The Senior Safeguarding Officer plays a vital role in strengthening safeguarding practice across Place2Be, a leading children’s mental health charity. Working closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Safeguarding, you will help ensure the organisation meets its safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults by enhancing training, embedding robust policies, and improving systems and practice across staff, volunteers, and partner schools.

This hands-on and collaborative role combines operational safeguarding oversight, training delivery, and service development, offering the opportunity to influence organisational practice, support multi-agency working, and contribute to better outcomes for children and young people.

We are looking for someone who has managerial experience and safeguarding experience within an education setting.

This is a part-time role for two days a week (0.4FTE), with flexibility about when the hours are worked. The Data and Insights Manager will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality and impact across our mentoring programmes. The postholder will work closely with the Programmes Team to embed impact in project design and to produce evaluations that assess the impact of mentoring against our theory of change outcomes. The postholder will complete data analysis and evaluation reports for individual mentoring programmes as well as our whole portfolio to present our impact at an aggregate level. The postholder will produce organisation wide impact reports for external publication and work closely with the senior management and leadership teams to demonstrate and celebrate our impact. This is a varied role, suited to candidates interested in using data and insights to improve processes and articulate impact to a wide range of audiences. 

Responsible for

• Championing and quality assuring our theory of change, ensuring that programmes are designed with impact at the centre and within the frameworks that will give us the most robust data sets
• Quantitative data analysis for individual programmes and our portfolio of mentoring programmes as a whole, clearly presenting our impact against our outcomes
• Qualitative data analysis of mentoring messages, written feedback and focus groups/1:1 interviews
• Producing high quality evaluation reports for individual programmes, including recommendations for future iterations
• Producing organisational impact reports and blogs/posts, to present our impact to external audiences
• Creating and maintaining PowerBI dashboards to present live impact data
• Proofing and testing baseline and exit surveys to ensure accuracy of questions and survey logic across our portfolio

The Bishop of Sheffield is seeking to appoint a Chaplain to assist and enrich his ministry, in particular by praying for him and with him, and by enabling his pastoral support of clergy and lay leaders across the Diocese. The Chaplain will act as secretary to the Bishop's Senior Staff Team (BSST).

The Church Commissioners, on behalf of the Bishop of Sheffield, is seeking a Chaplain to to support and enable his ministry across the Diocese of Sheffield.

This is a unique and deeply rewarding role at the heart of diocesan life combining pastoral care, liturgical leadership, strategic support, and trusted companionship in ministry. Working closely with Bishop Pete, you will help him live out his calling to lead the diocese prayerfully, joyfully and collaboratively as we pursue our shared vision: Renewed! Released! Rejuvenated! by 2032.

The Bishop's Chaplain plays a central part in supporting the Bishop's apostolic ministry helping him to lead in mission, preside over the sacramental life of the diocese, and offer pastoral care to clergy and lay leaders. You will work closely with the Bishop, the Bishop of Doncaster, the Dean, Archdeacons, and the Bishop's Senior Staff Team, sharing in the oversight and flourishing of the diocese.

Based at Bishopscroft, Snaithing Lane, Sheffield, you will be part of a small, warm and collaborative team alongside the Senior PA and Administrative Assistant. The role is varied, fast-paced and relational, requiring wisdom, discretion, theological depth and a joyful commitment to the life of the Church. The role involves regular contact with clergy, lay leaders, diocesan staff and civic partners, and includes Sunday parish ministry as required.

The post-holder will be a priest of the Church of England, or of a church in full communion with it. (S)he will conduct worship on behalf of the Bishop and preside at all sacraments appropriate to the Church of England. This post has attached to it an occupational requirement under the 2010 Equality Act, Part 1, Schedule 9. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS with Adult and Child Barred Lists check (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.

Working Hours - The expectation is of a similar time commitment as a parish priest. As a general rule, the Chaplain will be expected to share in morning worship outside office hours, and to keep office hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with a break for lunch. There is an expectation of some work, and ministry being exercised, outside office hours. There will be some evening commitments. The rest day is generally a Friday or Saturday. On Sundays, the Chaplain will usually be expected to be available to take services and preach where needed.

Responsibilities

Strategic

• Support the Bishop in delivering diocesan mission priorities, especially around clergy recruitment, induction and development.
• Help the Bishop remain focused on long-term strategic goals, offering perspective, encouragement and clarity.
• Represent the Bishop at meetings, events and parish visits as required.

Liturgical

• Lead and oversee worship and prayer within the Bishop's office and Senior Staff Team.
• Plan and support diocesan services including confirmations, institutions, ordinations and cathedral events.
• Prepare bespoke prayers and liturgies for civic and ecclesiastical occasions.
• Preach and preside in parishes across the diocese, particularly during vacancies or clergy absence.

