The Royal British Legion is looking for an experienced and data-minded Senior Growth Manager to lead its supporter growth activity and help turn engagement into long-term income and loyalty.

This is a senior role focused on one of the biggest opportunities within RBL’s mass fundraising programme. You will lead the strategy for Growth, using data and supporter insight to shape targeted cross-sell, upsell and reactivation activity across individual giving. The focus will be on understanding what supporters need, when they are most likely to engage and how communications can strengthen the individual giving supporter experience while increasing lifetime value.

Reporting to the Head of Acquisition and Development, you will define Growth plans, set priorities and use performance data to understand what is working and where there is potential to improve.

Working closely with colleagues across Acquisition, Welcome, Retention, Planning, Data, Events, Legacies and other areas of Fundraising, you will help create a consistent supporter experience and ensure Growth activity contributes to wider fundraising objectives.

You will also lead and develop a Growth Manager and two Growth Officers, creating clarity, supporting high performance and ensuring the team has the insight and focus needed to deliver. Strong stakeholder management will be important, as you build effective relationships across RBL and with external agencies, bringing together different teams and priorities to deliver joined-up supporter journeys.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience of developing and delivering mass fundraising or customer communication strategies, with a strong understanding of individual giving, supporter experience and how data can be used to improve engagement and income.

You will have proven experience managing teams, working with complex programmes and budgets, and using insight to make informed decisions about audiences, communications and performance. You will be comfortable translating strategy into clear plans and measurable outcomes, while influencing stakeholders across a large and complex organisation.

THE CHARITY

Universify exists to create a fairer, more equal society where every young person can fulfil their potential regardless of their background. We work primarily with Year 10-11 students (aged 14-16) to increase their aspirations, improve GCSE attainment and to gain a greater understanding of post-18 pathways, particularly university, to make a more informed decision about their future. Role profile

As a Maintenance Operative covering sites across Brighton & Hove, you will take on a hands‑on role combining practical maintenance tasks with caretaking responsibilities. You will help create and maintain safe, welcoming, and psychologically informed accommodation for the people we support.  This is a practical role; undertaking void works, working on and assessing the day‑to‑day compliance of our sites. You will be working closely with housing staff throughout the services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive maintenance, caretaking, and cleaning service to ensure safe, welcoming, and psychologically informed accommodation.
• Carry out day‑to‑day maintenance across our sites, with occasional support to other housing schemes.
• Complete maintenance, cleaning, repair, and redecoration works within agreed timescales, delegating tasks where appropriate.
• Perform or delegate general caretaking and cleaning duties, including cleaning communal areas, litter‑picking, and waste removal.

• Support iconic events: Support the end-to-end delivery, managing a portfolio of fantastic sporting events.

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity created to provide additional capacity within our Events team during preparations for the London Marathon 2027. In 2027, the event is expected to operate as a one-off expanded two-day event, creating a temporary increase in workload across the team.

Working arrangements 

This role is being recruited on a 12 month fixed-term basis because it has been created to support a temporary, time-limited increase in workload associated with preparations for the London Marathon 2027. The role is an additional position within the team and is not intended to form part of the team's ongoing establishment beyond the period of increased demand. The contract is therefore expected to end once the temporary resourcing requirement created by the London Marathon 2027 project has concluded.

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The Team Leader will provide operational leadership for a team of Employment Specialists delivering an Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service for people with severe mental illness and complex mental health needs. The role is responsible for managing team performance, ensuring service quality, meeting contractual and IPS fidelity standards, and supporting staff through supervision, coaching, mentoring and training. The post holder will oversee caseload management, monitor assessments and support plans, coordinate employer engagement activities, and maintain strong working relationships with NHS partners, commissioners and community stakeholders. They will also hold a small caseload when required, ensuring service users receive personalised, recovery-focused support to obtain and sustain competitive employment, while contributing to service development, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement. 

What do I need to bring with me?

The successful candidate will have significant experience in IPS, employment support or related services, together with proven experience leading and developing teams in a target-driven environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to build effective partnerships with mental health services, employers and external agencies. The candidate will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and committed to promoting recovery-focused, strengths-based and person-centred approaches. Strong IT skills, an understanding of data protection and safeguarding requirements, and a genuine belief in the positive impact of employment on mental health and wellbeing are also required.

We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our team at Horsham Y Centre. You will respond promptly to any reported incidents, accidents, or concerns, carrying out thorough checks and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. You will also take a proactive approach to preventing anti‑social behaviour, working closely with support staff to maintain a positive environment. In addition, you will carry out one‑to‑one interventions with young people who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or who require medical assistance, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support.

As a Young Persons Transitional Worker with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.

We’re looking for a dedicated Young Person’s & Adults Recovery Transitions Worker to join our Newham Service. This role sits within our Young Persons team and focuses on supporting individuals aged up to 25 as they transition into adult services.

You will provide assessment, advice, care-planned treatment, and ongoing support to young people experiencing serious or complex substance-related issues. A key element of the role is coordinating transitions, both into adult treatment pathways and into meaningful education, employment, or training opportunities.

Importantly, this role will also support individuals who require help around ketamine use, offering tailored harm reduction advice, early intervention, and recovery-focused support as part of their care plan.
