Emergency Nutrition Network (ENN) works to reduce undernutrition globally. We enhance the effectiveness of nutrition policy and programming by improving knowledge, stimulating learning and building evidence. We are passionate about being network-driven, independent and evidence-based.

What we do

Our Strategy aims to enhance the effectiveness of nutrition policy and programming by improving knowledge, stimulating learning, building evidence, and providing support and encouragement to practitioners and decisionmakers involved in nutrition and related interventions.  ENN’s portfolio includes projects specialising in Infant Feeding in Emergencies, Wasting and Stunting, Adolescent Nutrition and Management of small & nutritionally At-risk Infants under six months & their Mothers (MAMI), as well as our highly regarded international publication, Field Exchange (FEX). 

The Role

This is a new opportunity to develop the role of Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to lead the identification, development and submission of new funding proposals, and to lead on relationship management with new and potential investors.   You will work closely with the technical and operation teams.

 

About You

Bringing your experience of funding development to ENN, you will be ready to jump in and progress work quickly to capitalise on critical time sensitive funding opportunities. You will be comfortable assessing diverse funding opportunities, building and maintaining partner relationships, coordinating the development of grant applications and proposals in line with organisational priorities, ensuring they are tailored to donor and investor motivations and interests.

 

Terms and Conditions

Hours of work: Part-time flexible working, up to 22.5 hours per week/ 0.6FTE

Type of contract:  Part time. 12 months fixed term contract initially

Location: UK/Remote - Flexible. Some hybrid working may be offered to candidates in proximity to ENN’s Head Office in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2DN.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead on identifying and researching new potential investors in the private and corporate sectors to support a broader and more diverse funding base.

2. Work with the Technical team on finding and engaging with new opportunities and starting up discussion with potential new investors

3. Support relationship management with investors and potential investors, in coordination with relevant project leads.

4. Coordinate the development and submission of new funding proposals that fit with ENN’s strategic direction, working with technical and operations staff to prepare all required proposal documentation in line with funding guidelines and timelines.

5. Ensure due diligence checks are completed on potential funders and partner capacity assessments on potential subgrantees.

6. Maintain ENN’s ‘live’ funding database

7. Contribute to the review and development of ENN’s funding strategy

Person Specification

· Experience in working with a diverse range of donors or investors to develop funding opportunities.

· Experience developing compelling funding proposals that respond to the needs of potential investors and are in line with organisational strategy, values and expertise.

· Success in securing funding from a range of funders or investors – such as public, private, corporate, institutional, multinational banks, and experience of direct fundraising with major donors (trusts and foundations/high net worth individuals, corporates).

· Ability to represent ENN externally, broker connections and communicate with diverse range of investors.

· Ability to broker and coordinate inputs from team members across projects and a range of specialities (technical, operations, finance)

· Ability to understand donor proposal requirements/application guidance.

· Ability to manage a diverse and busy workload, prioritising effectively, and able to work both independently and as a member of the wider team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, working well with other team members and stakeholders (both internal and external).

· Able to work creatively and deliver to deadlines. A self-starter, able to diagnose situations and constraints, comfortable when to progress independently and when to escalate.

This role is offered on a flexible, part-time (0.8 FTE) permanent contract, with a salary of £49,200–£53,300 per annum (pro rata), alongside flexible remote working arrangements between home and their London sites.

As part of the senior leadership team, the post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering an income generation strategy and achieving income growth across multiple streams, including commercial income, grants, and statutory funding. They will be hands-on, actively engaging in applications, prospecting, communication, and developing new income opportunities. They will build strong relationships with staff, volunteers, and service users, and will have the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and develop external partnerships. The Data Management and Insight Officer will support the day-to-day management of White Ribbon’s data systems, including CRM (Zoho Bigin) and email marketing processes, website data capture, reporting and audience journeys. The role will help ensure that data is accurate, joined up, compliant and useful, enabling teams across the organisation to better understand audiences, improve engagement, evidence impact and make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

Data management and quality

• Manage and maintain organisational data, ensuring records are accurate, consistent, up to date and fit for purpose.
• Carry out regular data cleaning, including removing duplicates and improving the quality and completeness of records.
• Help to develop and embed clear processes for data entry, data storage, data management and reporting.
• Support colleagues to use agreed systems, templates and processes consistently.
• Identify gaps, issues or risks in current data processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Ensure that personal and sensitive data is handled securely and in line with GDPR, confidentiality requirements and internal policies.

