About the role

Our Hartlepool Parent Support project is commissioned by Hartlepool Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and perinatal mental health support throughout the region. Support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters. 

We are seeking a capable Perinatal Mental Health Project Leader who is passionate about supporting parents to lead on this project.  This role is home-based but will include travel across the Hartlepool region (expenses will be reimbursed).

•Leading on perinatal peer support across the Town.
•Managing the volunteers
•Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hartlepool area and ensuring all services are accessible and inclusive. 
•Engaging with communities through networking with other local organisations.
•The Confidence to network with and occasionally present to local clinical and partner agencies across maternity and mental health sectors to integrate the services into local pathways and build relationships with the profile of the service.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our commissioners, staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.

It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an Parents in Mind Peer Supporter. This requires lived experience. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. 
The role is 25 hours per week which will be predominantly Monday to Friday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a home-based role, however travel across Hartlepool will be required.

Citizens Cymru Wales has developed an innovative approach to reducing youth violence with community organising at its heart, working across four unique assumptions:  

• ‘It takes a village to raise a child’  

• ‘Anger without power leads to rage’  

• ‘Recognising the need to address Adverse Community Experiences’  

• ‘If you are not at the table, you’re on the menu’  

In 2021 it developed a community led action plan to address youth violence in the neighbourhoods of Butetown and Grangetown. This work then secured £1m funding from the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) to demonstrate how community organising can improve the lives of children and young people. Across Grangetown and Butetown, almost 2500 people were listened to, and issues workshops took place from which seven interventions were identified including Mental health, Additional Learning Needs and Literacy, an Employment partnership, Sports and diversionary activities and local microgrants. Each intervention is led by a local community-based organisation. At the heart of the work is building a hyperlocal community organising alliance.  Underpinning the work is the development of a Youth Action Zone, a youth-led multi-agency partnership to support young people in the neighbourhood for the long term. The project is in its final year of delivery and needs a locally based project manager to support the current organisations to fulfil the action plan and build a long-term legacy.

Main Responsibilities 

This is a unique role, focused on project management but embedding community organising. As project organiser for Butetown and Grangetown Neighbourhood Fund you will support the project aims, enabling core partners and intervention leads to fulfil the action plan and build a legacy for the long term. Alongside this, you will develop a craft of community organising, working closely with civic organisations based in the neighbourhoods, understanding local power and building partnerships with wider stakeholders, and developing local institutions and youth leaders. All of this should ladder up to building the power of the broader Cardiff Citizens alliance. 

You will embed the ethos of community organising across the project and its legacy by: 

• developing the leadership of people within local organisations - our 'leaders' who lead the campaigns we work on 

• helping them to collectively identify the changes they want to see and create strategies to win those changes 

• strengthen institutions’ own abilities to achieve their missions. 

• Support leaders in connecting the hyperlocal work to the Cardiff Citizens alliance – developing their capacity to work with other leaders and civic institutions across the city to develop collective ambitions and actions (leading up to the 2027 Local Authority elections). 

We envisage the role to be roughly 2 days project management and 1 day Community Organising, but given the nature of the project, these will naturally bleed into one another. 

Working as the Project Organiser for Citizens UK, your main responsibilities will include:

The Suzy Lamplugh Trust was established in memory of Suzy Lamplugh, a young estate agent who tragically disappeared while at work in 1986 and was later declared deceased in 1993. Created to honour Suzy’s legacy, the Trust aims to empower individuals and organisations to take a stand against abuse, aggression, and violence in all forms, supporting safety in both personal and professional lives.

Role overview: 

This is a new and developing service focused on increasing accessibility to stalking support for underrepresented and marginalised communities across London.  The postholder will play a key role in designing, embedding, and delivering this community-based model, working closely with community groups, partners, and volunteers whilst holding a small caseload leading to building trusted pathways into service for communities that may face barriers to accessing traditional support. 

The role will oversee two key initiatives: 

1. Community First Responders:  Trained volunteers with lived and/or professional experience (including LGBTQ+ communities, racially minoritised groups, victims with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and those with other accessibility needs) who provide face-to-face stalking support and awareness across London. 

2. Community Champions: Staff/volunteers within third-party organisations within the London ecosystem of service providers who are trained to provide first-responder level support within their own communities. 

The role builds and manages networks of community champions and first responders while holding a reduced advocacy caseload.

Role purpose

The Senior Delivery Manager plays a key role in leading high-quality operational delivery across WorldSkills UK’s workforce development products and services. The Role

The Volunteer Recruitment Officer will lead structured volunteer growth and engagement across REMAP’s national branch network. The role exists to increase the number of active volunteers and strengthen branch capacity, ensuring the organisation can respond effectively to client referrals and deliver bespoke mobility and independence solutions.

Working proactively with Branch Chairs and the operations team, the postholder will focus on targeted recruitment, improved conversion of volunteer applications, and more consistent onboarding practices across the network. The emphasis is on building resilient local teams, supporting succession planning, and improving the distribution of volunteers to branches with identified capacity gaps.

