About the role

We’re seeking a senior media and PR manager (fundraising and brand) to join our talented and ambitious media and PR team at an exciting time of growth for the charity.

As part of our 2025-2030 organisational strategy, we have ambitious plans to increase awareness, understanding, trust and engagement, to support the impact we can have for people affected by breast cancer and this role will play a key part in helping realise these ambitions.

You’ll lead all media and PR activity around Breast Cancer Now’s fundraising and brand marketing, developing and leading delivery of bold and ambitious annual media strategies for these areas that support the charity to supercharge progress for anyone affected by breast cancer. You’ll ensure all plans are tightly aligned to the charity’s strategic ambitions and integrated across owned, earned, shared and paid channels for consistency and greatest impact.

You’ll build media profile that positions Breast Cancer Now as determined leaders and as the ‘charity partner of choice’, raising awareness, engagement and support among actual and potential supporters across our fundraising activity, from our wide range of fundraising challenge events and flagship campaigns, to driving excellent results for corporate partnerships around shared values and targets in a way that makes us an aspirational charity to partner with.

Leading media and PR for our brand marketing activity, you’ll work closely with the brand marketing team and have a unique opportunity to work closely with our world/industry leading brand marketing agency to provide counsel and support the shaping of creative media and PR activity that best amplifies the charity’s brand across the year. Key to this role is ensuring relevant internal stakeholders are brought in where appropriate.

You’ll also play a key part in supporting the day-to-day leadership of the wider media and PR team.

About you

Excellent at building and nurturing impactful relationships both internally and externally at all levels, you’ll be an effective negotiator with the ability to balance complex and sensitive needs across stakeholders (including corporate partners, agencies, fundraisers, and journalists) to secure media profile that cuts through and resonates with key audiences. You’ll also be a sensitive in your interactions with people affected by breast cancer who support our work.

Drawing on strong experience of working in health communications, and media/PR relations environments, you’ll digest and translate complex health information and create compelling copy at pace for media. With an instinctive news sense you’ll identify and be quick to seize proactive and reactive opportunities to secure impactful media profile. 

A creative thinker, you’ll bring fresh ideas and bold thinking to help elevate the charity’s brand, cutting through the media noise with smart, stand-out storytelling. You’ll be agile in feeding into and delivering campaign ideas that make an impact.

A natural planner with a strategic mindset, you’ll work closely with colleagues to forward plan and consider the bigger picture while ensuring tight alignment and consistency across all communications output. Your ability to prioritise multiple and complex projects and handle conflicting demands and tight deadlines will also be key to the success of your team.

The salary range is: £47,000 and £52,000 per annum

Do you believe communities are central to preventing violence and creating safer neighbourhoods? Salford CVS is looking for a Development Worker (Violence Reduction) to support a community-led programme in Little Hulton, working alongside young people, residents and local organisations to identify priorities, shape solutions and drive positive change. 

You'll build relationships, facilitate community engagement and co-design activities, amplify youth and community voices, and help local partners deliver initiatives that address the root causes of violence. Main purposes of the post

To support the delivery of the community-led violence reduction programme in Salford, working with young people, communities and VCSE partners in Little Hulton. 

The Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit worked with 10GM, other VCSE providers and local communities to co-design our approach to a community-led violence reduction programme. The programme is one of the Violence Reduction Unit’s flagship projects across Greater Manchester and is in line with the ambitions of the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Strategy and Public Service Reform programme to involve communities to identify priorities, problem solve and direct investment and interventions accordingly. In Salford, the programme will be delivered within Little Hulton.

Hours: Part-time, 18.75 hours per week.

Days: To be confirmed (core hours are worked between 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday).

Contract: 1-year fixed-term contract, subject to the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.

Working alongside the Service Manager, you will help turn our accommodation into places where young people aged 16 and over - including care leavers and young people facing multiple disadvantage - can build trust, discover their strengths and take meaningful steps towards adulthood and independence.

About the role

Reporting in to the Head of Policy and Influencing, the UK Influencing Lead provides strategic leadership and oversight of all the UK advocacy work and the advocacy unit, aligning with organisational values and goals, to ensure advocacy achieves maximum impact.

The postholder will represent Christian Aid in UK advocacy spaces and UK coalitions and acts as a media spokesperson. The role will lead the development of the UK Influencing Strategy, bringing together our work with the UK Government, Faith Leaders, Private Sector, Campaigns, etc, including through coalition networks.

The role will collaborate with the Campaigns & Youth Lead, to matrix manage the Campaigns Advisor, to foster a team mindset and ensure coherent and joined up approach to influencing and campaigns and church engagement output.

• Leads on and is accountable for Christian Aid’s influencing and engagement strategy development, ensuring that it is aligned with our mobilisation and movement building work, that it maximises the involvement of churches, the INGO sector, and is effective at engaging decision to drive meaningful change.
• Leads, internally and externally, in shaping and securing our influence towards the government and decision makers, leads external engagement for impact with senior government ministers, MPs, civil servants, private sector partners, faith leaders, and INGO convened spaces to drive meaningful change.
• Leads on the processes to develop and deliver influencing strategies and activities, fostering a team mindset and a mindset of connection across the organisation to ensure an integrated approach to influencing policy and political change in the UK.

The opportunity:

This is a senior role with responsibility for the strategic direction, quality and impact of We Belong’s youth development portfolio. The Context:

Following the landmark Supreme Court judgment in the Tigere case, which helped secure fairer access to higher education for young migrants, We Belong has continued working to ensure that young people can progress into higher education. This has included successful campaigning to increase scholarship opportunities and building strong relationships with educational institutions across the UK.

However, more work is needed. Young migrants can experience significant barriers to educational attainment, further and higher education, employment and personal development because of their immigration status.

