About the role
We are looking for a Trusts Manager to join our High Value Relationships team and help secure transformational funding for our work with disabled people with complex needs. This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days in our London office.
Working closely with the Head of High Value Relationships and colleagues across Sense, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our high value fundraising strategy. You will manage a varied portfolio of trust and foundation funders, from early-stage research through to proposal submission, stewardship and reporting.

Variety is looking for an experienced Facilities and Office Manager who is proactive and highly organised to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of Variety’s offices in Camden. This role blends operations, facilities management, and people-first thinking, ensuring the workspace is safe, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone. Variety House is owned by the charity and has three floors which house our busy charity team and one floor is occupied by a tenant. The role requires management of the building, office management, tenants and includes assisting the CEO as required.

Our Maintenance Team is a vital part of the Asset Management function, working across multiple properties to ensure residents have safe, secure, and good‑quality homes. The team works closely with service staff to identify and complete repairs, carry out ad hoc cleaning and decoration, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and prepare empty properties for new residents.
We operate across Brighton, Guildford, East Sussex, and West Sussex, with our services centred around Foyers in Hove, Eastbourne, Hastings, Guildford, Horsham, Worthing, and Crawley. These sites provide 24‑hour supported housing for young people aged 16–25.
In addition, we manage a number of larger shared houses (typically accommodating 4–8 residents) through our Transitional Housing teams, supporting young people as they move towards independence.
This is an important central role, responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of repairs, servicing, and routine maintenance across our property portfolio of approximately 600 bed units, alongside a number of service and office properties, to provide a positive experience for both residents and staff.
You will be accountable for raising and managing repair requests and void works, coordinating a skilled in‑house repairs team and external contractors, maintaining accurate records, producing performance data, and delivering high‑quality administrative and operational support. The role also plays a key part in supporting compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

We’re currently recruiting a part-time (28 hours per week) Counselling Service Manager to manage the Charity’s Merton counselling service and work with colleagues across our services in Croydon, Merton and Sutton. Working as a member of the Individual Giving team within the Income Generation and Marketing Directorate the post holder is responsible for working with the Individual Giving Manager to implement the individual giving strategy to grow income within this area.
This role leads on individual giving campaigns, appeals and in memory events, enabling families and loved ones to honour and celebrate those cared for by the hospice. The postholder will build long-term relationships with donors, ensuring all interactions reflect the hospice’s values.

Established in 1989, the hospice has built a reputation for delivering high-level care to patients and the community it serves. Through medicine and therapy, they ease pain; give life purpose and make life liveable. Last year the charity supported over 4,000 patients and their families.
The hospice’s work is centred on the individual's needs and they provide specialist support wherever it is needed; whether that is in the home, another setting in the community, in hospital or in the hospice itself. Support is provided to patients and their families via the Inpatient Unit, the Community Care Unit including outpatient’s clinics, home visits from the community nursing, medical or therapy team, the OneCall 24/7 telephone helpline and bereavement support.
In 2023, St Elizabeth Hospice merged with East Coast Hospice to form a collaborative approach to developing achievable and sustainable specialist palliative care services for people living the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area.
We have to generate over 70% of our funding ourselves and our Income generation team are key in helping us achieve this.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/Counselling Psychological Lead to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary adult team at our London Centre.
You will manage and coordinate a team of highly skilled and dedicated clinicians, in the service delivery of a range of NICE guideline recommended therapy interventions, offered to our clients, who are survivors of torture and organised violence. You will report to the Head of Clinical Services, London and operate as an integral part of the London Clinical Services Team. About the role
This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:
· To manage a multi-disciplinary team, including paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists.
· This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision, support and advice as well as line management and guidance around risk and safeguarding to clinicians across our other centres as required.
· To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.
· Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit-based services.
· To formulate psychological treatment and management plans for survivors of torture and to provide psychological treatment for a small caseload, using a range of psychological interventions in line with our clinical pathway that draws on a range of evidence based models for the treatment of survivors of torture.
· Being an effective role model and leader to encourage, develop and enhance skills of others.
About you
This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.
To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.
We also offer access to additional therapy training including NET and EMDR, as well as access to high quality clinical supervision and an opportunity to hold a small case load alongside your management practice
You will also have the opportunity to closely with the Head of Clinical Services and to attend a range of forums and working groups to support the clinical development of Freedom from Torture.