Routine administrative onboarding processes sit within the wider team. This role is focused on delivering measurable growth in active volunteer capacity and engagement.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar position and be comfortable working with a diverse range of volunteers/people. Role Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering the day-to-day operations of the Schools Consent Project across England and Wales. In particular, this involves booking and coordinating the delivery of workshops across all educational settings; acting as the first point of contact for legal queries, feedback and safeguarding issues from volunteers and service users; and fostering strong relationships with our schools and partner firms.

Governance

Hours of work

1. The basic hours of work are 35 hours per week, spread over five working days. There will be a need to work some evenings and weekend days, so flexibility is essential. The core responsibilities and duties should be carried out during weekdays.

About Us

Beginning Again is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation set up to promote the resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders and ex-offenders in order to reduce rates of re-offending and to contribute to the creation of safer communities.

It seeks to achieve its objectives primarily by providing mentoring, advice, and opportunities for gaining work experience in an outdoor setting as part of a team.

Role Purpose

This is a new, permanent role in Cumbria to implement the charity’s rehabilitation and resettlement plans to help reduce re-offending. The work we are undertaking, primarily horticultural, is currently focussed in the North West of the county but we wish to expand to other areas. Action for Conservation is a UK grassroots charity using innovative approaches to inspire and empower young people from diverse backgrounds, between the ages of 12 and 24, to become the next generation of environmental leaders. In 2019, we launched our flagship Penpont Project on a 2,000-acre estate in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Wales. The Penpont Project is the largest intergenerational nature restoration project of its kind in the world, aiming to demonstrate how youth leadership and ambition can advance nature’s recovery at a time of acute ecological crisis.

We are currently looking for a Community Tree Nursery Coordinator to join the Penpont Project and run our Community Tree Nursery, growing trees from native tree species, including trees of conservation and heritage value, through collaborative learning and community-building activities. The focus of the role is as much on intergenerational learning and community engagement as it is on the processes of tree rearing and producing trees for planting out across the landscape. Ymhlith manteision gweithio yn Gweithredu dros Gadwraeth mae:

• 9 diwrnod gwaith bob pythefnos, gyda phob yn ail ddydd Gwener i ffwrdd, neu swm cymesur o amser i ffwrdd i staff rhan-amser
• 25 diwrnod o wyliau blynyddol ynghyd â gwyliau cyhoeddus, yn ogystal ag un diwrnod ychwanegol am bob blwyddyn a wasanaethir hyd at uchafswm o 30 diwrnod
• Hyd at 5 diwrnod o absenoldeb ar gyfer datblygiad proffesiynol a hyd at 2 ddiwrnod â thâl i wirfoddoli bob blwyddyn
• Pensiwn gweithle gyda chyfraniadau cyflogwr o 4%
• Mynediad at weithio hyblyg i'ch helpu i gynnal cydbwysedd iach rhwng bywyd a gwaith
• Diwrnodau i ffwrdd rheolaidd yn yr awyr agored gyda’r tîm a’r sefydliad 
• Pecyn hyfforddi cadarn a chynllun datblygu pwrpasol, wedi'u cyd-ddatblygu gyda'ch rheolwr llinell, i gefnogi eich cynnydd a'ch amcanion gyrfa

Ein hymrwymiad i amrywiaeth

Mae amrywiaeth yn un o'n gwerthoedd craidd fel sefydliad ac rydyn ni wedi ymrwymo i greu amgylchedd gwaith cynhwysol lle mae amrywiaeth yn cael ei gwerthfawrogi a lle mae cyfle cyfartal. Rydyn ni hefyd yn cydnabod bod yr argyfwng hinsawdd ac ecolegol yn effeithio'n anghymesur ar gymunedau lleiafrifol a/neu sydd wedi’u hymyleiddio – ond mae'r lleisiau hyn wedi'u tangynrychioli'n sylweddol yn y sector.

Ar hyn o bryd, y sector amgylcheddol yw'r sector lleiaf amrywiol ond un yn y Deyrnas Unedig, gyda dim ond 4.8% o weithwyr o gefndiroedd ethnig leiafrifol. Os yw'r mudiad amgylcheddol am lwyddo i greu dyfodol mwy gwyrdd sy'n cefnogi’r gymdeithas gyfan, mae angen lleisiau amrywiol wrth wraidd ein rhaglenni. Rydyn ni felly’n annog pobl o ddemograffeg sydd heb gynrychiolaeth ddigonol ar hyn o bryd yn y mudiad amgylcheddol i ymgeisio.

Cynlluniau Cyfweliad Gwarantedig

Rydyn ni’n annog ceisiadau yn arbennig gan bobl o gefndiroedd ethnig leiafrifol neu sy'n byw ag anabledd neu gyflyrau iechyd hirdymor. Byddwn yn cynnig cyfweliad i unrhyw ymgeiswyr o gefndiroedd ethnig leiafrifol neu sy'n byw gydag anabledd sy'n dewis ymuno â'n Cynllun Cyfweliad Gwarantedig wrth wneud cais ac sy'n bodloni'r meini prawf hanfodol ar gyfer y swydd hon.

Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer gwneud cais yw nos Sul 22 Mawrth 2026 am hanner nos.
