About the role
Your role will be essential to the day-to-day management of the Hub and in particular, the delivery of front-line services, contracts and projects. We will rely on you to lead and support the staff and volunteer team that delivers specialist advocacy, empowerment, advice and systems change within the local community. You will support the Hub’s Strategic Lead and management team to deliver our strategy locally, plan and supervise casework, monitor the effectiveness of our services as well as promoting them. You will ensure we provide an excellent quality service that meets the needs of those who need our help and that everyone has access to a safe and affordable home.
About you
You will need experience of staff and service management, including casework support, risk management, supervision and safeguarding. A good understanding of housing law is essential, along with demonstrable experience of working in the advice and/or support sectors and working with external agencies. You must also be proficient in the use of a range of IT tools including case management systems and Microsoft applications.

Shelter North East has been based in Newcastle, covering advice across 12 Local Authorities, for over 25 years and is made up of teams delivering housing advice and support, administration, legal casework and DIY Skills. We also have colleagues covering Community Fundraising and Organising, Client Involvement and Business Development.
One of our main focuses is systemic change, which we achieve through offering direct advice to clients, as well as training to partners and volunteers to build capacity across the housing sector. We aim to positively influence procedural and policy changes that will improve the experience and outcomes for all those with housing needs in the North East.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Income and Engagement, you will drive sustainable income growth through regular giving, appeals and lottery programmes generating £6–£7 million annually. You will lead multi‑channel campaigns, oversee supporter care, insight and marketing, and develop high‑performing teams to strengthen supporter relationships and enhance the LNAA brand. This permanent, full‑time role is based at our HQ and Airbase in Lincolnshire and plays a vital role in supporting our life‑saving service.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in a senior management role, in-depth knowledge of running regular giving, lottery and appeals fundraising programmes, significant experience in running multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive income growth, understanding of CRM Systems and experience of building supporter or customer journeys informed by data and insight.
This role is based at our Headquarters in Lincoln, with the option of hybrid working after a probationary period, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

What you will do:
Help us make and manage investments through research and analysis, including:
Undertaking research and detailed analysis to help us understand social issues and market gaps where social impact investment can help support a solution, within our market systems (social property, social lending, impact venture and social outcomes); synthesize and present these; and monitor relevant market data and update the team on relevant developments in the market systems, for example related to the issues, asset classes and policy areas.
Undertaking supplementary analysis of performance, benchmarks and other research that helps enhance our understanding of performance of the portfolio.
Support prospective investments through our investment process across our market systems, including:
Undertaking detailed investment analysis, including of the market, the prospective investee, and the financial, social impact and systems change cases;
Assisting in preparing and presenting investment recommendations to our Investment Committee;
Project management such as ensuring the consistent application of our investment process and the tracking of new investment opportunities in the pipeline; and,
Helping deal leads and legal team negotiate legal documents and close transactions.
This will likely involve specialising in one market system for a period of time.
Support management of our existing portfolio investments, including:
Supporting and co-ordinating fund manager reporting of that helps BSC to assess the contribution of the investments to our systems change, impact and financial goals across our portfolio and in the relevant market system
Undertaking data gathering, aggregation and detailed analysis to evaluate impact and financial performance across portfolios of investments in our market systems, including working with fund managers on individual investments
Systems change agent
Supporting delivery of key strategic projects in BSC’s market systems, including through project management
Supporting our engagement work with investors and with charities and social enterprises to deliver on our market system goals, for example helping to co-ordinate networks and events in partnership with Investment Networks and Engagement teams .