These barriers can arise long before a young person reaches the point of applying to university, beginning an apprenticeship or entering employment. We recognise that university is not the only pathway to success and that young people should be supported to explore a range of routes that reflect their ambitions, strengths and circumstances.

Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure that young migrants understand their rights, receive accurate information and appropriate support, and are able to make informed decisions about their education, training, employment and future.

As a Senior Campaigns Adviser, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering national campaigns that make a real difference for people affected by motor neurone disease (MND). Working in a fast-paced environment, you will identify opportunities to influence policy, legislation and public debate, while ensuring our MND community is meaningfully involved in developing campaigns, and creating engaging content that motivates supporters to take action bringing your experience from the third sector.

At the Motor Neurone Disease Association, our work is driven by the urgent need to improve the lives of people affected by MND. As a Senior Campaigns Adviser, you will join a collaborative team committed to creating positive change through evidence-led campaigning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver evidence-based national campaigns with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
• Identify and act on campaigning opportunities in collaboration with Campaigns, Policy and Public Affairs colleagues, responding quickly to changing political priorities and public debate

We are seeking an experienced, qualified finance professional to join our Senior Leadership Team as Finance Director . This is a strategic role that combines financial leadership with oversight of IT, systems, data infrastructure and organisational resilience. 

Working closely with the CEO, Head of Business Development and Finance Manager, you will help ensure Advonet remains financially sustainable, well-managed and prepared for the future. Alongside responsibility for financial planning, governance, risk management, audit and Board reporting, you will lead work to strengthen our digital infrastructure, cyber resilience, data protection arrangements and organisational systems.

Purpose

The Project Manager & Systems Implementation Lead will lead a programme of organisational and systemic change across DATUS, supporting the organisation to move from largely paper-based, informal and inconsistent working practices towards a more structured, reliable and digitally enabled system of operations.

The postholder will work with the CEO, senior managers and the Organisation and Governance Consultant to implement agreed organisational systems, processes and priorities across DATUS. This will include supporting the practical development and day-to-day use of systems such as SharePoint, client records, finance processes, reporting tools, action trackers, governance documents and operational workflows.

The role is focused on turning agreed organisational systems into everyday practice. The postholder will support managers and staff to use systems consistently, identify barriers to implementation, ensure agreed actions are followed through, and escalate risks where systems are not being used or delivery is drifting.

This is a senior implementation role. The postholder will have delegated authority to monitor implementation, challenge drift, request updates, support problem-solving and escalate risks. They will need to work with managers constructively and confidently, without relying on formal line-management authority.

The role does not set the strategic direction of services, replace the authority of service managers, or redefine DATUS’s peer-led model of delivery. Responsibility for service delivery remains with service managers and programme leads. The purpose of this role is to strengthen organisational reliability so that DATUS can grow, evidence its work, meet funder and governance requirements, and protect the integrity of its peer-led approach.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Implementation

• Coordinate the design, testing, implementation, embedding and ongoing improvement of agreed organisational systems, operational frameworks and processes across DATUS.
• Work with the CEO, Organisation and Governance Consultant, senior managers and relevant staff to ensure new systems are practical, usable and aligned with organisational priorities.
• Support the implementation of key systems, including client records, finance processes, SharePoint, reporting tools, action trackers, governance documents and other operational workflows.
• Ensure new systems and applications are properly documented, maintained and managed once implemented.
• Develop practical guidance, templates, processes and tools to support consistent use across the organisation.
• Identify practical barriers to implementation and work with teams to resolve them.

Embedding & Adoption

• Work with Heads of Service, managers and staff to embed agreed systems into everyday practice.
• Ensure staff are trained, supported and confident in using organisational systems.
• Reinforce consistent ways of working across programmes and teams, while recognising the different practical needs of each service.
• Gather feedback from staff and managers to identify what is working, what is not working, and what needs to be improved.
• Support a culture where systems are used to strengthen delivery, accountability and learning, not simply to create paperwork.

Delivery Assurance

• Maintain oversight of agreed organisational priorities, implementation plans, actions and milestones.
• Track progress against agreed deliverables and ensure actions are completed, followed up or escalated where necessary.
• Hold short, structured check-ins with managers and staff responsible for delivery to confirm priorities, review progress, identify barriers and agree next steps.
• Challenge drift constructively where agreed systems are not being used or actions are not progressing.
• Maintain clear action logs, risk logs and implementation trackers so that commitments are visible and followed through.

Organisational Coordination

• Maintain visibility of operational activity across DATUS and support clear communication between leadership and operational teams.
• Help managers and teams understand how their work connects to wider organisational priorities, funder requirements and governance expectations.
• Support coordination across programmes so that systems, reporting and operational processes are aligned rather than fragmented.

Reporting & Escalation

• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on implementation progress, risks, barriers, adoption issues and system effectiveness.
• Escalate issues where delivery is not on track, where risks are not being managed, or where agreed systems are not being used.
• Support clear evidence of progress for internal governance, funders, commissioners and organisational learning.

Performance & Systems Integration

• Work closely with the Performance & Finance Lead to align finance systems, client data systems, KPI reporting and organisational dashboards.
• Ensure systems support accurate, timely and useful data capture, including outcome tracking, pathway reporting and recovery intelligence.
• Support the development of dashboards, reports and practical management information that helps DATUS understand performance and improve delivery.

Policies, Procedures & Governance

• Support the development, implementation and review of organisational policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Translate policies into practical processes that staff can understand and use.
• Monitor compliance with agreed processes, identify gaps and support managers to address them.

Qualifications and Training

Essential

• Relevant management, operations, systems implementation, project management or change management qualification, or significant equivalent experience.
• Evidence of using structured project management approaches in practice, including planning, risk management, action tracking, implementation monitoring and review.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint or equivalent document management / collaboration systems.