Pastoral & Administrative

• Be a trusted confidant to the Bishop, offering pastoral support, theological insight and honest challenge.
• Serve as secretary to the Bishop's Senior Staff Team and other key meetings.
• Act as the Bishop's primary point of contact with clergy and lay leaders, managing correspondence and identifying pastoral needs.
• Oversee clergy processes, including MDRs, clergy status letters, safeguarding training records, PTO lists, and clergy files.
• Support the Senior PA in ensuring the Bishop is fully briefed for all engagements.

Legal & Safeguarding

• Oversee Clergy Discipline Measure administration and clergy grievance processes.
• Act as first point of contact for safeguarding matters within the Bishop's Office, liaising with the DSO and attending Core Groups.
• Work with the Diocesan Registrar on legal matters including licences, pastoral reorganisation and benefice suspensions.
• Serve as the Bishop's Data Protection Compliance Officer, ensuring DPA 2018 compliance.

The Communications Lead will:

• Build brand awareness and help to ensure the TLC: Talk, Listen, Change Group brands are accurately and consistently represented at all times. In particular, ensure consistency in messaging and tone of voice for each brand and when communicating about the Group as a whole.

Key Responsibilities

Copywriting and Content Creation

• Lead the creation of compelling written copy and marketing assets for a range of audiences and platforms to support the needs of colleagues across the TLC Group – including but not limited to: Engaging, persuasive and impactful sales pitches and proposals, Annual report, Case studies, Key messages, Quotes, Digital and printed collateral, Social and web content and assets, Press releases, Speeches, News articles.and other marketing materials
• Develop creative ways for this to build brand awareness, market services and facilities, communicate programmes, activities and impact.

Media and PR

• Lead on developing relations with media, generating and placing stories, and generating PR.
• Create media content including stories for press and publications
• Contribute to the identification and management of reputational and other communications and marketing-related risks. Social channels
• Create engaging and relevant written content for social media that helps grow our following and boost our reputation.
• Collaborate with our staff teams to ensure all our engagements are on brand and on message. 

Website

• Take responsibility for the development and management of all written aspects of the website, including generating content, maximising its potential and monitoring its impact. Fundraising and Influencing Work with the Development Team to:
• Produce regular supporter newsletters, mailings, reports and other content to engage with relevant stakeholders
• Lead the development of messaging, copy and content to support fundraising propositions, campaigns and events
• Help create and test high-level campaign / proposition messaging and lead the development of supporter copy for a range of applications and channels
• Create impactful and persuasive pieces to support with influencing. 

Internal Communications

• Work alongside the Creative Design Lead and Director of Business Services to further develop our internal communications streams.
• Craft organisation-wide announcements and produce organisation-wide communications in the form of (including but not limited to): - Newsletter, Lunch and learn sessions, with an aim of 6 taking place each year, Podcast (aim of once a month), You Said, We Did communications, CEO video messages, Updates on staff group / network activities, Internal events, including town halls and ‘coffee and cake’
• Support with the organisation of our annual TLC Group staff conference.

General

• Ensure marketing collateral is compliant, factually correct and internal charity practices are followed (e.g. GDPR, photo consent, claim substantiation, budgeting).
• Work with the Group Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager and Creative Design Lead to prepare, monitor and report on the annual Marketing and Communications budget.
• Develop creative communications ideas and keep abreast of latest trends and innovations to help inform our plans.

Lead the Pensions Board's external voice and media presence, shaping clear, impactful communications on key financial and ethical investment issues. Partnering closely with senior leaders, you'll drive strategic messaging, manage high-profile media relationships, and enhance the organisation's reputation and influence.

Within the Communications directorate, the Financial communications team handles external and press communications for two separate legal entities- the Church Commissioners and the Pensions Board - and works with other parts of the wider organisation to support with communications matters related to Finance.

This senior role within the team is focused on explicitly supporting the Pensions Board.

This role serves as the strategic lead on media, and external communication matters for the Pensions Board, advising and working with senior leaders to propose, develop and execute well thought through proactive and reactive communication strategies to realise delivery of our biggest priorities

It is a hybrid and matrix role. The role holder will work within the NCIs' multi-disciplinary national Communications team ensuring the Board's external communications response is resilient, best practice and well-planned while also taking a steer on initiatives and the handling of key topics from leaders within the Pensions Board. Being able to influence and engage with senior leaders from multiple expert disciplines will be absolutely essential.