CRM, systems and data flows

• Carry out he day-to-day management and development of White Ribbon’s CRM system, currently Zoho Bigin and any future CRM platforms.
• Map and monitor key data flows between systems, including Zoho Bigin, Mailchimp, Squarespace and other relevant platforms.
• Ensure that data pathways between systems are working effectively, including between Zoho Bigin and Mailchimp.

• Support the management of mailing lists, audience records, campaign data and supporter information.
• Work with system providers or external support where required to resolve issues and improve processes.

 Email marketing, audience journeys and segmentation

• Support the management of audience journeys, working with relevant teams to ensure the right emails are going out to the right audiences at the right time.
• Help to ensure that data is collected consistently through audience journeys, forms, campaigns and website activity.
• Support colleagues to understand and improve audience segmentation, including Ambassadors, Champions, Accredited Organisations, supporters, partners and other key audiences.

Website and Promise page administration

We’re excited to offer an opportunity as Local Services Manager for Somerset. This is a home-based role, but you’ll need to travel regularly across the region for meetings, engagement activities, and partnership work. Mileage claims will be paid from the Somerset border. This is a large, rural county with poor transport links, so access to your own vehicle is required.

Somerset is a unique area for Alzheimer’s Society, with services delivered through a grant-funded contract with supportive and innovative commissioners. The Somerset Dementia Adviser Service is also an active participant in the Somerset Dementia Partnership, and has supported delivery of conferences and activities. The local ICB has recently clustered with Dorset and BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire, connecting you to colleagues within your ICB and the wider South West.

You’ll work closely with another Local Services Manager to oversee delivery across the region. Your responsibilities will include managing contracts and groups, leading a team of Dementia Advisers, our valued volunteers and ensuring services align with our Help and Hope strategy and organisational values.

About you

You will have:

- Experience in managing or supporting service delivery, ideally within health, social care or community settings or transferable experience from related sectors.
 
- Experience in leading geographically dispersed, community-based teams and managing contracts, with a focus on quality and safe delivery of a high performing service.
 
- You will be confident using IT systems and managing and reviewing information through computerised recording systems. You will also be able to confidently navigate relationships through virtual means, including Teams.

Osman Consulting Ltd supports the design, coordination, and implementation of humanitarian and development programmes across multiple regions, with a primary focus on Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Latin America

The Senior Programmes Officer (Maternity Cover) is responsible for supporting the effective coordination, delivery, and development of a multi-country humanitarian programme portfolio. The role ensures continuity of programme implementation during the maternity cover period by maintaining strong partner relationships, overseeing programme progress, and supporting high-quality proposal development and reporting.

5. Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or equivalent experience in international development, humanitarian studies, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, project management, or humanitarian/development settings
• Proven experience in proposal development, including budget preparation
• Strong experience working with implementing partners and managing multi-country programmes
• Experience reviewing narrative and financial reports and ensuring donor compliance
• Familiarity with working alongside finance and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) teams

6. Core Competencies

Support Coordinator

We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join our Stroke Recovery Service based in Crewe.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: 000009 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based – Crewe, Cheshire. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

· Provide personalised information, advice and support.

· Supporting stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.

· Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About You

You will have experience in:

· Experience/background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities

· Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records.

· An affinity with the values of the Stroke Association.

· A flexible approach and an ability to effectively manage a caseload.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role

Villagers Connect Project – a great opportunity to join our team at Action in rural Sussex

Villagers Connect is a community development project which is working to sustain a strong and vibrant community in the villages of Colgate, Faygate and Rusper. It aims to build connections and relationships which increase confidence, independence and empowerment, particularly for the over 65’s.

We are seeking a part-time community development worker to work as part of a small team that is active in this rural location in the Horsham district. This role involves a good deal of community-based activity, engaging with older people and the wider community. This does therefore require someone who is understanding of older people and their interests, abilities and needs.

We champion an asset based approach to community development, which is about building on existing strengths and supporting local people to flourish; undertaking community led projects that create community cohesion and have lasting impact.

Key Objectives

· Support older people to access services and support locally that will meet their needs and improve their quality of life

· Improve the lived experiences for older people in these rural communities

· Build connections and relationships across and within the three parishes to reduce social isolation

· Develop new and support existing activities to enable a vibrant community

· Increase confidence, independence and empowerment amongst individuals, groups and community based organisations.

· Strengthen existing community assets, knowledge and skills in line with our asset based approach to the Villagers Connect Project

· Support community resilience by building community networks which are strong and sustainable into the future

Two years in, the project is well established and has gone from strength to strength. We are now seeking a new member of the team to help drive this project forward and enable this community to celebrate what can be achieved when people come together and support one another to age well and live full and active lives, despite the challenges of rural living.
