About the role:

As a Team Leader you will play a vital role in supporting a team of CYP Practitioners in providing high quality, end-to-end support to all children and young people who have experienced domestic and/or sexual abuse across Cumbria. You will support and guide your team to achieve key performance indicators, provide appropriate information and support, complete regular 1-1 performance reviews and annual appraisals.

You will need:

• good understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on child victim/survivors
• experience leading a team
• to be able to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning
• demonstrable experience of working in a similar setting or position
• strong communication skills and be able to present and educate service users and agency partners
• the ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload
• An enhanced criminal record check is required for this role

We are now recruiting IPS Employment Advisors to join our IPS service to join our Kingston & Sutton team. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, following the principles of the IPS model to support people into paid employment. 

What you’ll be doing 

If you were working with us, your days would be varied and people-centred. You would manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs, people experiencing homelessness, and people with offending histories, offering one-to-one support to help them secure and sustain employment that matches their preferences. 

You would provide person-centred guidance using the IPS approach (training is provided), helping clients build confidence, prepare for work, and navigate challenges that may arise. A key part of the role involves engaging employers, promoting the value of our service, and identifying suitable job opportunities.

You would work closely with NHS clinical teams, contributing to an integrated approach to recovery through employment. This includes attending team meetings, coordinating support, and maintaining clear, client-led communication. Pattern Church was launched in December 2018 by the Diocese of Bristol as a Revitalisation Trust Resource Church with a vision of inviting people into family to serve Swindon. Since then, the church has grown rapidly, planted two new churches (The Well and The Light Church), and become a hub of mission and community life across the town.

The Director of Operations is part of the leadership of the church, providing the organisational, financial, and strategic backbone that enables mission and ministry to flourish. A well-established charitable organisation with an international footprint is seeking a Financial Accountant to play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, accurate reporting and robust compliance across the organisation. About the Role

Reporting into the senior finance leadership, you will take responsibility for core financial accounting activities, including month-end close, balance sheet integrity, statutory reporting and compliance. You will ensure that financial records are accurate, well-controlled and aligned with accounting standards and organisational policies.

Working closely with colleagues across finance and the wider organisation, including teams based internationally, you will support reliable financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Key Priorities in the First Six Months

• Deliver accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial close
• Maintain balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations and review of key control accounts
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and funder requirements
• Oversee accounting for restricted and unrestricted funds
• Support multi-currency accounting and intercompany transactions where required
• Contribute to improvements in financial controls, processes and documentation

About You

You will be a qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant with strong financial accounting experience, ideally gained within a charitable, not-for-profit, or grant-funded organisation.

You will bring:

• Solid experience of month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
• Knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and audit processes
• Understanding of restricted funds and fund accounting (desirable)
• Experience working in multi-currency and/or multi-entity environments
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Resettlement & Activities Coordinator to join our brand new service which is due to go live April 2026! This is an 11 bed, community based mental health service, offering short stay, trauma informed support. You will support our residents who are at risk of admission but can be supported outside of mental health hospital settings, by providing tailored support to them to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals, to live more fulfilled lives and independent living. You will play a major part in ensuring a safe, stable and secure accommodation setting which provides the right support to resident needs. 

You will lead on delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual need, whilst providing practical support to residents who require help with finding and sustaining suitable accommodation and engaging with community based services such as councils, training providers, and local authorities. The purpose of the role is to create a sense of belonging and independence through activities and support planning. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work in a supportive team environment. 

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and coordinating individual and group activities and sessions such as days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful events.
• Delivering programmes that support residents’ goals, personal development, and reintegration.
• Developing and managing calendars of activities, events, and awareness campaigns to promote social skills, community engagement, and meaningful participation.
• Collecting information about activities and resident feedback and using this for continuous improvement.
• Running clinics, projects, and sessions, providing guidance, life skills support, and advice to residents as needed.
• Building good relationships with partners and stakeholders, identifying new opportunities and creating an accessible partner resource catalogue.
• Identify risks, safeguarding residents and take appropriate action. Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative tasks.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a passion to support vulnerable people in making a change, supporting their rehabilitation and engaging activities, providing opportunities for them to make positive change to their lives. You will have a general understanding of mental health needs of people form different backgrounds. You will be a self motivated individual who is able to be proactive in managing your own time during busy or quiet periods to ensure productivity. You will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and will have alignment with our SIG values. You will be keen to support our residents to achieve their individual goals and support them to be the best versions of themselves. 

We are looking for:

• Experience in coordinating and/or delivering activities and programmes with people from various backgrounds
• Ability to provide advice, support and guidance to a team and residents on various areas, particularly around resettlements
• Ability to work creatively and encourage creativity in others
• Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
• Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents
• Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders
