About the role

In this role you will have the chance to manage and deliver fundraising activity, with a particular focus on growing income from Individual Giving. From delivering a refresh of our Individual Giving programme, running events alongside our artistic programming to cultivating new relationships with Major Donors - you’ll play a vital role in sustaining and growing our impact. 

Alongside this, the Development Manager will also fundraise from Corporations, Trusts and Foundations line-manage the Development Coordinator and act as Secretary for our Development Committee.

This role is ideal for someone who's passionate about purposeful fundraising in the creative sector and can take the lead in a small ambitious team. A hands-on role which requires strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

About the role
This is a pivotal appointment at an important moment in Durham's fundraising journey.

The Head of Principal Giving will focus on developing and securing transformational philanthropic support from some of the University's most significant donors and prospects. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer, senior academic leaders, Campaign Board members and influential volunteers, you will help shape the next phase of principal giving at Durham.

You will manage a carefully selected portfolio of high-potential relationships, leading conversations that result in seven- and eight-figure gifts. Alongside securing major commitments, you will help strengthen Durham's principal giving capability, build a sustainable pipeline of future support and contribute to the success of the bicentenary campaign.

The role also offers the opportunity to engage with philanthropists and global networks across key international markets, including North America and Asia, helping to unlock new opportunities for investment in Durham's future.

What we are looking for
We are interested in experienced fundraising professionals who have secured significant philanthropic support and enjoy building long-term relationships with donors, colleagues and partners. You may already lead a major or principal giving programme within a university, or bring experience from another setting where you have worked with major philanthropists, family foundations, trusts, corporates or high-profile supporters.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take operational ownership of IT infrastructure and MSP relationship management, facilities, fleet, and contracts across our organisation. This is a wide-ranging role where your work directly underpins our frontline teams’ ability to deliver life-changing support to families with seriously ill children.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will have input into how Rainbow Trust manages its IT, property and facilities, and fleet - while also leading on the day-to-day operational infrastructure across the organisation, including overall responsibility for our IT infrastructure and security. The role holder will act as the primary internal point of contact for our Managed Service Provider, overseeing service delivery, SLAs, and ensuring our IT infrastructure remains secure, compliant and fit for purpose

Managing the office facilities, leases, and contracts across our head office and nine regional sites, you will lead on contract negotiation and supplier management, managing a central administration budget and project manage office moves and operational projects.

With a focus on improving the efficiency of our systems, processes and ways of working, you will also line manage our Fleet Administrator, overseeing our fleet of 80 leased vehicles and be an integral part of decision making.

This is a substantive management role with real ownership, and meaningful variety - ideal for an experienced operations professional with a sound understanding of Microsoft Administration and cyber security ready to take on a broad remit in a values-driven organisation.

What we’re looking for:

A qualification in cyber security or IT and experience of Microsoft administration, cyber security and MSP management is also necessary for this role.

We’re looking for a skilled and innovative individual to lead one of our pioneering Therapeutic Hubs, developed in partnership with a local church. This role sits at the front line of responding to the growing mental and emotional health needs of children, young people and families, offering high-quality therapeutic support to intervene early and prevent crisis.

As Head of Service for the Hub, you will provide strong clinical leadership, delivering targeted therapeutic support for complex cases while overseeing referrals and therapeutic pathways within the Hub. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team of volunteer counsellors, trainees and therapeutic coaches, modelling trauma‑informed, relational practice shaped by PACE values and reflective supervision.

Alongside direct delivery, you will play a key role in developing the Hub’s reach and effectiveness, working collaboratively with TLG, Emmanuel Church London (the Greenwich Hub partnering church) and local referrers. Safeguarding, quality and professional excellence are central to the role, with responsibility for ensuring the Hub is a safe, welcoming and effective space for children and families from diverse backgrounds to find healing and hope.

Due to the pioneering nature of this role, its scope may initially feel broad, as a key focus in the Hub’s early stages will be on shaping and developing the service with the church and central TLG team. The Nest Service is designed to enable young women and girls to escape harm and to thrive in their lives and aspirations, by supporting them to build confidence, self-esteem and resilience, manage their health and wellbeing and access and engage with other support services. In addition to dedicated advocacy support, they will be able to access a programme of prevention and awareness-raising groups and workshops run out of Advance Women’s Centres.

As an Advocate you will work one-to-one with each participant over an extended period. You will build trusted relationships and coordinate practical support across the areas that most affect young women’s stability and future prospects - including education, housing, health, employment and interaction with justice services.

About You:

To be successful as the Nest Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

• A strong understanding of the challenges facing young women and girls, including the impacts of gang involvement, exploitation, mental health, domestic abuse and contact with the criminal justice system, and of the practical and emotional support needs specific to this group, including education, confidence and relationship-building.
• Knowledge of trauma informed, gendered approaches in supporting young women facing multiple forms of disadvantage.
• Current knowledge of legislation, guidance and regulations relating to safeguarding, child protection and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSE).
• Experience of using motivational interviewing and coaching techniques with young women and girls, using a woman-centred approach to build trust and rapport.
• Experience of risk management, needs assessment, safety and support planning, particularly with young women and girls with complex/multiple needs.

