About the Role

The Casework Coordinator will provide high quality, person-centred case coordination, advice and practical support to refugees, refugee families and people with no recourse to public funds living in temporary accommodation or transitioning into longer-term housing. The postholder will manage a caseload of individuals and families, undertaking assessments, developing personalised support plans and coordinating access to housing, health, education, financial and other support services to promote stability, independence and positive integration outcomes.

Working as part of the London Borough Outcomes Partnership, the postholder will collaborate with local authorities, delivery partners and community organisations to support successful move-on from temporary accommodation, improve access to services and contribute to the achievement of contractual outcomes. 

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

We are seeking an experienced Social Media & Public Sector Engagement Officer to lead our social media and digital communications activity.

This role is about more than managing social media channels. We are looking for someone who can help raise the profile of invest in play amongst local authority leaders, commissioners, government departments, charitable funders, service providers and organisations working with children and families.

The successful candidate will be confident creating content that engages both professional and public audiences while helping position invest in play as a trusted and influential voice within the children's and family support sectors.

We’re seeking two Communications and Engagement Officers – one embedded within our Development team and one within our Volunteering team. About The Girls’ Network:

Role Summary

The Regional Programme Lead is responsible for delivering The Girls’ Network’s suite of programmes in schools and colleges, including facilitating engaging and impactful workshops for girls aged 14–19 from disadvantaged backgrounds. The post-holder also leads on the recruitment, induction, training, matching, supervision and support of volunteers and will appropriately match mentors with young people. You will steer local partnerships and oversee programme administration to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of our mission.

This role combines hands-on programme delivery with operational coordination, ensuring that The Girls’ Network’s regional programmes achieve their intended outcomes and contribute to national KPI achievement.

Person Specification:

Essential:

The Peer Support Service Lead will oversee our service designed to offer support to address the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness or vulnerably housed. This service aims to facilitate connection, motivate and inspire and provide a non-judgmental, listening ear to empower those individuals to make informed choices.

The team will conduct outreach work within the local community to assist individuals aged 18+ who often face systemic barriers that prevent or hinder them from accessing relevant services. Clients on this service may have limited experience of maintaining tenancies and sustaining engagement with services and may be reluctant to engage and share their experiences to improve their situation.

Our Peer Support Workers aim to bridge this gap, taking a relational approach to build trust and support clients in making the first steps towards engagement with services such as housing, health and wellbeing services and social engagement opportunities.

The post holder will be an effective leader, managing the day-to-day functions of the Peer Support team and supporting them to work with individuals who experience multiple disadvantage. A key feature of the service is its Lived Experience component. As such, the role includes responsibility for ensuring the wellbeing and safety of Peer Support Workers, providing appropriate safeguarding oversight, and adopting a caring, attentive, and supportive approach to their welfare and professional development.

They will work closely with other leads across services to ensure that there is an integrated service delivery providing a person-centered and trauma informed approach.

Key tasks (selection of):

Be responsible for the day to day running of the Peer Support Service and act as the first escalation point concerning incidents and complaints.

Facilitate integrated service provision through close working alongside other Leads ensuring effective management of internal referrals and joint working within the teams.

Provide direct line management and supervision for Peer Support Workers using a caring and attentive approach to their welfare and professional development

Oversee and review the support given to Peer Support clients and provide guidance to Peer Support Workers on a range of issues relating to service delivery

Ensure opportunities for co-production, client engagement and continuous improvement of service delivery through feedback mechanisms to meet client needs.

As Safeguarding Lead and Caldicott Guardian, you will play a vital role in maintaining compliance, supporting colleagues and ensuring the voices of the people supported remain at the centre of everything delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading health and wellbeing programmes and providing line management to project leads
• Provide clinical leadership and advice to senior colleagues.
• Act as Safeguarding Lead and Caldicott Guardian.
• Ensure CQC compliance and maintain inspection readiness.

About You

You will be an experienced health or social care professional with a passion for improving outcomes for autistic people and individuals with learning disabilities.

You may already be operating at Head of level or be looking for the opportunity to step into a broader leadership role.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.  

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. 

This role is a fixed term role until 31st March 2027 with the opportunity to be made permanent subject to contract renewal.