Your day-to-day reporting line for key work objectives is to the Director of Strategy & Engagement in the Pensions Board. Professional development and formal line management will be undertaken by the Head of Financial Communications in the NCI's Comms team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaboration
* Be the primary 'lead' press contact for key stakeholders at the Pensions Board, with a particular focus on ethical and Responsible Investment.
* Lead the development of external media plans to support delivery of the Board's objectives, aligning these with customer communications and stakeholder plans being formed within the Board, working closely with the Customer Communications Manager and Engagement colleagues in Housing and Pensions
* Work as part of the Financial Communications team to manage the relationship with the Ethical Investment Advisory Group,
* Proactively initiate, build and manage complex relationships with key financial and specialist journalists who cover the work of the Pensions Board, strengthening the Board's media presence.
* Work with the digital communications team to initiate social media content for the Pensions Board, including establishing and managing the Board's LinkedIn presence.

Communications planning/proactive comms
* Initiate and sustain effective external communications planning on a monthly and annual basis. This includes setting clear objectives to enhance effectiveness, close gaps and prioritising 'media' requests across Pensions Board teams.
* Be responsible for the development and delivery of key KPIs assessing media performance, and external reach, reporting to the Pensions Board's Director of Strategy & Engagement.
* Put in place a robust comms calendar
* Shape and author messaging ahead of anticipated media interest with an aim to grow the influence of the Pensions Board.
* As a trusted and savvy communications expert, advise internal stakeholders in the development and communication of their core messaging, especially on key projects and initiatives.
* Proactively identify and realise PR opportunities for the Pensions Board aligned to the Board's delivery plan, key strategic projects and making the most of opportunities with wider Church networks.

Reactive comms
* Monitor press coverage and distribute to internal contacts
* Respond professionally to media enquiries from news organisations, including the rapid development of agreed responses to media enquiries, seeking counsel from the Head of Financial Communications to enhance the response. Staying calm under pressure will be essential.
* Field media requests for interviews, photo calls, events, and similar.
* Support with media training and photo shoots for internal stakeholders, including working with and coaching colleagues (at all levels) to enhance their confidence with media exposure.

Content and events
* Identify and organise relevant speaking, conference and award opportunities, including speech writing where needed.
* Collaborate on the production of the PB's annual review, Stewardship Report and other reports - liaising with internal stakeholders, collating and editing content, working with the design agency, and managing budget
* Initiate, manage and maintain excellent relationships with external suppliers and design agencies, including instilling clear standards for delivery.
 

Essential
Knowledge/Experience
* Knowledge of pensions and investments industry, including regulatory landscape
* Interest in responsible and ethical investment
* Significant experience of financial communications, including authoring content, developing strategies for engagement and communications planning.
* Significant experience of working with media including working with and managing relationships with journalists.

About us

Prisoners Abroad is a unique UK charity supporting people affected by overseas imprisonment. We provide vital practical and emotional support to individuals in prison overseas, those returning to the UK, and their families.

We are now looking for a qualified Counsellor or Psychotherapist to join us on a consultancy basis, supporting a new Mental Health Support after Imprisonment Abroad project.

About the role

Self-Employed Counsellor Consultant

Self-employed consultancy opportunity with a commitment of 2 days per week and delivered face to face from our office in Finsbury Park, London N4.

Fee: £37,800 for a commitment of two days per week over 84 weeks of this project, running from August 2026 to April 2028. This is a self-employed consultancy arrangement and does not constitute employment. The appointed practitioner will be engaged under a contract for services submit invoices.

We are looking for a self-employed counsellor or psychotherapist who can provide structured therapeutic support, contribute clinical insight to an emerging model of support, and work collaboratively with our resettlement team within a clear framework for referral, safeguarding, record-keeping and review. Key responsibilities

• Deliver short-term, structured one-to-one counselling (typically up to six sessions per client)

About This Vacancy

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our International Programmes Team on a permanent basis, working within our Asia region.

Overview

The Project Officer will be part of a regional team that works with new and existing partners to design, deliver and learn from projects in line with the organisation’s mission. The team supports the full project cycle: partner engagement, application review, due diligence, project design, contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and project closure, maintaining accurate records throughout, in close collaboration with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists).

The Project Officer will work collaboratively across the regional team, providing flexible support and surge capacity during peak periods and responding to emerging priorities as required. Under the supervision of Programme Managers and the Regional Director, they will also take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of assigned partners and specific projects, ensuring timely progression from concept to completion and that documentation, compliance, quality assurance and learning requirements are met. This includes working with the Quality Team to integrate appropriate MEAL approaches, support data quality and ensure learning is captured and shared.
 

Key Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design resources and digital content ensuring consistent messaging, branding, tone of voice and content conforms to the security and guidelines
• Create digital assets for social media, website, email and SAT-7 UK app
• Support the Senior Editor in designing assets for key publications and prayer campaigns, that will raise awareness of SAT-7’s work and be used to expand SAT-7’s support base
