We have an exciting opportunity for experienced and skilled caseworkers to join the staff of a unique social enterprise. The core function of this role is to provide comprehensive casework, advice and advocacy which assists and supports clients throughout the NHS continuing healthcare assessment, appeal and care planning process. With a long history in delivering skilled casework and training in NHS continuing healthcare, we want you to be part of a strong team committed to delivering excellence and achieving success in line with our commercial and social objectives.

You will be an excellent communicator and skilled caseworker with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the field of NHS continuing healthcare or a similar role with a transferrable skills. A health, social care, advocacy or legal qualification is desirable but not essential. Proven experience of the ability to understand, digest and disseminate complex information, and to prepare well-reasoned reports is essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders in challenging circumstances. You will be able to establish a good rapport with clients in a professional and caring manner, upholding brand values.

This role is primarily home-based with opportunities nationally. Ability to periodially travel long distances to attend client meetings across England from time to time is essential.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. To provide an independent and comprehensive casework, advisory and advocacy service to private and NHS-referred clients (typically health and social care service users or their representatives) in England and Wales throughout the entire NHS Continuing Healthcare assessment, appeal and care planning process from initial assessment stage through to complaints to the Ombudsman.
2. To provide specialist information and advice to our clients tailored to their specific situation and needs regarding the interpretation of a primary health need from a thorough understanding of relevant criteria, assessment frameworks and legal tests which are based upon case-law. 
3. Provide advocacy and active case support remotely and in person to clients in England and Wales, and their representatives throughout the appeal and complaint processes, and occassionally assessments. This will include periodic travel to assessments and appeal meetings across England and Wales (including overnight stays where necessary), as well as attending virtual meetings via videoconference.Please note: most meetings are now completed virtually via videoconference, however a small number of in-person meetings are still taking place. Applicants will need to be comfortable working from home for long periods as well as with periodic long-distance travel.
4. To keep informed of issues, policies, guidance and legislation affecting clients ensuring that the information provided is relevant, current, complete and accurate.
5. To analytically examine all relevant health and social care records and assessments, and to prepare detailed advisory letters and appeal statements based upon a sound understanding of the facts, and referencing evidence compiled from such records.
6. To assist clients in the preparation of submissions which will be presented on their behalf to relevant Integrated Care Boards and NHS England review and/or appeal panels.
7. To respond to new referrals by making prompt initial contact with the client within the timescales specified by company policies. To keep clients informed of progress at regular intervals.
8. Work closely and efficiently with health professionals from relevant Continuing Healthcare (CHC) teams with the aim of resolving client issues at the earliest possible opportunity so as to provide an efficient and cost-effective service, and to minimise stress for the client.
9. To develop and maintain working relationships with health and social care colleagues within the field of Continuing Healthcare in order to influence best practice.
10. To work with partner organisations and stakeholders to share knowledge, make appropriate referrals, maintain consistency and draw upon each other’s expertise, always striving to improve the quality of both services and provide a better customer experience.
11. To keep relevant and sufficiently detailed case records at each stage and as the case progresses; ensuring that all client information is kept up to date in line with Beacon’s systems and procedures, including data protection (GDPR) policies.  This applies to case files, database entries, authority forms, client correspondence, use of the project management system, filing and archiving.
12. To minimise business costs and maximise income for the company by meeting chargeable time targets, working efficiently, charging clients appropriately and in a timely manner.
13. To uphold the principles of paralegal casework as specified by the Institute of Paralegals, providing a good standard of client care by working with skill and competence thereby ensuring clients are able to place their trust in you.
14. To uphold organisational values, promoting Beacon’s social goals through each area of your work.
15. To manage your own caseload and work independently within the boundaries of Beacon policies and procedures.
16. To undergo a minimum of 12 hours of professional development each year.  To foster an atmosphere of continuous learning and development.
17. Attend line management, supervision and team meetings as appropriate, and to play a full part in the development and success of Beacon.

NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is the name given to a package of care that some people need to receive due to disability, accident or illness. People who are eligible for CHC have the full cost of their care and residential accommodation funded by the NHS. This relieves families of sometimes astronomical care bills.

Fostering Form F Assessing Social Worker

Locations: Candidates must live within Nottinghamshire and Derby.

Pay - £2,250 per Form F Assessment / £37.50 per hour,  plus £250 bonus for ‘panel ready’ assessments, plus £250 bonus for completion within 16 weeks, plus 45p mileage

We are recruiting sessional assessing social workers to undertake Form F assessments .  Our assessments are undertaken face to face. Applicants should be able to travel across Nottinghamshire and Derby for assessment visits to prospective foster carers. 

Key Duties for Form F Assessors include:

• To undertake and complete Form F assessments in the timescale set out in our policy and guidance.
• To visit personal referees as identified on application form for prospective foster carers.
• To ensure that all checks and references are undertaken and completed.
• To provide to the supervisor, regular written updates of the draft assessment.
• To liaise with our administrative team concerning the progress of administrative checks and completion of the Form F.
• To be available for supervision, consultation or liaison as required.
• To be available to present completed Form Fs to the virtual fostering panel and provide support to the applicants through this process.
• To be aware of our child protection procedures and immediately report any child protection matter or concerns to a TACT manager and any relevant placing authority and the area authority.
• To carry out the duties in line with our Foster Carer and Supervising Social Worker Standards and Practice Guidance.

Rates of Pay for Form F Assessors

• We will pay £2250 (inclusive of VAT) + up to £500 bonus payments (if criteria are met) upon submission of a successfully completed Form F Assessment.
• £37.50 per hour for assessments which are not completed, and any other piece of work.

You will be DipSW, CSS or CQSW qualified and registered with the relevant regulatory body (Social Work England).

