The Training Team is part of Business Development and delivers high quality, evidence based mental health training to organisations across Leeds and Yorkshire. Our training helps workplaces build awareness, confidence and practical skills to support mental health and wellbeing for their employees.

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, engaging and experienced Mental Health & Wellbeing Trainer to join our growing Business Development team who can deliver, develop and continuously improve high-quality learning experiences. You will deliver a wide range of training to corporate clients, using interactive, inclusive and evidence-based approaches. Alongside delivery, you will play a key role in developing innovative training products and ensuring our offer remains relevant, engaging and impactful for modern workplaces. You will also support the wider success of the training service, including contributing to income generation, maintaining accurate records, and supporting continuous improvement through feedback and evaluation. Essential Skills and Experience:

Hope into Action is an inspiring story.  It starts with a couple, Ed and Rach Walker, who decide to use £30,000 of their own money to buy a house for people who were homeless in Peterborough in 2010.  And from this seed, an organisation has grown which 16 years later has 134 houses and has seen over £34 million invested in homes for people who were homeless.

Hope into Action is a story of how faith in God has been put into action and led to resources being shared, new relationships being formed and people’s lives being transformed.

Last year we housed over 500 people who had been homeless. Each of those individuals has a story to share of how Hope into Action has helped them. This is the story we want to share.

The Communications & Engagement Lead is responsible for implementing Hope into Action’s communications and engagement strategy. Working closely with the CEO, they will be responsible for telling the Hope into Action story and driving increased engagement with our vision for every church in the UK to be engaged in ending homelessness.

At least 50% of the role is harvesting stories from around our Network to create engaging content which expresses our vision and mission. We want someone who can be both responsive and strategic. To hear a story from our frontline workers and be able to share it on our website and social media later that day – whilst also working towards the longer term goal of more people in the UK being aware of our work and its impact.

Main Purpose Of The Job:

The Events and Community Fundraiserwill take responsibility for the planning and delivery of Homeless Oxfordshire’s events and third party events, and provide exceptional care to our community fundraisers. Working closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and Partnerships Fundraising Manager and the wider Fundraising and Communiations team, they will plan and run a calendar of events to engage our community and corporate supporters, as well as the general public, with the aim of raising money for and awareness Homeless Oxfordshire.

They will work with the Community Fundraising Manager to develop and build relationships with community and corporate supporters, and give talks to community groups (schools, faith groups, local organisations etc.) to encourage their support for the charity.

Main Areas Of Responsibility:

Events Planning And Delivery

· Oversee planning and delivery of our community and corporate events including the Golf Day, Race Across Oxfordshire, the Business Breakfast, HOxStock, and the Thank You event.

· Liaise with venues, suppliers and contractors to ensure all events are well planned and professionally run.

· Manage all event communications, from invitations, registration, to event day and follow up, ensuring an excellent support journey throughout.

· Support the Community Fundraising Manger on third party events, including Homeless Oxfordshire’s participation in the Oxford Half Marathon, the London Marathon, London to Brighton bike ride and other challenge events.

· Manage and plan event day activity at third party challenge events.

· Support community groups who are running their own “in aid of” events for Homeless Oxfordshire, providing materials and promotion and attending events where appropriate.

· Ensure timely communications and stewardship of all challenge event participants.

Community Fundraising

· Support the Community Fundraising Manager to research and identify community fundraising prospects, and deliver communications and approaches to engage schools, colleges, faith groups and other community organisations.

· Give talks to community groups (schools, faith groups, local organisations etc.) to encourage their support for the charity and represent Homeless Oxfordshire at community fundraising events.

· Support the Partnership Fundraising Manager to steward employee fundraising activities e.g. bake sales, Giftmas collections etc.

· Work with HR and the Community Fundraising Manager to recruit and manage Community Fundraising Volunteers who can give talks to community groups.

· Work with the Community Fundraising Manager and Marketing and Communications Manager to develop presentations and resources to enable volunteers to represent Homeless Oxfordshire at community events.

· Oversee the administration linked to community fundraisers, including updating the database with communications and monitoring and managing fundraising materials.

· Support community fundraisers to use and register on third party platforms e.g. JustGiving, Enthuse, providing encouragement and tips for securing sponsorship and funding.