We are looking for an experienced corporate fundraising specialist to drive growth of our burgeoning Corporate Partnerships programme, unlock exciting new opportunities for support, and lead on developing new voluntary income from corporate partnerships. 

In this role, you will champion creative, insight-driven new business development and account management, ensuring partnerships are meaningful, mutually beneficial, and aligned with our mission. The role will encompass research and qualification, engagement of potential corporate partners, developing propositions and proposals, pitching and securing new partners, and relationship building and stewardship. This opportunity will suit someone proactive and self-motivated, with demonstrable experience of developing new corporate partnerships income from scratch, who is comfortable working independently, skilled in building relationships at all levels, and driven by Voice 21’s mission.

Main responsibilities 

• Working collaboratively across the organisation to build trusted relationships internally, maximise opportunities, and ensure corporate partnerships support our strategic objectives.

• Identifying and delivering opportunities to develop new partnerships, securing and onboarding new corporate partners through targeted engagement.

• Building and maintaining sustainable relationships with corporate contacts, ensuring excellent engagement and stewardship.

• Building and managing a robust pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring a strategic and targeted approach to new business.

• Collaborating across teams to shape and deliver high-value, mutually beneficial partnership proposals that align with organisational priorities. 

• Providing strategic support to the Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring where appropriate that senior colleagues are fully briefed and prepared.

• Contributing your sector knowledge, expertise and specialist insights to inform strategy and innovation and assist decision-making.

Your progression 

 Within 1 month, you’ll:

• Learn about the organisation, our mission, impact and case for support; understand our supporters, our fundraising strategy and activities; connect with colleagues and start to build key relationships. 

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Review corporate partnerships strategy; build targeted list of new corporate prospects; develop partnerships propositions with colleagues. 

 Within 6 months, you’ll:

• own and start to execute corporate partnership strategy; drive pipeline development and prospect engagement; set longer term objectives and KPIs for the programme. 

Person specification 

• Demonstrable experience of setting up a corporate fundraising programme, with a track record of securing five-figure+ relationships and raising income to target.

• Knowledge and/or experience of a wide range of corporate income streams, from strategic partnerships and sponsorships, to cause-related marketing, employee engagement, gifts in kind, etc.

• Strong commercial awareness, with ability to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities. 

• Proactivity and assertiveness, with the ability to recognise and act on new opportunities, along with the tenacity to secure meetings. 

• Experience of building a portfolio of corporate sector prospects and managing a pipeline of opportunities. Ideally with experience of using Salesforce (or another CRM system) to manage pipelines, track performance, and report on outcomes.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, negotiating and influencing to achieve successful outcomes. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident and engaging presentation abilities.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Knowledge of fundraising legislation, ethics, compliance, and data protection requirements.

• Self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously, and able to take ownership of own performance. Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative culture.

Who you’ll work with: Your line manager will be the Head of Fundraising. There is also a full-time Fundraising Officer in the team who will provide some support for this role. The postholder should expect to work regularly with the CEO and wider leadership team. Fundraising sits within Voice 21’s Operations Directorate.

Where you’ll work: All Voice 21 staff work remotely and this is a home-based role, with some travel expected to our London office (near Victoria station) and elsewhere for meetings. Occasional overnight stays may be required. Voice 21 pays all travel and accommodation expenses.

Are you passionate about seeing young people come to know Jesus and grow in relationship with him? We’re looking for a Youth Pastor to support the work we’re doing and innovate in new spaces, including taking a lead on outreach and pioneering the youth ministry at a new HT congregation in northeast Cambridge

This role has been created as part of a restructure of our youth team and will sit under the current youth pastor. Under their leadership, the postholder will take point on developing a youth ministry at a new HT congregation in northeast Cambridge, which is due to be launched in 2027. They will also assist the current Youth Pastor in facilitating our growing ministry at our city centre site.

HT has a brilliant bunch of young people, many of whom are eager to get stuck into learning, growing, and following Jesus! There are currently about 100 youth connected to HT, of whom about 60 make up a committed core. The youth are a real mix from a range of schools and areas around Cambridge and beyond.

The main event of the week is on Sunday evenings during the 5.30pm service, when the youth are usually split into younger and older youth for a combination of games, worship, a talk, small group time, and prayer. Alongside Sunday evenings, there are lots of socials, weekends away, an annual trip to DTI festival, spaces to go deeper in faith, 1–1 meetups, and more.There are so many opportunities with youth throughout the year and plenty of space to add, innovate, and change things around.