An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role and will be undertaken  by TACT on your behalf.

The spot salary for the Complaints Resolution Partner post is £15,439 per annum (FTE £30,878  per annum) for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If you’re still developing some of the skills or experience, you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate, with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.

• You'll have extensive complaint handling experience in a regulated environment, dealing with stage 1 and/or stage 2 complaints including the awareness of the regulations set out by an Ombudsman.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic individual to build up Shieldfield Art Work’s fundraising programme and contribute to our strategy. This is a vital part of our work as we seek to become more sustainable and resilient in an ever challenging climate. 

Our ideal candidate will have good experience in developing and implementing a robust fundraising strategy in order to take the strategic fundraising work of our community arts hub into a new chapter. You will also be able to articulate your active Christian faith, be able to explain SAW's Christian ministry and show ability to be able to write for both Christian and secular funders with different priorties.

You will need to be self-motivated and confident in your expertise. TNBI Independent Domestic Violence Advocate

About the role

This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT people who have experienced abuse or violence. Your work will enable TNBI people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.

You will be joining our advocacy and support team, supporting TNBI survivors across the UK. You will work directly with TNBI victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related to experiences of abuse or violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.

You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of TNBI survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. You will also work closely with key partner organisations by attending meetings and have the opportunity to take part in external work to ensure a joined-up approach among services working with LGBT people facing abuse and violence.

About the role

We are looking to hire a Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator within Restless Development’s UK Fundraising team. The fundraising team’s income has grown year on year and there is huge potential to continue to grow this further and create impact at scale.

The Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator will be primarily working on the Schools Triathlon programme and managing all PR & social media comms, and also supporting on both merchandise and sponsor management. The Schools Triathlon is the UK’s largest fundraising and sporting event for children aged 7-13. Its aim is to encourage more children into sport while also teaching them the importance of fundraising. Over the years, the events have raised over £3.4m for Restless Development and local charities and over 9,000 children have taken part. We are aiming to deliver 15 events in 2026 and significantly expand the series.. 

We are looking for an energetic team-player, proactive individual with great interpersonal skills who is happy to learn and get stuck in. 

Key responsibilities

Deliver and event manage high-quality Schools Triathlon events in 2026 and beyond 

• Throughout September to February, present assemblies for the Schools Triathlon to inspire school-age pupils to sign up and take part in the Schools Triathlon series, and motivate them to fundraise by delivering a fun and engaging presentation.
• Develop strong professional relationships with various important stakeholders from host schools throughout the year, in person and online; as well as with participating schools through the delivery of assemblies and in comms prior to the event day. 
• Work with our event delivery partners to deliver 15 events throughout April, May and June 2026, ensuring that the event logistics, host school requirements, participant details are finalised and managing host school relations.
• Respond to enquiries from parents and guardians on our dedicated inbox and mobile phone when needed.
• Develop a good working relationship with the Triathlon Committee, made up of Restless Development staff and volunteers, while still keeping the appropriate members informed and bringing in support as and when needed.
• Update on relevant KPIs and income where needed
• Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with recruitment of regional volunteers when needed

Schools Triathlon social media & PR 

• Lead on all social media activity for the Schools Triathlon across  our social media channels
• Lead on liaising with external PR and Host school stakeholders to deliver exceptional PR across the Schools Triathlon event series
• Lead on being the main contact for all Host School marketing teams, ensuring effective working relationships are in place and maintained to an excellent standard
• Report monthly on KPIs, ensuring effective tracking for social engagement across all channels
• Work closely with the Comms team, to ensure best working practices and collaboration is in place
• Together with the Head of Fundraising, lead on the drafting and development of the Schools Triathlon parent comms
• Manage the partnership with our events photographers

Sponsors

• Together with the Head of Fundraising, develop a sponsors partnership prospect list that aligns with our social values for year 2027 and beyond
• Lead on the project plan for our sponsors with support from the Head of Fundraising
• Set, monitor and report on the progress of KPIs and fundraising as and when needed
• Work with the wider team to plan and deliver an excellent stewardship journey for sponsors ensuring continued engagement 

Systems, Processes & Communications

• Support the wider team with event comms responding in a timely and professional manner.
• Use DotDigital to communicate to  schools and event participants 
• Competent use of Excel to process data and regularly update internal and external databases.
• Manage the Schools Triathlon website, ensuring that it is up to date and relevant.
• Accurate and timely logging of information into Restless Development’s registration system Eventrac and CRM, Salesforce – executing mass imports, new individual records, and regularly cleaning data.
• Understand and manage fundraising using the digital fundraising platform, JustGiving, ensure all pages set up are logged on our CRM.

Other 

• Must attend the Schools Triathlons as needed across April, May and June and other occasional evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.
• Support on wider charity initiatives as and when needed
• Many of the schools we have relationships with are not accessible by public transport, so it is vital you have access to a reliable roadworthy vehicle. All travel will be reimbursed in accordance with Restless Development’s travel policy.
• Manage our Schools Triathlon Leader programme, working with the wider team to recruit and develop the opportunity for graduates/young people
• Undertake any other duties as requested by the Head of Fundraising.

Location: North London/Cambridge (with travel to the office once a week)

Salary: £37,226 per annum (Band O)

Preferred start date: March 2026

Length of contract: 2 years fixed contract

Reports to: Head of Fundraising

Expected travel:
Frequent travel around your county and other areas in the UK for school assemblies and school meetings. Occasional evening and weekend work for Schools Triathlon events in April-June and other stewardship events which time off in lieu will be given. Occasional overseas travel to Restless Development Hubs may be possible if of interest.

Other requirements: Must have a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle. Will be required to complete DBS check.
