Advance's Young Londoners Victim Service is looking for a Triage Worker who can provide individual assessment of impact and risk within the Young Londoners Victim Service Model, through dedicated telephone or online-based intervention and comprehensive, holistic intake processes.

In this role, you will provide high quality support to all victims and witnesses of crime, leading on initial impact and risk assessments and delivering immediate and short-term intervention to anyone affected by crime. Support will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users to support those affected by crime in understanding and asserting their rights and entitlements, facilitate access to additional services through signposting clients to other provision when appropriate, establish healthy coping mechanisms, and provide practical support and information.

About You:

To be successful as the Triage Worker you will need the below experience and skills:

You bring strong experience in coordination and administration which will enable you to manage referrals to the service on a daily basis. You ensure that all data and information is entered accurately into the case management system and manage the shared email inboxes responding to queries in a timely manner. You have previous experience of delivering a service and working directly with clients in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting. You demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong, constructive working relationships and partner with partnerships with relevant statutory and voluntary groups.

About the role

The Community Support Worker will play a key role in our community support team and service provision.  Leading a team of volunteers, they will manage community enquiries through our helpline, digital channels, and in person at our Welcome Area, ensuring that IRMO remains a warm and accessible space for all. 

They will work closely with other teams to provide service users with accurate, up-to-date information, support the delivery of our advice services and make referrals to partner organisations and services. They will also play a key role in the delivery of the Community Support and Access to Health initiatives by planning, organising and delivering one-to-one support, outreach activities and workshops. This post is designated for a Portuguese speaker, in order to strengthen engagement and inclusion of Brazilians and other Portuguese-speaking migrant communities.

Key responsibilities

Community Support

• Serve as a key point of contact for Portuguese and Spanish-speaking community members, guaranteeing a welcoming environment, managing enquiries and referring to relevant IRMO services or external providers as needed.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal and external resources and services available to the community, and share this information with community members.

• Follow safeguarding practices across the services provided by the Community Support team.

• Actively contribute to the planning, organising and delivery of the Advice area’s  activities, events and workshops, including outreach sessions.

• Lead the recruitment, induction and supervision of Community Support volunteers.

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. • Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced acquisition fundraiser with strong commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Campaign Leadership

• Develop and implement the multi-channel acquisition strategy, aligned with income targets and supporter growth objectives.
• Lead on the planning and delivery of campaigns across direct dialogue, digital, DRTV, and print channels.
• Lead on the planning and delivery of the onboarding process for all new recruits.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insight-driven recommendations to optimise results.
• Drive testing and innovation to expand existing channels and introduce new ones within acceptable risk and return parameters.

Budget Ownership & Performance Monitoring

• Take full responsibility for acquisition budget management, income forecasting and cost control.
• Set, monitor, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting against ROI, CPA, and long-term value across all acquisition channels.
• Collaborate with the Senior Database Manager and the Director of Data and Technology to develop and maintain performance dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and support strategic data analysis, including both short-term and long-term channel performance evaluation.

Agency & Partner Management

• Manage day-to-day relationships with external fundraising and creative partners.
• Lead briefings, content sourcing, agent training, stakeholder approvals, and quality assurance processes.
• Negotiate contracts and hold suppliers accountable for delivery and performance.

Cross-Team and Market Integration

• Represent the acquisition programme in cross-functional planning meetings and contribute to a unified team culture focused on strategic delivery.
• Deliver and optimise the onboarding and conversion programme for new donors.
• Develop CRO strategies and implement with support from the Communications team, whilst supporting the enhancement of web development
• Ensure consistent campaign integration across touchpoints and maximise thematic/creative cohesion, working in collaboration with the Senior Communications Manager to lead and develop the creative and content strategy for acquisition.
• Act as a key liaison with colleagues across Operation Smile global markets, sharing insights and exploring opportunities to align strategy, co-develop creative, or pilot cross-market initiatives.

Compliance, Risk & Best Practice

• Ensure all campaigns meet legal, ethical and data protection requirements (e.g., GDPR, Fundraising Regulator).
• Act as a key contributor to organisational risk assessments relating to income performance and supplier performance.
• Keep up to date with sector trends, innovations and benchmarks to maintain best practice.

Person Specification

Essential Experience

• Extensive experience (ideally 5+ years) in Individual Giving or fundraising acquisition roles.
• Proven success delivering multi-channel acquisition campaigns with strong ROI.
• Experience managing external agencies and suppliers to high-performance standards.

• Demonstrated experience managing and reporting on substantial acquisition budgets.

Position: S11347 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based North East and Yorkshire Region, South Tees area. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include, home visits, team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to offer support to stroke survivors and their families; plan and deliver stroke support group sessions and ensure the smooth running of the service.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator’s key responsibilities will include:

• Working with stroke survivors and carers to identify their needs, providing person centred support which enables them to achieve their desired outcomes.
• Delivering an effective service in line with our case management principles ensuring that confidential and accurate records are kept on the CRM database.
• Supporting clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Working collaboratively with other professionals and organisations involved in the care of stroke survivors and carers to ensure the best possible support is provided throughout the stroke pathway.
• Planning and facilitating Stroke support group sessions to increase participants’ understanding of stroke and how to manage/ support their recovery.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

• Experience of providing person centred support.
• Experience of working with people with a disability or long-term health condition, and their carers.
• Experience of using technology and IT systems to support your work and keep timely, accurate records.
• Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
• Experience of working with health and social care professionals in a variety of settings.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality including the delivery of face-to-face support in the form of stroke awareness sessions, home and hospital visits. Some time may also be spent working within a hospital team.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

In recognition of the distinct challenges facing young women and girls (YWG), Advance has developed and delivers specialist provision for young women and girls on the Maia & Lift programme, in partnership with other specialist organisations.

Our team of Maia Mentor Advocates deliver consistent, holistic support to a small caseload of YWG, working to build relationships of trust, empower YWG to explore their identities, sense of safety, aspirations, and providing practical help and advocacy where needed. As a Youth Advocate, you will provide a dedicated service for girls aged 9-13 at risk of domestic abuse, school exclusion, exploitation, gang involvement and contact with the criminal justice systems, as well as engage with their parents and carers, putting children at the heart of your work.

To be successful as the Youth Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You bring your experience and ability to work intensively with a selected cohort of girls (aged up to 13) on a 1:1 basis, and within a group setting, in a trauma informed way. You will have a strong understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable children and families, and use your knowledge of family functioning, parenting and child development to inform assessment. You can confidently, sensitively and proactively assess risks and safety concerns, raising concerns with the Service Manager, working within local safeguarding frameworks and taking appropriate action to safeguard girls with complex needs. You bring experience of working with Children and Young people with multiple needs and diagnosis such as ADHD, Mental Health, Self Harm, CSE, ASD and how these impact the family, individual and self when delivering work.