· Ensure timely and professional communication and interaction with community supporters, and prompt thanking of fundraisers and donors.

· Take responsibility for responding to/redirecting all emails to the shared fundraising inbox.

· Undertake other relevant duties, supporting the Fundraising and Communications team as required.

What the job involves

We’re looking an Events and Community Coordinator to join our Events and Community Team. We’re a results-driven team focused on maximising opportunities, reaching ambitious goals, and delivering an outstanding experience for our supporters.

Our team raise funds through a range of activities including:

· our own events (e.g. March for Men)

· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)

· third party events (e.g. London Marathon)

· Golf Days

· helping community fundraisers who organise their own activity

You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers, providing admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey you'll help motivate during challenges, offer fundraising advice and ensure thanks at the end of a first-class experience.

Whilst each Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also work across teams to support where needed during busy periods of activity. This role sits within the Community Fundraising sub-team, supporting people organising their own fundraiser, from bake sales to head shaves and unique walking and cycling challenges. Day-to-day, you’ll manage our inbox and proactively reach out to new fundraisers to offer support and guidance, as well as delivering core processes like thanking, fulfilment and volunteer management in collaboration with other internal teams.

You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising activity, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

About This Job

This is an exciting role within the Army Cadet Adventurous Training team responsible for ensuring all support elements are in place to facilitate the AT service for the Army Cadets and Combined Cadet Force.

We are looking for a training professional to bring their skills, enthusiasm, and personal credibility to the team to assist with strategic planning, budget management and HR matters. You will line manage the CCAT Facilities and Logistics Officers.

In conjunction with the CCAT Training Officer you will support the Centre Managers with planning and delivery of courses and expeditions.

From time to time, you will be required to deputise for the Head of AT or the Centre Managers which may involve travel throughout the UK and overseas, working some evenings, bank holidays and weekends.

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. We are now looking for a second Service Deilvery Manager to share the delivery of our reading projects across London to ensure that all of our projects are delivered to schedule and our families and children are supported. Role Purpose

The Education Trainer supports the Education Manager in the design and delivery of specialist, evidence-informed trainings programmes for education professionals equipping them to support bereaved children, young people, adults and communities.

Using trauma-informed, evidence-based content delivered through both digital platforms and in-person, the role ensures schools and educational staff have practical tools to identify, respond to, support and/or refer bereaved children, young people and adults.

We are recruiting for two Education Trainers, both to work full-time hours (35 per week). One term-time only and the other to work year-round.

Main Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with the Education Team and the team’s administrator to co-ordinate training requests responses.
• Working with the Education Manager and colleagues, support the design of training programmes tailored to the needs of the training delegates.
• Deliver the organisation’s education training packages online and/or face-to-face as required.
• Work with the team to ensure efficient flow of processes and procedures.
• To research key areas in need of bereavement training packages.
• To be an ambassador for the ASK Me Training and Manifesto to early years, primary, secondary and higher education institutions and professionals.
• To form key relationships with individuals and organisations to promote off-the-shelf training as well as rapid response, ASK Me and bespoke education training.
• To work with the team to develop new education training programmes and content.
• Work with the Marketing and Communications Team to promote education training programmes.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and review feedback framework to evaluate the training.
• Use feedback to improve the current training offer and identify gaps in education training offers.

 Communication and Relationships

• Build and maintain effective relationships with education professionals across early years, primary, secondary and higher education sector.

First Stage Screening Interviews

You may be asked to attend a 10-minute Screening Interview on MS Teams with the Hiring Managers for the vacancy, to assess your suitability for the role. During the interview, you will be asked two skills-based questions.

Second Stage Interviews

The Communications, Marketing and Insight team at KCLSU are looking for a Communications Officer to develop and implement communications plans for a diverse range of work including both internal and external communications, to increase awareness, engagement and satisfaction. 
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Developing communications plans for liberation history months, wellbeing, advice and volunteering initiatives and providing communications support where needed. 
• Working collaboratively to understand each service's, project area's or Student Officer's objectives and work to communicate their roles and the work they do in an effective and engaging way.  
• Producing and providing content for newsletters and other communications channels, including the weekly KCLSU Updates for the student body and internal comms newsletter for the wider organisation. 
• Managing student staff and freelancers, as needed.