For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035.
Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission.
To ensure that Scotty’s understands and demonstrates the impact of its work — through high-quality research, meaningful measurement, and clear reporting. You will lead the development of internal and external research projects, manage beneficiary insight gathering, and oversee the systems and frameworks we use to evaluate and share our effectiveness.
This role is central to helping us improve what we do and explain why it matters and ensuring that lived experience remains at the heart of everything we do.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Impact Measurement
Develop and maintain frameworks to measure the outcomes of all services and programmes.
Ensure Success Measures (KPIs) and qualitative feedback tools are aligned to our Theory of Change.
Work with the Families (service delivery) team to embed consistent and meaningful data collection across all services.
Design simple, automated reporting processes to reduce manual admin and improve data use, making effective use of Scotty’s CRM.
Research & Insight
Lead internal research projects using beneficiary data, surveys, and feedback loops.
Scope and manage external research partnerships with academic institutions or sector bodies.
Design and deliver surveys to beneficiaries and the wider bereaved military community

The Role
As Head of Scaling (maternity cover), you’ll lead delivery of our plans to scale impact, including the growth of the Our Future model nationally, supporting towns to adopt via diverse scaling delivery models, and the delivery of tools and products to support this work.
You’ll support the infrastructure, partnerships and programmes that help towns take control of their future. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategy and delivery. You’ll work alongside others to turn ambition into action and build something that lasts.
This role begins with a handover period working alongside the current Head of Scaling, with a focus on getting up to speed with Our Future's newly developed scaling strategy and preparing for its delivery. From May 2026, the organisation will be transitioning from strategy development into active delivery- and this will be the primary focus of the cover period. The incoming Head of Scaling will play a central role in driving that transition forward, turning plans into action across all areas of the scaling programme.

The Opportunity
Engagement is becoming central to how school leaders think about improvement. The 2026 White Paper reframed it as a lead indicator of school improvement. Ofsted's new framework gives it weight. MAT CEOs and headteachers increasingly want termly data they can act on, and TEP is built to provide exactly that.
We have a strong foundation in the North of England, as a region with some of our founding partners, including Outwood Grange Academies Trust, The Education Alliance, BDAT and Pathfinder were among our Research in the Commission for Engagement and a Lead Indicator and we are proud to still have in our community. However, there is still substantial appetite across the North for TEP to give trust and school leaders precision they can act on. There is a pipeline of interested trusts. And there is real opportunity to shape a regional story (events, flagship partnerships, local authority engagement) that compounds as partnerships grow.
The Regional Director will own that opportunity and lead business development in the region. You'll be building on a proven product and a credible research base, and joining at the point where regional presence matters most. Early work will focus on opening new partnerships at trust level, stewarding a small number of strategic relationships with sector bodies and Teaching School Hubs, and establishing TEP as a trusted voice in the region.
What you'll inherit
A proven platform and service offer. Validated by 600+ UK schools, designed around the rhythms of the school year, supporting school leaders across the country.
Support from our Partnerships Director. Working closely with Jess Easton, Director of Partnerships and Insights, who is actively involved in regional strategy, as well as support from our Regional Director (Agnes Fitzpatrick) who works in the South of England.
Partnerships team support. A Marketing function, a Community team handling delivery, and colleagues across ImpactEd Group opening doors.
Early pipeline to build on. Warm conversations with trusts in the region, and a growing profile in the sector to build on.
Real commercial ambition. Clear termly targets, a performance-related pay structure, and the opportunity of employee shares through EMI.
A base in Leeds. A vibrant, accessible city-centre office two minutes from Leeds station, in the heart of the tech hub of the north.
The role
You'll lead TEP's growth and business development across the North of England: opening new partnerships with schools and trusts, stewarding strategic relationships with sector bodies, and shaping how TEP shows up in the region. You'll have real autonomy, backed by a Director who's hands-on with strategy, a growing marketing function, and the research weight of ImpactEd Group behind you.
There are three main areas of responsibility:
Winning new partnerships: Lead new business across the North of England, opening conversations with schools and trusts, converting them into partnerships, and delivering against termly targets.
Growing strategic partnerships: Steward the region's highest-value partnerships (typically Teaching School Hubs, sector bodies, or place-based local authority partnerships), leading the relationship and evidencing TEP's impact.
Contributing to TEP more broadly: Feed regional intelligence into TEP's business planning: where the growth is, where the risks are, and help embed scalable ways of working.
About you
We are open to a range of backgrounds, though it is likely the successful candidate will have significant experience working in or closely with schools and education, and experience in selling products or developing partnerships with school leaders. This role offers hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the office or on the road. You should be willing to travel across the North of England for partner meetings, conferences and events (approximately 50% of your time), with occasional UK-wide travel.

What you will be doing
