As our Senior Technical Advisor, you will play a critical global role providing expert leadership on child protection and childcare reform across Lumos programmes and partnerships. This is an opportunity for an experienced specialist to influence national reform processes, strengthen programme quality, and support governments and partners to deliver meaningful change at scale.

You will work closely with country teams, senior stakeholders and international partners, ensuring that Lumos’ programmes reflect global best practice while responding to local contexts.

About you

You are a collaborative and experienced professional with deep expertise in childcare reform or child protection programming and a strong commitment to children’s rights.

You will likely bring:

• Significant experience working in child protection, care reform or related international development programmes

• Experience working with governments or large institutional partners

• Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills

• Experience developing training, technical guidance or policy materials

• Ability to work effectively across cultures and global teams

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Willingness to travel internationally when required

Additional languages and experience working across multiple countries are an advantage.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.
The advertised salary range applies to candidates based in the UK. For candidates exceptionally appointed in another Lumos country office (Colombia, Kenya, Moldova or Ukraine), salary will be benchmarked and aligned with local market conditions and Lumos’ country-specific salary framework.

About the Role

The Alliance Coordinator (AC) will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Alliance and work closely with the Alliance Director. The Alliance Coordinator will support across a wide range of tasks that are critical to operational and strategic leadership of the Alliance, including preparing and coordinating senior meetings, preparing communications, report writing and collating lived experience feedback.

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to offer support to stroke survivors and their families; plan and deliver stroke support group sessions and ensure the smooth running of the service.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator’s key responsibilities will include:

• Working with stroke survivors and carers to identify their needs, providing person centred support which enables them to achieve their desired outcomes.
• Delivering an effective service in line with our case management principles ensuring that confidential and accurate records are kept on the CRM database.
• Supporting clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Working collaboratively with other professionals and organisations involved in the care of stroke survivors and carers to ensure the best possible support is provided throughout the stroke pathway.
• Planning and facilitating Stroke support group sessions to increase participants’ understanding of stroke and how to manage/ support their recovery.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

• Experience of providing person centred support.
• Experience of working with people with a disability or long-term health condition, and their carers.
• Experience of using technology and IT systems to support your work and keep timely, accurate records.
• Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
• Experience of working with health and social care professionals in a variety of settings.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality including the delivery of face-to-face support in the form of stroke awareness sessions, home and hospital visits. Some time may also be spent working within a hospital team.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

To support this growth, we are seeking a Courses and Webinar Administrator to play a vital role in the delivery of our education portfolio. Working closely with the Course Development and Delivery team, faculty, and other internal teams, the post-holder will ensure that webinars, courses, and workshops run smoothly and provide a seamless experience for delegates, faculty, and franchise centres. Responsibilities: 

• Provide administrative and operational support for courses, workshops, and webinars, ensuring smooth delivery online and in person.

• Coordinate delegate and faculty communications and manage event materials accurately.

• Maintain accurate records using registration systems, CRM platforms, and other digital tools.

• Act as the first point of contact for delegates, faculty, and partner centres, delivering excellent customer service.

• Support post-event reporting, financial processes, and continuous improvement through feedback analysis.

About you  

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable individual to support the delivery of RCOG’s courses, workshops, and webinar programme, including franchise courses and key online learning events. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work collaboratively across teams and with faculty, franchise centres, and delegates to ensure smooth, high-quality course delivery.

Requirements:

• Experience, or a strong interest, in providing administrative or operational support for courses, webinars, workshops, or events, in-person, virtual, or hybrid.

• Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and proactive approach to delegates, faculty, and colleagues.

• Competence with digital platforms, CRM systems, registration tools, and webinar platforms, with a willingness to learn new systems.

• A customer-focused mindset, delivering high standards of service and anticipating the needs of delegates, faculty, and partner centres.

• Ability to work flexibly, manage unexpected challenges, and contribute positively to a busy, dynamic team environment.

We are currently offering a rewarding opportunity within our Carer Assessment Service, who are responsible for carrying out Statutory and Preventative Carer Assessments across West Sussex, and specifically to visit carers living in the Mid Sussex area.

As a Carer Wellbeing Assessor, you will use your knowledge and/or experience of assessments, your working knowledge and/or lived experience of health and social care, and your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to to carry out Carer Assessments under the Care Act 2014. You will provide access to the most appropriate and proportionate support to meet the identified need(s).
This is a home-based role with occasional travel across West Sussex for meetings and home visits.
While work is countywide, a base in the Mid Sussex area is preferred, as much of the work and any occasional home visits will be concentrated in this part of the county.

Key Responsibilities

•  Provide statutory and preventative assessments via face-to-face, online, and telephone channels for adults caring for a relative or friend who cannot manage without their help.
•  Accurately record all interventions on CSWS Client Record Management System and WSCC MOSAIC, ensuring decisions are evidenced and actions documented for timely reporting.
•  Use outcome-based tools to support carers in creating personal plans and demonstrate impact through Carer Star reviews, surveys, case studies, and feedback.
•  Work collaboratively with Health, Social Care, and Voluntary Sector partners, and liaise closely with Adult Social Care colleagues to promote the Carer Assessment Service.
•  Champion the principles of Think Carer across networks, proactively identifying carers through outreach, community engagement, and partnership working.
