More about the role:  As Communications Manager – Social Media & Storytelling, you will lead our organic social media and storytelling from idea to publication. Community Coach

As a member of the Community Team, you will provide vital support to people who have completed our course in prison and are now in the community working to find the stability they need to realise their potential, achieve their goals and rebuild their lives after prison.

This is an exciting time to join our Community Team as we look to broaden and deepen the support we offer participants as they leave prison. You will help shape our offer to participants; drawing on your experiences and creativity and working with our other Community Coaches to trial new approaches.

Partnership working plays an important part of the role, and you’ll get to connect with employers, partners and statutory organisations to support participants as they build a life after prison.

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking an Area Giving and Finance Adviser (Stepney) to play a key role within the Area Finance team, based at Causton Street.

Job Summary

The purpose of the Area Giving and Finance Adviser role is to provide comprehensive finance support to churches within the Stepney Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. Additionally, the role entails promoting generous giving through training initiatives, facilitating the award of grants and loans to churches from Area funds, and fostering effective communication and relationship-building between the Area team, Finance team, and parish officers.

Job responsibilities

Financial support 

• Enable churches to develop their respective ministries, manage their finances effectively, and meet their statutory responsibilities. 
• Provide finance and other appropriate training, support, resources and advice to the clergy, PCCs and parish officers. 
• Assist the Bishop, Archdeacons and Area Deans in managing Common Fund giving by the churches in the Area. 
• Facilitate and monitor the award of grants and loans to churches from Area funds. 
• Support the Area Bishop’s staff team and Area Council in monitoring the use of Area resources, including post numbers, curate funding and other matters. 

Giving 

• Supporting parishes to encourage a culture of generosity and giving.

• Support the introduction of different methods of giving, including online, contactless, and Parish Giving Scheme. 

Relationship management 

• Build relationships with, and promote effective communication between, the Area team, Finance team, parish officers and the other Area Finance Advisers.  Work with the National Giving Team on projects that support parish ministry.

About the role

We are committed to ending the homelessness of more people using our direct services, including people with complex needs. To do this, we are seeking a part-time Practitioner Psychologists to join our fantastic team in Crisis Skylight London.

You will form part of the local Leadership team, supporting the implementation of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs). You will support the delivery of our work to members by offering training and leading reflective practice for staff and providing direct services to members at times.

You will also be a part of a national psychology team made up of a Lead Clinical Psychologist, a Regional Lead Clinical Psychologist and nine Practitioner Psychologists as well as Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placements.

At Crisis, we understand more and more Practitioner Psychologists are taking on multiple part-time opportunities within the NHS, academia, private practice and the third sector as this has been the case with our own team. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Adult Learning, Skills and Employment to join our Senior Management Team and lead one of our core service areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a wide-ranging, community-based service that supports local residents to develop skills, confidence and pathways into employment. Bringing together our Community Education & Training provision and Employment & Careers services, the role is responsible for ensuring a cohesive offer that supports hundreds of individuals each year from community learning through to work.

A core element of our provision is the delivery of high-quality adult learning, including functional skills (English, maths and ICT), ESOL, community wellbeing, family learning, pathways to employment and selected vocational courses. Our services are shaped by both community need and funding priorities and continue to evolve in response to local demand and emerging opportunities.

Employment support also forms an integral part of our wider offer, both through embedded progression support within Adult Education provision and through separately funded programmes for priority groups, including younger jobseekers (18–24) and older residents (50+). Our current provision is primarily funded through Lambeth Adult Learning and the Greater London Authority, with a combined annual budget of approximately £750,000 per year.   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups.
• Other:
  • Physically able to perform CPR on a manikin on the floor.
  • Confident using Microsoft applications and digital tools for course administration.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel to training venues.

We're looking for a specialist with a proven track record and experience of designing and developing regulated qualifications and/or end-point assessments. This is a technical role for someone who understands how to create qualifications and assessment products that are compliant, inclusive, fit for purpose and workable in practice.

In this role, you'll lead the development and review of qualifications and apprenticeship assessments, including specifications, assessment strategies, sample assessments and test banks. You'll manage work through development, regulatory submission, implementation and ongoing review, helping to ensure our products meet regulatory requirements and maintain standards for all learners.

We're particularly looking for someone with experience in:

• designing and developing regulated qualifications and EPAs
• working within Ofqual, Skills England and other relevant regulatory frameworks
• embedding accessibility, inclusion and reasonable adjustment considerations into assessment design
• working with providers, funders, regulators and sector partners.

About You

You will be an experienced Payroll professional able to work with limited supervision and support.

You will be working with our employee records on the payroll system, which includes sickness and our EAP programme, as well as regular reconciliation of PAYE, NIC, pension, Student Loan, Tax Credits and any other payroll deductions and credits paid over to HM Revenue & Customs and other institutions. You will prepare all statutory returns and forms for all payrolls including RTI returns and FPS/EPS returns as well as the of year end procedure on Sage and producing and issuing P60s.

Remuneration for this role will be up to £44,956. There will be a four-month probationary period. The post holder will be eligible for a bonus every year and free lunch in College on working days. About the role

As a Trainee Multi‑Disciplinary Advocate, you will work across 2 of our local Advocacy Teams. The first Team has a fixed base at Langdon Secure Hospital on Exeter Road in Dawlish. The second Team works remotely across Devon & Torbay as part of the Devon Advocacy Consortium (DAC) whose headquarters are based in Exeter. You’ll support people with a wide range of needs — including mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and physical or sensory disabilities — to express their wishes, understand their rights, and be part of decisions that affect their lives.

You don’t need previous advocacy experience.
What you do need is compassion, commitment, and a willingness to learn.

We’ll support you through:

• Full enrolment onto the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice qualification

• Gradual progression to holding your own caseload
• Development in instructed and non‑instructed advocacy approaches
