer in collaboration with other Senior Coaches and Programme Managers. We are looking for someone who is compassionate in their work with others and celebrates examples of good practice whilst highlighting where there are areas for improvement, approaching this in a collaborative way.
You will draw on your experience to build and strengthen relationships with external professionals and develop Settle’s network across the boroughs where young people live.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
- To develop and deliver our strategy including a business plan and regular progression reports for the Board to ensure the charity is financially robust.
- To develop existing and new income streams to secure the future of the charity and enable us to meet our charitable objectives of benefitting children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties through arts therapies and arts activities. This is likely to include grant fundraising, exploring procurement and commissioning routes, philanthropy, appropriate business sponsorship, training delivery and pathways for private purchasing of our service.
- To line manage, support, and collaborate with our Operations and Clinical Director who oversees our team of therapists and practitioners in ensuring all staff are adequately trained, registered, supervised and supported to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- To provide leadership for the charity both internally in regards to a positive and nurturing culture and externally in regard to reputation, partnerships and opportunities.
- To ensure all relevant policies are implemented effectively, developed and reviewed as required.
- To act as one of three Designated Safeguarding Officers and ensure policy is implemented effectively.
- To ensure the charity fulfils all its statutory obligations, working alongside the Board to achieve this.
- To ensure the charity has appropriate systems in place for the management and mitigation of risk.
- To ensure the charity meets its obligations under health and safety law.
- To lead on the development of innovative arts therapy programmes, in collaboration with our Operations and Clinical Director, our staff team and stakeholders.
- To ensure evaluation and impact data is collected and utilised for our learning and to provide evidence for the effectiveness of YAHT’s services.
- To act as an ambassador for the charity.

St Mungo’s Assertive Contact and Engagement (ACE) Service works with people with mental health needs who face barriers to support, and are not actively engaged with other mental health services. We operate across Bristol supporting people and communities that may have had difficulty accessing services that fully meet their needs in the past.
Working within St Mungo’s ACE team offers a unique opportunity to work creatively, and shape the provision for clients while working alongside another Clinical Psychologist.
The ACE Clinical Psychologist provides clinical leadership to the service as well as delivering therapy in a psychologically-led, trauma-informed mental health engagement service. The ACE service provides home- or community-based support/social interventions and location-based therapy for people who would otherwise need statutory mental health services, but who experience barriers such as multiple/chronic exclusion, complex trauma, personality disorder, and so-called ‘chaotic behaviours’ that would likely make current statutory services inaccessible for them. Key aspects of the role include:
- Provide clinical leadership for the service
- Lead, line manage and deliver the therapy aspect of the service.
- Lead and provide psychological assessments, formulations and interventions in group and one-to-one settings.
- Work in close partnership with the Service Manager and other managers to ensure that all aspects of the service are fully psychologically informed.

About you
We are looking for a Psychologist with a passion for working with individuals and groups who face inequalities in accessing substance use and / or mental health services; and for developing services that are fully responsive to their needs.
You will also be experienced in supporting staff (psychologists and/or non-qualified staff) who are working with clients who experience complex trauma, substance use and homelessness – to foster psychological ideas and interventions.

About the role
Sitting within our people and organisational development team and reporting into the senior learning & organisational development manager, you’ll support us with a wide range of administrative duties across the learning & development; people; equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and internal communications & engagement functions.

We are recruiting for a User Experience (UX) Designer to join the Digital Team on a 23-month Fixed Term Contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join The National Lottery Community Fund as a UX Designer.
In this role, you’ll be discovering user needs, analysing, and sharing insights with colleagues as well as designing new user experiences and user interfaces for both testing with customers and live deployment. Using techniques that vary from sketching on paper to ‘sketching in code’. You will also build digital design assets ready for use by a developer.
You will be part of our Digital team. We’re a multi-disciplinary team, working to user-led design principles. You will work with other designers, researchers, developers, and colleagues across the Fund to design solutions that meet user needs and reflect our values.

The responsibilities of the job include:
- Design user-centred experiences from concept to implementation

The purpose of the role is to support the Bishops of Manchester, Peterborough, and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich in their duties as Members of the House of Lords. The work includes research and information gathering, drafting speeches and questions, managing meetings, appointments and other events on behalf of the Bishops and such other work as they and the Head of Parliamentary Affairs may require from time to time.
The Parliamentary and Policy Researcher's priorities and tasks will be determined by the Bishops, with whom the postholder will be expected to have frequent direct contact along with their key advisers. In conjunction with their offices, the Head of Parliamentary Affairs will manage, guide and oversee the parliamentary work of the postholder.
The postholder's working time will be divided equally between the three Bishops. Flexibility in the working pattern will be required, depending on the respective requirements of each, their commitments in the House of Lords, including duty weeks.
The work of the Bishops in the House of Lords is guided by their policy and local interests, as well as their status as religious leaders with a national profile.
Policy interests:
- The Bishop of Manchester is the Convener of the Lords Spiritual. In this role, he chairs meetings of the Lords Spiritual, liaises with bodies within the House of Lords and the House of Commons, and works closely with the Parliamentary Unit at Church House. His areas of interest include housing and homelessness, crime and policing, international trade, and regional issues impacting Manchester and the North-west.
- Bishop of Peterborough's areas of interest include Children and Young People, Education, and Health and Social Care.
- Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich was the lead Bishop for Safeguarding in the National Church before translating to the diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, and remains deputy Safeguarding Lead. She also has an interest in media and justice issues.
As such the post may be well suited to someone who has particular experience of or interest in these areas of policy.
From time to time the postholder may also be called upon to add capacity to the Parliamentary Team by providing resource to other Lords Spiritual on policy areas they have become familiar with in their work for the Bishops of Manchester, Peterborough, and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich.
The postholder will need to have access to the Parliamentary Estate, so will be required to apply for a security pass sponsored by one of the employing Bishops, and will be expected to abide by the rules and codes set by Parliament that accompany the issuing of a pass. The postholder will also have access to the facilities offered to Lambeth Palace and other NCI staff, observing the responsibilities and protocols which apply to all.
The balance between parliamentary tasks and those that relate to the Bishops' diocesan roles is likely to vary depending on the parliamentary cycle.
The Parliamentary and Policy Researcher will be based with the Parliamentary Team. This is located at Lambeth Palace, London, SE1 7JU (within the Church of England's wider Faith and Public Life Team), and at Church House, Westminster, SW1P 3AZ. Some flexibility, including home working, is possible, though there is an expectation that the postholder be available to attend Westminster.

We are recruiting for a family support worker and we would like to hear from you if you have a Level 3 qualification or substantial work experience related to social care, social work, family support or early help. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that plans for the process of assessment, co-ordination and delivery of placement and family support and transition plans are developed and managed on a day to day basis to agreed standards.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate contact arrangements, linking with networks and families in a manner which is integrated with the community’s existing relationship and contribute to and develop its professional effectiveness.
- Contribute to the holistic assessment of needs of children, families and networks.
