We are looking for a Mission Enabler to offer direction and energy to the ministry of Scripture Union with a focus on initiating and maintaining missional opportunities in South Wales. You will be an enthusiastic candidate who will be able to recruit, train, coach and support many Volunteers and Faith Guides working together with them. You will also lead by example, through the modelling of excellent mission delivery to children and young people consistent with Scripture Union’s mission in supporting the pioneering of new mission.

· Have considerable insight into ministry with children and young people, be a passionate advocate, an excellent practitioner, and a capable communicator.

· Be able to visualise and work towards long-term goals.

· Be open to and comfortable with different traditions, styles and expression of spirituality, prayer, and worship, and has a growing familiarity with and understanding of the Bible. 

· Have a total commitment to God and is a Christian disciple.

· Be able to communicate effectively and speak the Welsh language (would be desirable).

Role Overview:

Purpose of the Job

· To build and strengthen strategic partnerships that create more opportunities for people to play boccia.

Strategic Focus

• Promote and support the delivery of Try Boccia, providing partners with the tools, resources, and guidance required to deliver inclusive Boccia sessions across a range of community settings
• Support the development of local and regional Boccia communities, building their capacity to deliver sustainable participation opportunities across clubs and Try Boccia sites.
• Deliver a roadmap of initiatives across key locations to drive participation through a range of Boccia programmes.

• Coordinate annual budget planning and monitoring of performance against budgets.

You’ll bring substantial hands‑on experience designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform, supported by a relevant professional qualification. You have strong expertise in Dynamics customisation and extension, data modelling, integrations and APIs, and SQL Server, alongside solid experience with modern software engineering practices such as source control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.

You’re comfortable taking ownership of complex work in resource‑constrained environments, improving quality and reliability, and working directly with users to translate real needs into effective solutions. About the Role

This is no ordinary desk job. As a Programmes Officer, you will play a key role in supporting HRF’s humanitarian and development programmes, helping secure vital funding and coordinating projects that create meaningful impact for vulnerable communities worldwide.

Working closely with field teams, donors, and partners, you will contribute to programme development, grant management, reporting, and strategic coordination across multiple country programmes. The role also includes opportunities for international travel to field locations, offering direct exposure to the communities and projects you support.

What You'll Be Doing

Under the management of the Head of International Programmes (HQ-based), the Programmes Officer will support the development and implementation of HRF’s programmes, with a strong focus on programme coordination, donor engagement, and fundraising. Key responsibilities include:

Grant Acquisition and Donor Coordination

• Develop concept notes, proposals, budgets, logical frameworks, and situation analyses.
• Identify new funding opportunities through donor platforms, clusters, and networking.
• Coordinate with colleagues to gather data required for proposal development.
• Represent HRF at relevant meetings and networking events.
• Coordinate with the marketing department to support project visibility.

Grant and Programme Management

• Review contracts, MOUs, and project documentation.

Administrative Work

Who we're looking for

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field; master’s degree desirable.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the humanitarian or development sector.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong report-writing skills.

The Role

You will be confident working with families, able to manage a caseload, and comfortable delivering support in a range of settings including hospitals, family hubs, homes and community spaces.

You will need to be flexible, relational and practical, with the ability to work some evenings or weekends to reach fathers at the right time.

You will bring:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Officer to lead and support the development and delivery of Natural Flood Management (NFM) and wider freshwater conservation projects. The role will involve working closely with farmers, landowners, partner organisations, regulators and local communities to design and implement practical interventions that deliver multiple environmental benefits, including flood resilience, habitat restoration, water quality improvement and biodiversity recovery.

The successful candidate will play a key role in translating ecological evidence and catchment priorities into deliverable on-the-ground projects.
